The house is fully furnished apart from a washing machine which we are set to get in the next week or so. Off street parking is available for a car owner however, if you do not own a car the house is perfectly positioned between Auburn Train Station and Tram Route 70 or 75 to the city. The house is pretty old but clean and really nice and homey, fully furnished, has heating/cooling and unlimited internet. We're close to Camberwell junction and public transport (trams and trains), and there's heaps of on-street parking available (we also have a driveway if needed). We live in a really nice quiet street - there's a big park just down the road with views of the city and lots of cafes in the area. The room is average size, open and has big windows. We have a queen size bed, clothes racks (unfortunately no built-in) and a storage cupboard in there which you're welcome to use, however if you were wanting to furnish it yourself that's no problem! We share the bathroom and separate toilet, and also the kitchen. It is all fully equipped and functions well.

It's getting cold soon - the house has a heater in the lounge but I've got an oil heater in the room at the moment which I wont need to take so you can keep it :) I'll also leave the full length mirror in there, you've got heaps of storage and a built in wardrobe, awesome natural light coming in during the day seriously the selfies turn out amazing in this place :p The bedroom is big so you'll be able to do a bit with it. Bathroom is clean, the water is hot and toilet is seperate so there's no issues around those. Kitchen is fully equipped the fridge is always cool and the stovetop works like new. Lounge is comfy as with a big tv and a PlayStation which you can access Netflix through too. Internet is unlimited and it's fast. It's a really good apartment to live if your chill and happy doing your thing but wanna come back home to a comfy place which is close to everything.

Safe and homely, a beautiful house in a great area. 1 room available now, in a large household where I teach some classical music in the afternoons. It's in Camberwell right next to Hawthorn. I live in the bottom part of the house and my daughter ( a busy dance teacher ) in one of the four upstairs rooms. Her room and all the other 3 guest rooms have their own en/suites. There are actually 5 bathrooms in the house including 5 toilets, plus 2 other toilets. It is a short walk to Camberwell station in a leafy and quiet street. There are no bills to pay. I cook most nights and we eat about 7 or a bit later. Most of our guest have been happy to dine with us, saving money of course. Others may prefer to dine out. Good conversation is very important to me and my daughter...balanced with privacy of course (best of both worlds). Currently, the other 2 guests are a Taiwanese Uni student and an older business lady both with excellent English and fine character. Guests who have initially been worried about the rental price have found that it has worked economically for them with the lifestyle, privacy and included benefits (e.g. laundry with washer 2 dryers and detergent all included). There is plenty of excellent internet included. Train time to city is only 13 minutes or 22 depending which type. The Camberwell station is a hub servicing the Lilydale, Belgrave and Alamein lines. It's leafy and quiet but close to everything. We love it.

I love walking to cafes, yoga and the shops.
