Furnished room in a share house

Moonee Ponds, Melbourne

Furnished room in a share house

Our home is tidy and spacious with a shared living area, large kitchen with separate dining area, and very large garden. Outdoors there is a shed for our bikes, an outdoor laundry with washing machine and hills hoist, and an adjacent second toilet. There are small verandah areas for relaxing in the sun or in the shade. We have five fruit trees, and lots of herbs, flowers and succulents. If you love gardening, you'll love our home. We are in a quiet street, the neighbors are quiet and private but friendly. The room can come furnished with a single bed and is large and spacious We like to cook and chat when we are all together, but all pretty busy both socially and with work, and like our private times too. A weekend get-together for dinner is often sought after, if not always possible. We are fairly relaxed about living, sharing cleaning and gardening duties, costs for kitty, bills and garden supplies in addition to our rent. Because our house is lovely and ancient, our landlord has required are larger bond from us. So bond is higher than rent. Housemates Early 20's Colombian female - very easy going and have been in Australia for 2 years. I enjoy going for a swim, explore Melbourne and being with my friends. My ideal housemate is someone who is friendly and keen to collaborate with us in order to keep the 'home' feeling of this house as we share and also look after each other. It's a boost if you like gardening or cooking. Late 20's Mexican female - the happiest girl you can ever find, a people-person, easy going, spicy food lover. Enjoys listening to music around the house: while doing dishes, in the shower, when she is stressed... She works in childcare, retail and it is almost done with her second degree too! You don't see her often, but when you do, it's a blast! A 20's local female, medical researcher. Likes to read and watch shows while at home. Looking for someone who is clean and considerate and up for occasional chats. We are a chill house and not a party house. We have a big garden so gardening skills are a bonus! Me. 40's male, board game nerd, retail, warehouse and coffee worker, my jobs are quite social, so at home I like to keep to myself a bit to recharge. Love social times with friends and housemates, enjoy a fancy beer or wine, good food, garden fresh.

This is a old charming corner house with a huge garden with fruits and flowers. The best thing that the house offers apart from the confortable size of the rooms is the closeness to the Maryryrong River which is just 250 meters away and is just beautiful. The garden is big ad I would really like to grow vegetables and herbs. The public transportations close just 9 blocks to the subway of monee ponds and 900 Mts to the 57 tram in the Marybyrong river bridge
