My current housemates have just bought their first home and are moving out so I need a new housemate/s! Couples are more than welcome. Bonus if you have living room furniture, fridge and washing machine as the apartment will be pretty bare as my current housemates will be taking everything with them.
Large 4 bedroom house with a big backyard. All the rooms are quite large. Looking to have to bedrooms filled and keep one as a spare for use of all the occupies. My last housemates have just moved out due to one moving in with his partner and the other one getting married. Great location, feels like the burbs but a short stroll to the action so best of both worlds. Look forward to hearing from you.
A cute old house with modern essentials, this house is the best of both worlds and an ideal sharehouse with plenty of space. It is simple, charming and clean, fit with heating and air-conditioning, fully functional essentials; kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, fridge etc. We have a lovely outside living area that gets heaps of sunshine in the day and fairy-lights by night which is great for entertaining or just chillin'. Our neighbors are sweeties and sometimes bring biscotti! We are located in an ideal spot less than 10 mins to all the small shop joys of union road also very close to Puckle St and Moonee Ponds central for big shops. We have cafe with very good coffee and food one block away. Only one min to the 57 Tram and about 10 to Ascotvale train station, so it's very easy to get to the city or Highpoint shopping centre.
This house is in a ripper location, I cannot rave on enough about it. From where we are living, it is only a short bus ride to Brunswick, quick tram ride to the city and is extremely close to other awesome suburbs like Flemington. Moonee Ponds itself is a charming and safe neighbourhood surrounded by lovely parks and an outdoor swimming pool is located nearby, which is perfect for summer in Melbourne. There are also so many shops within walking distance from the house, including Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Kmart etc. Not to mention good shopping, yum restaurants and cafe's along Puckle Street. Everything you need is so easy to access, there is no need to venture out of Moonee Ponds. Wilson street is very quiet and peaceful, which enables you have a good night sleep. It's a super easy and relaxing lifestyle in Moonee Ponds, however you're not too far away from the action and buzz either, with reliable public transport taking you anywhere you need to go. The room I am subletting is so cute and homely. I will be sure to leave it in a colourful and vibrant state due to the many posters I have hanging on the wall (if too much, feel free to take them down). I encourage you to make yourself right at home and decorate the room however you like. The space has everything you need, such as a bed, bedside table, cabinet with storage space, even an easel to hang extra clothes on. Though the room may be smaller than average, it is more spacious than it looks. In my opinion, it's all you need and is a cosy space to spend time in. There is a nice window, that will be great during the summer for letting cool air in.

All are welcome, as long as you're respectful, tidy and considerate. :) House is only available to inspect from the 19th of November. Thanks :)
Hi all, I've recently moved into a property in Moonee Ponds and I'm looking for one other housemate to share the house with. It's a large and comfortable 2 bedroom unit in Moonee Ponds, closer to the Aberfeldie side near the river. It has: built in wardrobes, carpet, air con in living room, ducted heating, roller blinds, separate shower and bath, courtyard, lock up garage and off street parking. The house is fully furnished except for your bedroom. I also have my dog staying with me sometimes. He's a beautiful staffy rescue who is very sweet and chill. Unfortunately this means no other pets are able to come along, as he is a one-man band. I'm looking for someone like-minded to live with me - I'm a 30 yr old marketing professional who loves doggies, heads to the gym after work, hangs out with family and friends in my spare time. I want to find someone who is friendly and likes being social with their housemate. I like to strike a balance between hanging out and solo downtime. I would prefer a female although not a dealbreaker. I am also a vego but i dont expect you to be. Bond is $900 and rent is $205 a week. Bills split evenly. Cheers, Ivana

Looking for a housemate to rent a room in my fully renovated Edwardian brick home in trendy Ascot Vale. Beautifully renovated 3 bedroom house with large modern kitchen/living/dining area that leads onto a reasonably sized deck/entertaining area equipped with built-in bench seats, outdoor dining, TV and bar fridges. 3rd bedroom will remain empty and can be used as a spare or can be converted into a 2nd lounge for privacy. Bedrooms are carpeted carpet while remainder of house is finished with original baltic pine floorboards. House boasts high ceilings throughout, ducted heating, gas-log fireplace in living, split system air-cons (x2) and wood fireplace in 3rd bedroom/2nd lounge. House is owner occupied by me; a 40yo male working full time. I also coach football (the world game variety) so I'm rarely home. I am very clean, like to keep my home presentable both inside and out, own a dog (3.5 year old American Staffy Billie), love my sport, love music and going to gigs. I'm fairly social but also like to chill at home at times listening to some tunes or watching a movie or some sport. My dog mainly sleeps outside overnight but I allow him inside when I'm home or when the weather is dreadful so you must be cool with that. I'm looking for a house mate that will respect my home, will maintain its cleanliness, likes dogs, is courteous & is happy to have a chat & an occasional drink together. However, we don't need to be best mates as I do like to chill alone at times & I respect people's privacy & personal life. It goes without saying that we need to get along! Cost is $275 per week inclusive of all bills and entertainment (utilities, unlimited wifi, netflix, foxtel, optus sport). Large furnished bedroom on offer (you can also bring your own furniture as I can just move mine into the 3rd bedroom). House is 50m from Ascot Vale train station & local buses. Also close to Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne Showgrounds & Moonee Valley Racecourse. Parking is on-street and comes with a parking permit if you own a vehicle. Short-medium term stays also accepted. Prices as follows: 1-7 nights = $60 per night 8-28 nights = $50 per night *4+ weeks = $275 per week (this price based on 1 person; cost will remain $50 per night for couples staying longer than 4 weeks) Room is available immediately. Call/text/email me for enquiries & to arrange an inspection. Thanks Tomi

Hi :) We have a room available on the 10th of November (earlier date could possibly be arranged). The house is an old terrace with quite a bit of character, it’s also really well located outside a tram stop on the 59 and 10 minutes walk from Ascot Vale and Flemington Bridge stations. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 1 down. The room available is on the ground floor and is a private room and also has private front access (it’s the original living room) it has a lockable door, and split system so you don’t freeze in winter, but the room is beautifully cool in the summer months 🙂 The house also has a bathroom, kitchen and laundry and sizeable backyard. You’ll be living with myself and another housemate and we’re looking to live with someone of a similar age that is responsible and can pay bills/rent on time and is happy to share cleaning responsibilities. We’re pretty quiet so it’s not a party house. We also have a pet turtle, 2 guinea pigs and a bunch of fish. The rent is $782 per month and the bond is $730. We split all bills evenly (as we all have the same size rooms) bills are water, electricity and internet. If you’re interested and want to come and meet us and see the room send me a message :)
Hello! We are looking for a new housemate to rent the third bedroom in our Flower St home as (very sadly) I’m moving out to live closer to my new job! We're looking for one single female (no couples, sorry), non-smoking, mid 20s to late 30s. You must love dogs, be very clean and tidy and have a friendly personality! Budding green thumbs very welcome as we have a lovely courtyard garden. We are looking for people who are willing to commit to staying at least 3 months, ideally longer. LGBTIQA friendly. We live in a light-filled, spacious, 3 bedroom/1 bathroom unit in Brunswick West, off Albion St, that backs directly onto Moonee Ponds Creek. There is unlimited free street parking available. The house is fully equipped with all you could need, so would probably best suit someone without too much stuff. We do have a garage though that we use to keep bicycles and gardening stuff in that can fit some extra boxes etc if need be. The rent is $1020/month/room and the bond is the same. Rent is payable monthly and I would require a month’s rent and the bond upfront. Rent INCLUDES all gas, water and electricity and unlimited internet. The room itself is 3.1 x 3.0m. It comes partly furnished with a double bed, bedside table and lamp, and has a built in robe and aircon. It looks out onto the large rear private courtyard/garden and has lovely natural light.

Furniture available if needed: Couch
This is my home and is treated as a sanctuary where you can feel safe and your belongings secure in a very clean and tidy spacious environment with 1 other person. It is a larger older style 2 storey townhouse with private courtyard and access to a common recreational BBQ area. If you are allergic to a cat and a few rules this won't be for you. Public transport is at the door and only 5 stops to city by train and 35 mins to Melbourne Uni by tram. Your room is clean and light and has double wardrobe with mirror. Centrally heated and A/C , ceiling fan. Your bathroom is the main bath so will only be shared if their is a guest staying ( very occasionally).
Large, unfurnished room (12.5m2) available immediately. Bond is $710 (approximately 3.5 weeks rent). We're hoping to find someone looking for long-term accomodation, as our landlord requests all tenants be added to the lease. House is a cosy, renovated weatherboard with a large backyard that could use some green thumbs. Sunny living room and large kitchen. Laundry has a washing machine. Bathroom is shared, but we like to keep it clean. We have a shed in the back yard that can be locked and is good if you need to store things away. We are a fully furnished house, but if you have furniture of your own, we can try to accomodate. We have a beautiful staffy, so loving animals, especially dogs is a must! Unfortunately, no other pets can be allowed as our dog is not tolerant of other animals. We split all bills evenly. Approximate costs (divided by 3) below: Internet- $26.67 p/month Electricity- usually between $20-30 (every 2 months) Gas- varies depending on season, but on average $35 (quarterly) Water- on average $30 (quarterly) Jim's Lawn Mowing- $16 p/month Netflix is free! :) Off-street and street parking available. Between Moonee Ponds Tram (57, 59, 82) and bus station and Grantham St, Brunswick tram line (58) both a 15 minute walk or 3-5 minute drive.
