Sharing with three busy females in their 30s; Rowena (full-time worker), Rovena (full-time worker) and Marcela (part-time student and part-time worker). It's a peaceful, independent, considerate and friendly household; we all do our own thing, say hello or have a chat if we bump into each other, but are really independent. In the shared areas we all clean up after ourselves (ie wash dishes straight after cooking) and we have a weekly cleaning roster so each clean the house (vacuuming, mopping floors etc.) once a month. So the house stays clean and tidy with no dramas and everyone contributing. If you are looking for a house that is close to the CBD/brunswick and shopping and in a safe neighbourhood this is the place for you!! New two storey house. The laneway to our property connects to the Ascot Vale train station which is 4 stops from Southern Cross(CBD). Tram line is the street over and is very close to Moonee Ponds shopping precinct and High Point Shopping centre. Both bedrooms come with a desk and and chair. We are also about 10mins from Brunswick and 15min drive from the city. The Master bedroom located on the upper floor has a double wardrobe and can easily fit a queen bed also has split system aircon. There is also a bus out the front (472) and the shopping strip (Union Rd) is an 8 minute walk away. Your room has a door that leads to the outside and so does my flatmates bedroom. This means that if you are the type of person who likes to keep to yourself... it is almost like living alone! However, my flatmate is as friendly as they come and would love to have a chat/drink and cook up a storm with you ;) (or not). There is an electric heater that you can see in the picture and it is portable. The unit is well insulated so you won't have to use it much when it gets colder (although, I usually put a towel under the door to cut costs on heating. There is also a small bedroom that functions as a lounge room, but someone is sleeping in there right now so I can't take a photo. It has a fold out couch and there is another large TV in there. Just come and see it for yourself :)

We live on the main tramline to the city (57) with a stop directly across the road. There's also direct trams to Moonee Ponds and Maribynong up the road (4min walk) a fitness and aquatic centre nearby and a few lovely parks. About a ten minute walk or two minute tram ride to Flemington racecourse Coles centre with a medical practice. So basically anything you’d need either on our street or within ten minutes walking, which is handy.

Looking to get someone in as soon as possible :) It’s a 5 min walk to 82 & 57 tram and a 10-15min walk to Ascot Vale station (which is about 15 min to the city). The room is pretty big – about 3x5 metres – it has loads of storage space with in-built cupboards and it gets lots of natural sunlight. There’s a huge backyard which you can do anything with – you can also paint the walls if you want. It’s an old house, so it’s a bit rustic haha. You’d be just living with me and I’m cool with any age, any gender, any background ect. My one condition is you’ve gotta be clean and open minded. Sorry no cats or dogs, as I have a cat who’s pretty territorial with other cats and is scared of dogs. Rent is per week, but you can pay monthly if you like. Ascot Vale is a pretty quiet suburb, yet still really close to the city. It is at the rear of the house and has a large north facing window, measuring approx. 3.1 x 2.7 metres. It can fit a queen bed and a desk / tallboy / cupboard, as per the photos, but you'd have more room if you bring a smaller bed. We (the other housemates) have all common area stuff covered, so things like a TV, couch, dining table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, cutlery, plates etc. are all already bought and available for you to use. You'll just need to furnish your own room. Hi there fairy flossers My partner Brooke and I have just moved into a sweet place in Ascot Vale and we're looking for 2 kewl peeps to inhabit our two spare rooms. The house is located within 10 minutes of Ascot Vale station (only 4 stations from the CBD) and also a few minutes walk to the 57 tram. Probz about $12/$15 uber into the city. Also located within a 5 min walk is a 24/7 Coles as well as tonnes of awesome shops and cafes. We're looking for two people who are reliable with rent/bills and are tidy and clean up after themselves (SUPER IMPORTANT!!). Apart from that we're real relaxed and dig playing music, having beers and watching The Simpsons on repeat. Creative types preferred!!! Permit Street Parking is available. Bills have never acceded over $250 a month ( Power, Internet and Gas) and Water is every 3 months (usually around $50).
