Helloo I have a room available in Ascot Vale available for a short sublet from 1st September until 5th December. It’s a 5 min walk to 82 & 57 trams and a 10-15min walk to Ascot Vale station (which is then about 15 min to the city). I am going away and coming back. You’d be just living with Dean and he's cool with any age, any gender, any background ect. Sorry no cats or dogs, as I have a cat who’s pretty territorial with other cats and is scared of dogs. Rent is per week, but you can pay monthly if you like. Single is 115pw + bills and for couples it’s $220pw + bills. Bond is $200. Oh yeah and unlimited internet is $65 a month divided by how many people live in the house. Welcome to come check out the place any time after Thursday! P.s. Vegetarians will get preference sorry Thanks :)
Currently one room is taken. The house is right around the corner from the Melbourne Showgrounds and is close to the Flemington racecourse. There is a train station (Ascot Vale, Craigieburn Line) which is around a 12 minute walk away which gets you into the city in 9 minutes. Alternatively you can catch tram number 57 which gets you into Melbourne Central in 35 minutes, the stop is only a 5 minute walk. All bills included in the price, garage parking is optional and is an extra $10 a week
Lovely 3 bedroom home in Ascot Vale. Californian Bungalow style house with high ceilings, gas central heating throughout, air con in living/dining area, large garden space in leafy street. Wall to wall carpets with linoleum in wet areas. Picture rails in bedrooms, hall way, living and dining areas. Space to sit outside at front and back of house. We have living room furniture including TV, dining table, microwave, one small fridge (an additional will be needed to feed 3), and Bosch washing machine. We can swap stuff around a bit if your stuff is better :D Any prospective housemate can store their surplus goods and bicycle in the lockable garage. The kitchen is on the cosy side but has lots of natural light. We do not have a dishwasher however there is reasonable cupboard space, different height bench tops - marble bench is great for kneading dough - and a sweet walk in pantry. A gardener comes to do heavy pruning twice a year, dude with whipper snipper mows the lawn about once a month - the rest is up to us. We have a lemon, a lime and an apricot tree (AMAZING fruit). A great place for a green thumb looking to grow herbs/vegies in pots although this is certainly not compulsory. Assistance with general watering in Summer and sweeping in Autumn in particular is expected. Garage, under house, linen cupboards and pantry storage spaces. Small workshop area under house with work bench. A super short walk (5 minutes) to the 59 tram into the city, or walk a bit further to Ascot Vale train station. Cycle down hill to Moonee Ponds bike track. There are peak hour bike lanes along Mt Alexander Road. Close to Ormond Road buses to Brunswick. Just past the nearest tramstop is the Ascot Lot food truck park! Opposite that is Cheaper Buy Miles discount groceries, and a bit further but still walking distance is Dan Murphies. Close to Moonee Ponds shopping precinct (15 minute walk). All bills are shared equal thirds with payment made directly to biller. On time discount available for energy providers. We have solar power credited back to our power bills, so daytime energy is as free as sunlight! Rent is paid directly to agent. Wireless household internet, unlimited GB, is paid monthly, in equal thirds to Patricia's account. We save the receipts and split evenly the cost of cleaning products (Earth Choice all the way!), toilet paper (plus tissues & paper towel) online from 'Who Gives a Crap', and any other household communal products.
Your potential new home is a lovely old double-fronted Victorian built in the early 1900's. There's a decently sized backyard to relax in and on-street parking is always available (permit-free). The house is a 5 minute walk to Ascot Vale train station, and trains are 10-15 minutes to the city, coming every 5-9 minutes during peak hour. There's also gas heating and air conditioning throughout the house. Ascot Vale is a pretty quiet suburb, yet is still really close to the city. Supermarkets are within walking distance (Coles on Epsom Road or Newmarket Woolies) as is Dan Murphy's on Mount Alexander Road. The room available is in rear of the house and has a north facing window. The room measures about 3.1 x 2.7 metres. It is a smaller side of the scale, reflected in the lower price. It can fit a queen bed and a clothes horse, which is the current setup, but you can make use of it however you like. We have all common area stuff covered, so things like a TV, couches, dining table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, cutlery, plates etc. are all here and available for you to use. You'll just need to furnish your own room, though this is negotiable as the person moving out can sell you all his stuff if you require it. Cost breakdown / Bills: - Rent is due monthly on the same date of each month based off the first date you move in, so, e.g. August 30th, September 30th etc. - $765 per calendar month. - Bond is 1 month of rent paid in advance. - 6 month minimum stay. - 4 weeks notice of vacating required. - Internet (unlimited), water, electricity and gas bills are split equally. These fluctuate seasonally but have generally been on average around the $20/week mark.
Unfurnished room for rent in a 2 bedroom unit in Essendon. I recently moved from Brunswick to Essendon so I could have more space. The unit is large and has 2 bedrooms as well as a big outdoor area. I'd love for someone to move into the second room. The unit is in a brilliant location. cafes, parks and supermarkets are close by. There is a cafe approx 30 seconds walk which is really convenient and they do excellent coffee. the train station is a 15min walk and tram a 5 min walk. Moonee Ponds and Brunswick are both 5 min drives and the city is a 20min drive. There are also gyms around the area and citylink is just around the corner. The unit itself is large, featuring 2 bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet, lounge, kitchen, dining area, laundry and a large outdoor area. Part of the outdoor area is paved and I plan to get a bbq and outdoor setting (unless you have one???). The rest of the area is grass and it circles around the back of the unit. There is off street parking for 2 cars. At night, it's very quiet and peaceful as the unit is set back from the street. I rent this unit and the landlord is incredible. She is really friendly and fixes any problems immediately (I'm talking same day here which in the rental world is unheard of!). I have furnished the whole house except the second bedroom (and bbq and outdoor setting). The room would fit a double bed and there is a built in robe. I am very happy to help you source furniture if needed.
I am going overseas so I am looking for someone to takeover my room in this lovely house. You will have you own room on the second floor, one big wardrobe and room is fully furnished. (Although I am selling all my furnitures for cheap 45$ for everything.) We have a big garage that can have two cars park on the property, plus garden, two fruit trees plus two herbs plants One shared Bathroom with a toilet upstairs, and one addition toilet downstairs. 13 min walk to coles, 9 min walk to the train station. 25-35 min on public transport to the CBD. There are woolies, Maccas, KFC, Dominos and more pubs and restaurants in about 10-20 min walk. It is also close to the Flemington Racecourse, fancy fancy. Shot me a msg or text or give me a call for house inspection. X
Hi. Let me tell you about my home! Public transport is all within walking distance, although there is off street parking available if you have a car. This is important as being close to the showgrounds and Flemington racecourse, street parking is permit only. There are 2 neighbourhood shopping centres within walking distance and the tram will take you to Ascot Vale village shopping and Highpoint Shopping Centre. It's a large flat and while you'll have the smaller room, you'll have the bigger cupboard and window! I'm also on the ground floor, so you don't have to carry stuff up stairs! There's also a laundry in the bathroom which you can use. I've lived in this flat for going on 3 years now and I love living in this area. Flemington is very socially and culturally diverse, as well as architecturally.
Hey guys! Unfortunately, we are losing one of our housemates to the East, so we're in need of a replacement. You'll need to do a lease transfer from said roommate, and we have 6 months left on the lease. It's an old house on a quiet street, with renovated bathroom and kitchen. High ceilings throughout and huge windows at the front of the house (your room!) that lets in beautiful light. We have one bathroom and a second toilet seperate so it's no problem to share between 3/4 people (I also shower at work 5/6 days a week, as I'm a swim teacher so you're essentially sharing with one other) We have a spacious backyard, perfect for sunning yourself and relaxing. The room itself, is huge! Comes unfurnished but the rest of the house is furnished so no problem if you don't have anything to contribute. We are 100 metres from the Showgrounds complex, with Coles, chemists, doctors clinic, restaurants, first choice liquor and more! 100 metres from the tram stop which goes to multiple train stations or it's only a 12-15 minute walk to Newmarket or Ascot Vale station. 20 minutes to the city or 30 on the tram if you don't want to get the train. Ascot Vale is a dream to live in for all your brunching/dining out needs. Union Rd shops a short walk and plenty of parks around too. PETS - I have a dog that occasionally visits so you must like doggos. We'd consider cats, but unfortunately can't accept dogs as our real estate don't allow them permanently. COST - $1050/month for a single, 1250/month for a couple
Huge sunny room available in Ascot Vale Looking for a single ($1050/month) or a couple ($1250) to fill the large room in our sharehouse. This is the largest room in the house, located at the front, that gets great amounts of sun filtering through. Prime location in Ascot vale. The house is 100m away from a tram stop that takes you past two train stations, Newmarket and Flemington Bridge or directly into the city. Coles Village showgrounds and other shops are 200m away. A 15 min walk in either direction can take you to some great cafes and restaurants. The house itself is all furnished bar the room available. There is a large backyard with a long driveway, so car spaces are available. Pets will be considered.
Large, clean, fully furnished room available in a friendly household in Brunswick West area; Close to public transport (tram No. 58 & No. 59) and the city. $180 per week, share all utility bills, NBN wifi internet access. Hi Guys You have a dog! Great! Our light filled Essendon house is looking for a super terrific person-dog team to join us. Our hilarious housemate Leah is skipping the country (really moving to London after a family crisis) and so we need to replace her and her pooch. It’s a 4 bedroom place (for 4 people) and will also have my Toby dog who will be in need of a friend. Looking maybe for a guy just to have a bit of balance, but open to the best fit. Sorry no couples though. Or cats. Also if you don't have a dog...you could still be awesome. I've been here for a bit. Kate and Felicity are new. We would love to find someone who loves dogs, and ideally be late 20’s to late 30’s+. We're pretty friendly, enjoy occasional drink and chats, so want new peeps that feel the same way. Looking for someone who wants to make the place a home, enjoys open communication, and also (and I know it's obvious but just saying) be clean, responsible, respectful etc... It would be great for you to want to go on the lease (hint, hint). The house and room: The room is at the front and is 4x4.5, no wardrobe but heaps of space for one and probably a desk too. The house has wood floors, high ceilings, double brick (good insulation esp in summer), hydronic central heating, a couple of extra shared spaces for extra living or creativity. There's room for two cars in the driveway, plus the hot water is gas so you always get a hot shower. Yay! We're close to Glenbervie station on the Craigeburn line; bus stops; a little walk to #59 tram; shops and cafes. The backyard is pretty big and has yummy fruit trees. The house feels large and like a lot of Melbourne places are partly redone and partly old. We have all the furniture/whitegoods but there is some space for new. Our lease started in February and someone who wants to stay till the end would suit us best. The realestate is keen to keep tenants in. We have unlimited internet, and bills are reasonable. The bond is a months rent.
