The Home:
We’re two siblings who recently moved here looking for a like-minded professional to join our relaxed, respectful, and welcoming home!

The property has plenty of character - an older 2.5-storey home situated above a shop, with a loft-style feel. LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive. Not a party house, but we do enjoy having friends over occasionally, going to gigs, movie nights, or the occasional drink. We both work a lot, so overall it’s a calm household, also rarely see each other because the space is really big. There’s a lot of space, basically 2 living rooms too so if you have other furniture feel free to bring it!

• 5–7 minute drive to the motorway
• Coles & Woolworths: 5-minute drive or approx. 20-minute walk

The Room:
Rent: $1,450 per month
Bond: Equivalent to one month’s rent
Furnishing: The room is unfurnished

• Located on the top floor
• Shared balcony (smoker-friendly)
• Shared bathroom with Phyrell

Quirks of the place
- The building likely used to be commercial, so the room advertised includes an exposed air vent and a small access panel, adding to the loft-style character.
- Due to the building’s age and air vents, sound can travel. So those who are very sensitive to sound or have sensory challenges should consider this, as it’s not something we can change.
- There is also a store/wine bar next door so generally a low background murmur rather than loud noise occur sometimes.

Bills & Practical Details
• Bills split evenly: Wi-Fi, power, gas and water
• Smoking permitted outside only (balconies available)
• No parking sadly, only street parking on Auburn Road but it has time limits; and then Victoria Road has street parking but permits required however I don’t know all the info.
• Stairs only, no lifts and entry and bedroom both upstairs

We’re looking for someone who is:
• 25+ / early 30s professional
• Working full-time (no students)
• Clean, respectful, and easy to live with
• Seeking long-term (minimum 10 months)
• No couples
• no cats but we’re open to another small dog if they get along!
