** UPDATED ** we have another room that will be available on 24th of December We just found a new housemate (thanks to Flatmates.com.au) and now we are looking for another one to move in end of December, when our english housemate is moving out. The unit is fully furnished, with big rooms, and is located in a friendly, quiet and safe neighbourhood. Good location, walking distance to many local shops and the Keilor Pub is just 3 min walk! There are lots of parklands around. We have a nice backyard with a deck that overlooks parkland. The view is beautiful! The Maribyrnong river is literally 2 min walk! Perfect spot for a run by the river or to go fishing. We don't have a dog at the moment but we are dog friendly, so if you have one you are welcome to bring him/her with you. We all love dogs! The backyard is not huge but it's good enough for a dog and theres parks everywhere around here. It's a dog's paradise! Cats are welcome too :) This is not a party house, although beers after work on the deck is awesome and we do enjoy going out sometimes on the weekend and having friends around. Rent is $180 p/w (including all bills, unlimited internet, Netflix). $360 bond. Couples welcome! For couples the price is $280 (including all bills, unlimited internet, Netflix). $560 bond. Room is furnished (with double bed and bedside tables) but if you want to bring your own furniture, that's fine! There is no contract, we just ask for a couple of weeks notice before you move out.
I love this place! balcony out the front and out the back with amazing views. only side neighbours, no houses out the front or out the back, surrounded by gorgeous parkland. the house itself is quite rustic, farmhouse like. will be filled with appliances. You will have your own bedroom and the central bathroom to yourself, as i will have my ensuite and will be the only one living there with you. I don't have wifi connected as yet, as i hotspot when i get the chance to actually sit down and watch some netflix, if i get a housemate i am happy to discuss wifi and split costs

I'm due to move into this awesome little town house in valley lakes in a few weeks on dec the 15th and id like to find two fun social housemates to join me. The 2 spare rooms on the ground floor are up for grabs and they both share a fairly large size bathroom on the ground floor. there is also a walk through mini sort of courtyard outside one of the rooms which you would be free to do whatever you like with. there is also a single car garage which i have no real plans for as yet except maybe storing a motorbike. I'm upstairs with my own bathroom. Then there is the main communal room of the kitchen/dinning & lounge with a large balcony that over looks the valley and lake which i plan to use as much as possible for bbq's over summer:-P.. the house is literally only a stones throw from the lake and has plenty of nice running tracks and spots to kick back and relax at. As soon as you get out of the valley there is heaps of cool spots located really close to check out, with niddrie and Essendon just down the road aswell as highpoint not far away, dfo just across the highway and the 59 tram on keilor rd not to far away either making a trip into the city pretty easy! included in the rent will be all the normal stuff like netflix, foxtel now, internet, plus all bills as well as probably a cleaner to come in once a fortnight to clean all the main areas.

This bedroom is fit with a split system unit, which caters to both heating and cooling along side 3 large windows which creates a great breeze/air flow. The flooring in this room is carpet which helps keep it warm in the winter. (Current furniture as seen in pictures can be moved out) This bedroom is located at the front of the house which creates a great sense of privacy and distance from the rest of the house. You will have your own bathroom which is located near your room which is yours to use as I have my own bathroom in my room. In saying this though, the laundry is a European styled laundry therefore it is shared with this bathroom. The laundry is hidden behind by fold doors so it's all designed well for space. I will still be accessing this area as I will need to access the laundry. One last thing to mention, I have a one year old Golden Retriever. So any applicant will have to be okay with dogs. He is very loving, loves to snuggle on the couch and is great when you're feeling down. I take full care of him and take him for walks every night.
