Close to the city and quiet this is a lovely little spot. We have one large balcony and 2 small balconettes. This is a federation building (well, the outside at least) and we have semi water views of the Lane Cove river (sometimes) and lovely breezes. My current housemate is going away for 6 months to study interstate and I am looking to fill the room for the period of 20/7/2018 to 20/01/2019. No extensions unfortunately. Ferry available from the other end of the street (weekdays) and 7 days from Woolwich wharf. There are regular busses and plenty of street parking. I have a cat, an 8 year old Russian Blue. She mostly keeps to herself. Bills included. Semi furnished. Bed and tallboy will be in room. Linen and other odds and bodds will be required. I’m pretty quiet (work a rotating roster as a nurse) and this is not a party house, but I’m flexible if you do want visitors. Own food, but happy to share bread and milk. I’m no chef lol but there is a small kitchen here and you are welcome to use whatever is in there. For the Boys, dunny seat lives in the down position in this joint please 😉 This is pretty central to most places and there is a nice shopping strip and some great cafes and walks around. We are looking for two people to join us in the this, spacious, architecturally designed modern house in Lane Cove. It's super close to the interchange which has 10-minute buses to Wynyard down the freeway. We have plenty of furniture in the house, dining table, BBQ, kitchen lounge but definitely room for you to add if you have something special. Currently, it's Will (35) and his dog Sugar (2) in the house. I am pretty laid back and love sharing a house with friendly, relaxed and positive people. Its definitely not a party house but I'm not opposed to the occasional shindig or a couple of beers/wines with the flatmates and I love cooking so sharing a meal here and there is definitely a positive for me. We have a spacious stainless steel kitchen, big deck and backyard with patio and fire pit. Solar panels keep the electricity bills down and solar/gas boosted hot water, unlimited cable internet ($15 a month if you want in). Bills (electricity/gas) are not included, but they are pretty low compared to most apartments, especially in summer because of the solar electricity/hot water. I like to keep things clean without being anal about it. It would be nice to get the kind of person someone who would clean after themselves in the kitchen and chip in without being asked occasionally on common area cleaning without having to resort to rosters or getting a cleaner in. I have a Roomba though which totally takes care of who is doing the vacuuming! Room 1. - Downtown The room is a regular sized bright room with a built-in wardrobe, and you have pretty much exclusive your own bathroom /shower as its the only bedroom downstairs (2 more upstairs). Room 2 - The Master loft! This room is HUGE. Like 2 generous sized bedrooms huge. It was originally designed as 2 rooms and still has 2 doors because of it. You can easily fit a bedroom suite, desk/ office area and a lounge area with no trouble. It also has Aircon and it's built-in storage space.
