My home is cosy, peaceful and has nice bright living spaces. It's a 5 minute walk to tram or bus interchange, 10 min walk to train (30 mins to city centre by any method). It's a 5-10 min walk to all major supermarkets, banks, k-mart, restaurants, cafes, post office, etc. The house has all gas appliances, a small kitchen, dishwasher, good shower, bath, laundry, WiFi broadband (an even share is 125 GB/month each) and a private sunny courtyard. It has gas heating but does not have cooling or a clothes dryer. Bills are currently averaging $22 per week per person with two people. You can opt-out of the Internet if you wish, which is approximately one third of the bills. The actual bills to be higher over winter, because this figure is from summer and does not include heating. I'm open to sharing the heating costs proportionally to how often each of us is home on average. The available bedroom is bright, with decent sized windows facing westward onto the street. It has window blinds and a good sized built-in wardrobe. I have a bunch of mix & match furniture you can optionally use, including a queen bed ensemble, 2 bedside drawers, a small desk, some stools and an armchair. You'd probably want some additional shelving, as the wardrobe has just 1 shelf across the top.

We are on a quiet street close to the mooney valley racecourse which is good for when they have firework displays. We already have a kitten named oscar and the yard is not suitable for dogs. This is a quiet house in a quiet residential street so it is really good for students who want to study (or sleep) in an undisturbed comfortable environment with two other helpful, easy-to-get-on-with international students. Ducted gas heating keeps things warm in the cooler months. A big TV is always there in the lounge room to scramble your brain when you need a break from thinking or contacting your friends. Or you can lean over the north-facing deck railing, soak up some sun and wonder how your family are doing without you. We are about 15 - 20 minutes by bus or tram from Melb Univ and a few minutes more from RMIT City Campus. Shops, cafes, etc. are accessible on foot or tram. There are only two rules that really matter :- First, don't burn the place down, so no naked flames e.g. candles, incense burners, please. Second, try not to keep other people awake, so let's keep the noise down if possible. My three super students get the run of the ground floor - it just needs one more to make up the set again. Several students from this street go to school by bicycle in the good weather. There are a couple of bike tracks in to town from here. In a quiet side street but within walking distance to multiple shopping complexes, tram station and tram route. It takes ~20 minutes to get into the city from here (by train). House has thick concrete walls and stays cool in the summer, the bedrooms are not adjacent so you cant really hear the other person at all.
