The house borders on the edge of Kew and Hawthorn and is in a great location super close to many restaurants, cafes, shops and transport. We are a 5 minute walk to cotham and glenferrie road trams. Only a 10-15 minute walk to both Auburn and Glenferrie stations and is surrounded by many great park lands that are awesome on Melborne’s sunny days. The room itself is large. I have easily fit a queen size bed with bedside tables and furnishings. And also has a cute ornamental fireplace. The house is very spacious. Very good for entertaining. Has a one car driveway but has unlimited street parking and we have never had any issues with parking right outside the house. Rent is $230 per week. $999.3 per month. Bills are split evenly between us all and work out to be affordable. Unlimited wifi is also available.

Local convenient stores, supermarkets Woolworths a couple of blocks away, banks, restaurants (Burgertory is especially great), coffee shops, gym, parks and more are all conveniently located within walking distance. This is one of the best places I have lived. A large 3 story townhouse in a unique part of Kew. It is a gated community so super safe and some added benefits. You get: Lower level open plan shared area. Kitchen, dining, lounge and good bike storage. Share a bathroom with the guy on the same level as you but you have your own sink and bathroom storage. The room is large, has a built in wardrobe, overlooks the pool and greenery. The bed in the picture is a double but could easily fit a queen. Also the pole is coming with me. A cleaner comes once a month to do the shared areas and vacuum. Access to a solar powered outdoor pool, a gym (after organising induction), lawn bowls green, tennis courts and a basketball hoop. Carparking under a port is by rotation as there are only 2 spots. Works easily enough Cool housemates.

First room is absolutely enormous. you could pretty much stay in there and have your own tiny apartment inside the big apartment. but don't, cos we're cool and want to hang out with you. Second room is real small, but it's okay, cos its heck cheap! It will comfortable fit a double bed, desk and chest of drawers, and has a small built-in wardrobe. If you don't need a desk you could def just go a Queen bed in there too. Both rooms can come fully furnished with a bed, chest of drawers and a desk if you need stuff. The rest of the house is boss. Kitchen, laundry and living area are fully furnished, but you’re welcome to bring some furniture or kitchen things if you have them, we've got the space! We have a large balcony with a bunch of chairs and a wee table, so is excellent for post-work bevs and pre-drink hangs. Area itself is great, quiet and convenient. the Rec Centre with gym and pool is right across the road (as is KFC, so yunno) and we’re on High Street so walking distance from trams to the city as well as easy peasy access to a bunch of cafes, supermarkets, and maccas. Glenferrie road is just around the corner, so we're a 15-20 minute walk from Swinburne Uni and Glenferrie Train Station. A secure undercover carpark space is also available if you need it for an extra $20/month, otherwise there's a decent amount of on street parking around and a guest parking lot. Ideally looking for someone who knows how to live in a share house - tidy/clean up after themselves and pay bills on time. For the most part the flat is pretty quiet, but love to have someone sociable around for a chill on the balcony or to join in on lazy sunday netflix sessions, as well as the occasional mario kart competition.
