Hey guys, I’m leaving Brisbane for two months (January and February) and I’m renting my room in my amazing share house in Kangaroo Point. We are an international share house and living in a beautiful old Queenslander in Kangaroo Point - close to the city, Story Bridge, supermarkets and little cafes as well as public transport (Wolloongabba bus, ferry etc.). The Kangaroo Point Cliffs are just a 5 minutes walk away and South Bank 20 minutes by walk. A bit about my awesome housemates: You’ll be living with a southafrican guy, Australian guy and a french girl, open- minded, outdoorsy people who love to have a chat and respect each other. We call our house a home, we enjoy movies together and we make bonfires with friends every now and then. Also not to forget is our beautiful border collie Achilles who makes each day just a little better. The house has a huge living room with TV, kitchen, dining room, laundry and dryer as well as a bathroom. We've got a little herb garden growing outside and for sure what is not to miss, are the hammocks to lean back and relax, when you feel like it. We also have a barbecue outside and a little pool, which we enjoy a lot during summer time. As for the cleaning - we are not trying to keep the house sterile but definitely clean to feel comfortable.
This is the most beautiful queenslander so very close to kangaroo point, wall to wall carpet and central duct air conditioner. Internet Gas Water Mubi is included in the rent, the electricity is shared by 3 people living in 3 rooms. This is a quite house (TV Music Movies everything needs to be enjoyed with headphones only, the protocol in the house is no one would ever come to know what the other person is watching or listening to), but we love to talk and have dinner together, have friends over and talk on the phone, and if you play a musical instrument you are free to do so all the time. I do some chanting at times and our schnoodle goes into barking mode sometimes. We are very strict about recycling and working on getting a compost in place. There is a huge backyard where there are designated areas for herb garden. Dogs are welcome, no cats or birds or geckos. The house has ample storage space in the basement so if you have lots of luggage it is no biggie, also you are free to choose whether you want to use the furniture already in the house or bring your own.
