There is air-conditioning in the living room and no TV in the communal areas (we would like to keep it like this). Our luscious backyard is fully fenced (mostly 6ft) with a clothesline, lots of shade and grass. We have previously fostered dogs from the RSPCA so if you have a canine friend and want to bring him/her with you we would be very happy. We also have a cosy space under the house with couches perfect for hanging out and playing pool. This area also has a side section allowing for plenty of storage space. The landlord is a pretty chilled out dude, always happy to make the commute fix any problems with the house. The house is a short distance to the City, Valley and West End with public transport a quick walk away. The gorgeous Kangaroo point cliffs are located at the end of our street overlooking the city (perfect spot for a BBQ). The local Coles is a 5 minute walk away and we have a 24 hour IGA around the block for those sudden essentials. Our local pub, The Pineapple Hotel is a few minutes walk away backing onto a big park. QUT Gardens Point campus is a 20min walk away over the foot bridge and busses are readily available to UQ.
