Hey people I am finally getting onto the property ladder and my room in this awesome Kangaroo Point share house is up for grabs. This is a new built, large and spacious four bedroom house with ducted aircon. The room is good sized (my bed is queen sized and you could easily fit a desk), with more inbuilt wardrobes than you will ever need. Additionally there is a spare room connected to the main bedroom. I currently use this as a storage space and spare bedroom for friends staying over but it is big enough to be made into a study or exercise room. The house also has a backyard and a large veranda. The bathroom is shared but only with one other. The house is on a quiet street and the location is very central. The Pineapple Hotel and Raymond Park is just around the corner and both KP cliffs and the Gabba are only a 5 minute walk away. There are regular buses into the city stopping a couple of minutes walk from the house. QUT is within walking distance across the river. The move in date is fairly flexible. I’m looking at being out of the house at the latest around 8 September but I can move as early as next weekend if you’d want to move before that. The current lease ends in February (you’d be replacing me on it), then your choice to renew or not.

The lounge room looks over the beautiful Brisbane river which is a treat to look at any time of the day. You can look up Story Apartments online and see why its one of the most sought-after place to live at, at Kangaroo Point. The building also has a lovely garden, a pretty cool swimming pool area as well as a gym. The building is fully secured with secured access including the car-park. To top it off we have negotiated a 25% decrease in the total rent of the place which is insane. I had two amazing flatmates but one of them just had an amazing career opportunity come up so my other flatmate and I are fully on board with that. We now have one room available for rent.
