The location is great, it's a walk away from the rising sun, the kenzi pub and norwood parade. Also if you are interested in yoga, there is a yoga studio right across the street from us. The neighborhood is quiet even with the pub 3 minutes down the road from us and its pretty safe at night (there was a period of time when I get restless and walk around the neighborhood with my housemate in the middle of the night and we make it home safe and sound every night *not jinxing it*). And even though it is a quiet area, the neighbors don't mind a little bit of loud music from time to time, my housemate used to have parties until 2 to 3 in the morning and we did not receive any complaints. We don't party much anymore tho, got too busy for house parties.

We are looking for a friendly new housemate for our house in Norwood. I am 26, a teaching assistant, a reader, quiet but friendly. Angus is 21, a podiatry student and easy going. About the room: It's a large room (about 4x4m) with a small built in wardrobe. Fits a queen-sized bed. The room also includes a small downstairs 'cellar' room (about 2x3m) which you can use for storage. It has effective ducted air-conditioning and is next to the lounge room. About you: We're looking for someone who is friendly and easy-going, pays rent and bills on time, is respectful of us, and does his/her share of cleaning. There is one shared living space and a shared bathroom. We share the fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, kitchenware etc. We equally share electricity, gas, water and internet (200GB) bills at about $100/month. Our house is attached to next door so no large parties. Small gatherings are fine as long as you clean up. No smokers or drug users. No pets, sorry. The pictures of the house show it in a just moved in kinda state. This share house will suite the discerning and considerate yet social and interesting housemates who want to contribute to a functional and friendly share house. Basically the second room is a big room that might suit someone wanting more privacy. It has its own A/C , sink and even a wood heater (BYO wood). There's no dedicated bathroom for that space so you still have to come inside BUT there is a second toilet next to the laundry. The house is very large with different spaces which can accommodate social activities as well as quiet times. There are outdoor spaces, fruit trees and even a chicken run. I'm hoping to negotiate with the landlord to get 1 or 2 chickens so that we can have fresh eggs. The plan that I've uploaded should give an idea of the layout of the house. The kitchen is substantial in size with reasonably modern appliances and will have a large table and chairs for dining. The lounge will have comfortable furnishings and be a good space to retreat. The bathroom is large and functional and freshly painted throughout.
Super close and easily accessible to the city, close to the Parade, quiet area. Upstairs bedrooms are private, with spacious downstairs shared living space and outdoor area for relaxing and hanging out! House already equipped with all utilities.
Hi all, a room in our share house is now available! Large and unfinished it is awaiting your finishing touches. The rest of the house is furnished and a bond will be required to secure your spot. $105 per week plus split bills. Situated in the idyllic Maylands, it is picturesque, close to shops, bus stops and a short commute to the CBD.
Hi there, I am leaving Adelaide soon as my uni exchange comes to an end. That is why, I am looking for a person to take over my room. It's in a lovely house close to the city centre. There are two bus stops very close by, not even 100 m. But my housemate and I usually take the bike or even walk since the city centre is literally just across the park. The house itself is a bit older but in very good condition. It comes with: * fully furnished room (queen size bed, table, cupboard, wardrobe, little shelve, two chairs, lamps, laundry bag, bin, mirror, carpet) * fully equipped kitchen, also with big dining table and TV (DVD) * front and back garden * air-conditioner, also reversed * toilet and shower are separated * all bills (water, electricity, gas) are included in rent * available from 11/06/17
