Our place, a large weatherboard house nestled in the peaceful glades of Ivanhoe, is just a short walk from the station, two major supermarkets, an organic health food store, post office and numerous decent cafés. We have two rooms available. The downstairs room is partly furnished with a wardrobe, a small cupboard and a low table, which can be stored if you don't need them. There is a single bed available, or you are most welcome to bring your own. The upstairs room has wooden floorboards, shares an en-suite and has windows facing the front and back of the house. We are open to applications from people of all ages and persuasions. Our only stipulation is that we are only considering non-smokers. In addition to the $782.25 per month rent there is a bond amount ($800) and also we each chip in $100 a month into the rent account to cover auto-payment of all bills (including unlimited ADSL2 internet), toilet paper and other shared essentials. The train station is just a short stroll and will take you roughly 25 minutes to get to the city via the hurstbridge line, there’s also a bus stop right outside our door step which goes to Latrobe uni one way and Kew the other. on-street parking is also available if you drive. We have Uber eats within our reach and the town centre is a quick two minute drive with coles, Woolworths and loads of cafes. I would need someone willing to go on the lease. I welcome any job profession , I used to be a hospo kid so don’t mind if you work odd hours just aslong as you’re respectful when I’m sleeping! Open to couples also but the rent would go up to $255 and the bills would be spilt 3 ways rather than two ways.
