I live in the bottom part of the house and my daughter ( a busy dance teacher ) in one of the four upstairs rooms. Her room and all the other 3 guest rooms have their own en/suites. There are actually 5 bathrooms in the house including 5 toilets, plus 2 other toilets. It is a short walk to Camberwell station in a leafy and quiet street. There are no bills to pay. I cook most nights and we eat about 7 or a bit later. Most of our guest have been happy to dine with us, saving money of course. Others may prefer to dine out. Good conversation is very important to me and my daughter...balanced with privacy of course (best of both worlds). Guests who have initially been worried about the rental price have found that it has worked economically for them with the lifestyle, privacy and included benefits (e.g. laundry with washer 2 dryers and detergent all included). There is plenty of excellent internet included. Train time to city is only 13 minutes or 22 depending which type. The Camberwell station is a hub servicing the Lilydale, Belgrave and Alamein lines. It's leafy and quiet but close to everything.

Bills are split (Pretty cheap imo) Location is charming, 10 minutes walk to Auburn station, 15 minutes walk to Glenferrie Station, two different direction trams straight outside apartment which go directly to Flinders Street in 20 minutes or Camberwell direction. The apartment is furnished with a nearly brand-new kitchen and new microwave, fridge and washing machine. The living room is not completely occupied with furnitures at the moment but gradually there will be soon :). It includes a spacious balcony as well. The room includes a spacious built-in wardrobe, a king-single bed close to brand new which is nearly $1800 with completely furnished bed set. It also includes a 1.5 metres desk and study chair which will be moved from the living room to your room. Yo Yo I've got a spare room for rent in my apartment in Hawthorn. Apartment is located right next to Glenferrie station, trains to city take 10-15 mins. Place is pretty chilled, what's mine is yours, I try to clean up after myself but don't expect it to be something to worry too much about. I'm looking for a semi permanent - permanent housemate. Students/Profs/Travellers around my age would be ideal, but not too picky. Place has quite a big balcony with an awesome view of Hawthorn (as pictured). Sick place for a durry if you smoke. Inside bathroom is a small nook for a washing machine in case you were wondering how clothes get washed. But yeah this place is pretty sick, perfect for students of Swinburne or for anyone who needs quick access to the city. Happy to let you do what you want with the room itself in terms of furnishing.
