There is a list of house guidelines so everyone feels comfortable. Common areas are left clean for the next person. Bedrooms and bathrooms have lockable doors.

If you love dogs, this could be/will already be a big green tick for you? Right, where was I? The house! If you're open to the idea of a mature, professional house share then feel free to read on... In all you'll be one of three people here but we actually have in total six bedrooms which means you'll have MORE than ample space. Add on to that we have a front balcony and a spacious back garden decking area too, it gives you two really nice outdoor areas. At the moment, if you're quick, you'll get a nice little dilemma in picking between two of the following for the same priced rent/bond: - Private bedroom with ensuite. - Private (larger) bedroom and your own separate bathroom. Which would you prefer? If you asked for my opinion, I'd probably sit on the fence. Both rooms are quite nice. I'd say come to view it and then make a choice on what feels right for you. :) Both rooms are unfurnished and do have their own built in wardrobes which are well laid out. Oh, and as summer is approaching, let me say, I'm a Pom, and I can assure you that the aircon has been well and truly tested already! I can give it two big thumbs up!** Do you drive? If so, there is one additional space in the drive and also plenty of space on the road if needed. Do note. All furniture is being replaced shortly. Nice, bright and spacious townhome with private courtyard in a quiet street. We have our own little convenience store and a great cafe at the corner (so many great cafes around here!). The Doomben train station is only a block away, and bus, ferry, Portside and racecourse road within walking distance. Netflix, Stan and internet all available, off street car park and plenty of on street. Room fits a queen bed plus desk or dresser etc and has built ins with mirrored doors. The main areas are furnished but I'm also happy to be flexible if there are other items you would like to bring.
LARGE room, MASSIVE townhouse, Fantastic Location! This is value for money at its best! Great price for a room this big (~5x3.5m, plus big walk-in wardrobe), this close to the city! It’s a huge unfurnished room with a walk-in robe - I currently have a big tv set up, computer desk, and chair, queen bed, recliner couch and more in there and it still has a lot of spare room! The room will come unfurnished - this a just a reference for how much room there is! The room has two sets of windows so the room gets a decent amount of airflow. The apartment itself is also big with a long hallway, high ceilings, wood panel floors, carpeted bedrooms and a massive recently refurbished balcony with great views. The place is surrounded with everything you need. There are an abundance of restraunts / shops nearby with Gasworks just being a short 10 minute walk and King Street only 15 minutes. It is only a 5-min walk to Bowen Hills Train Station which will have you in the city in 4 minutes and allows you to pretty much catch any train you need without needing to change. Fortitude Valley is just a 15 minute walk, or a $7 uber ride! The apartment is equipped with ducted AC and all shared living spaces are furnished including kitchen utilities and appliances. The bathroom has 2 basins, a shower and bath with a separate toilet. One of these sibks will be yours so you have plenty of space for your bathroom needs! There is a 2 car garage with one spot that will be yours if you need it! The street is quiet and will often make you forget how close you actually are to the city. About the house: This is a 3 bedroom apartment, 2 minutes from James St, 1 minute from the bus stop, and 5 minutes from the Fortitude Valley Train station. We are ideally located close to shops, cafes, bars, supermarkets, but we are set back from the road, so you cannot hear anything from the room. There is the City Winery across the road, 2 cafes on the street and a rock climbing gym (if interested) right next door. The apartment is a large upstairs, downstairs apartment, with high ceilings for lots of light, has 2 bathrooms and an extra toilet, has an off-street parking space for you, guest parking and has a large storage room, which doubles as a spare room for guests. The apartment has air conditioning downstairs AND in all the rooms as well as a great pool, so this is a great find. Also, would like to point out, the photos do not do it justice and I am not a photographer!
I am having to break my lease and give up this beautiful 2 bed apartment in the nice area of Fortitude Valley just off James St. The location is super convenient, walking distance to nearly everything you need and close to public transport. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops nearby. RBWH is a quick bus ride, 15min walk or <5min drive for those medical people starting at the Hospital next year. Split over two levels, this 2 bed 2 bath apartment is extremely functional as there is plenty of room in both the upstairs and downstairs living spaces. I worked from the second bedroom without disturbing my partner while she slept upstairs. NBN has just been installed and works well. The master bedroom upstairs is massive and has air conditioning. It also has its own private balcony. The main area downstairs is also air conditioned however we rarely used it due to the lovely cross breeze that flows right through the apartment. The kitchen is functional with a gas stove, electric oven and a dishwasher. We spend a lot of our time on the balcony which looks out at the Calile Hotel, The building has an elevator and offers a single secure parking spot in the basement. I currently rent an additional parking spot in the garage for an extra $50 per week. There is an on-site property manager who Has been a pleasure to deal with. The complex also offers a heated pool and barbecue area for general use by all residents as well as visitor parking. I have loved living here in this smaller friendly complex.
