I am moving out and hence am trying to find myself a replacement in this three bedroom townhouse in Moonee Ponds. House is pretty homely, 2 toilets, one shower and an open kitchen, dining and lounge. There is a carport around the back of the house or plenty of parking on the street. The house is furnished. The room probably wouldn't suit someone who wanted a desk unless you had a single bed. At present there is a queen bed and wardrobe in there which fit but with minimal extra space. Very nice neighbourhood, 2 minute walk to a bus stop or 15 minute walk to Moonee Ponds train station. Bills and internet are split equally. Internet is $50 per month shared amongst 3 people. Rent is $753 per month per person and bond is $835. Move in date is flexible, but preferably first week in March. At present there is one 26 year old male who works full time Monday to Friday and plays cricket on the weekend as well as a 24 year old who is studying at uni and works regularly including weekends. Our home is modern and framed well with a nice garden front and back. The house is floorboard and tiles throughout and easy to keep clean if you suffer allergies. The location is a nice quiet pocket of Moonee Ponds, not far from lovely Queens Park, the Moonee Ponds Creek trail, some other smaller parks and Puckle St Shops and eateries. The transport options are plentiful if without car and a myki user. A bus line is 5 minutes walk away, you also have 2 tram lines 10-15 minutes walk away and the bus intersects a bus hub which branches in all directions close by. You also have a bus intersect more than 2 train lines, so you have options! I often mix it up to head in different directions or work around Metro delays so i'm not stuck. I also ride 30 mins to work in the cbd. The room is quite spacious, a past housemate had a double bed, recliner and big screen TV in his room to go with the double built in wardrobe doors. My current one has bedside tables double bed and desk with bureau. Its situated at the quiet end of the house also and is warm and inviting with good light or blockout blind. This is a good place for female post-graduate students to study without the interruption of those who like to rage. It is in easy distance of the universities (Melbourne and RMIT) to cycle or to catch the tram, bus or even the train if you would like to walk about 1km each way. It is in Zone 1. Hi everyone!, I have a large unfurnished room (easily fit king/queen bed - two sets of built in robes) available in a two bedroom terrace house in the leafy part of Flemington. It's a short walk to the tram stop or the train station, as well as cafes and bars. It's also near a separate bike path into the city as well as park lands for running etc. It's also very near to a CityLink exit and entrance, and - in relation to community safety - about 200 m from the Police Station. The house itself is recently renovated with floorboards throughout, a dishwasher and heating and cooling. The kitchen / lounge area is open plan. There is a paved outdoor area with two sheds and some underground storage space. I plan to set up a barbecue and outdoor setting out there in the near future. I have the common area furniture pretty covered with couches, TV, dining table, etc. I also have a decent fridge and kitchen utensils. I have a drier and will otherwise buy a clothes washer but it would be great if you have one. Otherwise we can of course work out where to fit whatever you have. Otherwise the house is well set up as shown in the photos and is in a convenient spot. You will need to be approved by the real estate agent. The rent is an even split in case you're concerned about that. While I personally love pets the lease does not allow for one, which is a shame...
