Our home is in a quiet suburban street in Fullarton with friendly neighbours, close to the city and Adelaide University's Waite College. There is a bike lane close by and it's only a 30 min walk to the CBD fringe. The 171 bus stop (3 min) to the city as well as two large supermarkets are both in close walking distance. There are also cafe's and bakeries around the corner. Our's is a typical Adelaide stone home, it is air-conditioned, clean, and has high ceilings and big rooms. It's recently been redecorated and has a big established kitchen for everyone to use. We like to cook together if time permits. The kitchen has most appliances, including dishwasher, stovetop and coffee maker. There is a comfortable living area, entrance room, and a large bathroom with a separate laundry and w/c. Big, green front and rear gardens, BBQ. Your big bedroom, is fully furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe, a huge desk, chairs and plenty of light. You will have three housemates: a female student , a male student (both early 20's) and myself: a friendly, older Australian male. We have a spare bicycle to help you get about. We are a group of three about to move into a four bedroom home. Location is great - Unley road shops are close by and it is only a short bus ride into city. The main house has central heating and cooling, and this includes the available bedroom, which is of a decent size. The bedroom which is pictured is not the one available but is pretty much the same. There are multiple living areas and a spacious backyard. There is on site parking but also plenty of unrestricted off site areas.
This is an absolutely cracking Unley cottage 5 minutes away from the CBD and a few minutes walking distance to the shops. The location is excellent being walking distance to Unley shopping centre and many Unley Road cafes and restaurants. It is very close to the city (walking distance) and to city buses. Parkside is a great suburb with so many great restaurants, cafes, pubs, shopping, parks etc. Rent is based on single occupancy, and does not include bills. Short term and nightly stays accepted. There are two other bedrooms so you will share with 2 other persons. Share bathroom with one other tenant only as I have my own bathroom. The house is fully furnished and fully equipped with washing machine, drier, fridges and kitchen appliances. Crockery/cutlery and cookware are also provided. Ducted air-conditioning in the bedrooms and living area provides year round comfort. There is also a gym area with new spin bike, weights bench, and barbell. Rent does not include a cleaner, so tenants need to keep their living space clean, and contribute to keeping the shared spaces clean. I have listed as a maximum six month lease as my lease expires in July 18. I am unsure if I will renew, however if I do not renew there may be an option to transfer the lease.
It's a great location, easy to get into the city and the house has plenty of space with a nice little backyard. There are a few nice cafes only a short walk away, a pub on the street (but far enough away that you cant hear it). Public transport is also really easy with a bus stop at the end of the road, but if you have a car we have parking available. The room itself is unfurnished (it does have a painting on the wall) but its has a built in robe in the wall for storage and clothing.
