An IGA is only 50 metres down the road and open until midnight for convenience. Otherwise Coles is a short 5 minute drive and Woolworths 10 minutes. There are two gyms within walking distance, Anytime Fitness and Jetts. We have Mowbray Park and Raymond Park with in 50 metres, Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park 10 minutes walk, and Burke Park under the Storey Bridge a 20 minute walk. If you are into your sport the Gabba Football grounds are only a 10 minute walk as well as the cafes on Logan Road and The Kangaroo Point Cliffs. There are several pubs not far such as the Shafston Hotel, Pineapple Hotel and the Storey Bridge Hotel. An Uber to the city, Southbank or Fortitude Valley is a $7-10 ride. This is an extremely well located apartment complex!! I have a new fridge, washer and dryer in the apartment. My former housemate has taken all her furniture as she moved her whole apartment. If you have existing furniture to bring then this works well for you. Anything you don't fit in the apartment you can put in the garage. I won't be bringing anything more to the apartment unless it's necessary. Your part of the rent is $195 a week which is incredibly cheap given the location and size of the apartment. The going rate for apartments in the complex are $460 per week. My housemate and I were fortunate due to timing to get a bargain rent price.
