About the property

This cute but large Moonee Ponds townhouse is just minutes away from the Maribyrnong River for walks, runs, rides and picnics. Just a 15 minute walk from the station and Puckle St or jump on the bus for three minutes. The 82 and 57 trams are just around the corner and Highpoint is 10 minutes up the road.

It’s got three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and on street (no permit) parking. Also more than happy for you to use the garage when I’m not there. There's a large outdoor space.

The upstairs bedroom, complete with full ensuite with a super deep bath, has a wardrobe and split-system aircon.

Downstairs is another full bathroom.

On ground level is the living space, an open plan kitchen / living, a full bathroom and a study / guest bedroom. I have just about everything you could need in the kitchen (inc dishwasher) and there is a large gas stove and oven.

There’s a fairly big backyard and a laundry in the garage (washing machine and dryer is there already!). The neighbours are lovely and there’s a security alarm.

Looking for $450 a week plus bills and someone who’s willing to sign a six month flatmate agreement (with the intention of at least 12 months but a way out for both of us if it’s not working out). For shorter term stays rent is $600 a week.

Room is available from the end of April (my current housemate is moving to the UK).

I probably won't reply if you don't have an active listing or a photo with it - trying to steer clear of scammers! Sorry!

About the flatmates

A bit about me.

I’m in my early 30s, single and a working professional woman in Geelong but don’t want to give up my Melbourne lifestyle so live between the two. You’ll have the house to yourself most of the week. Also gives you somewhere to come stay in Geelong if you want a weekend away!

I co-own a beautiful Groodle named Molly with my parents so she comes to visit sometimes.

When I’m home I like to be social in that I’ll have chats with housemates (or we can set aside a show to watch together - true crime anyone?). Love to host a dinner party but actually do so very rarely - maybe we could host together occasionally? Also love a games night or sharing a wine.

I’ve lived in a two/three bedroom apartment since moving out of home, becoming good friends with almost all of the flatmates I’ve shared it with. I love TV nights with flatmates, particularly when we don’t even end up watching TV because we’re too busy chatting - but also understand everyone needs time to unwind alone sometimes. Also love game and puzzle nights - with a wine of course!

I’m pretty clean and tidy - looking for someone similar.

A bit about you.
Looking for someone ideally in their 30s with a steady job. You’d need to furnish the bedroom yourself but the rest of the home is furnished. Hopefully you’re someone who is fun, clean and tidy but getting to that age where you want your own space while still being open to chatting when I’m home.

Let me know if this sounds like the place for you. I’m happy to show you around!
