This humble little unit has recently had a bit of a face lift with freshly painted walls and new carpet laid. The hot water system was replaced at the beginning of 2017 so you don't have to worry about hot water! There is plenty of natural light and air movement with large windows in both bedrooms and the living area - though all are fitted with roller blinds should you want some privacy and/or darkened rooms. The bathroom is fitted with a shower only, with washing machine facilities also located in the bathroom. Out the back is a small cement courtyard with a washing line and out the front the garden beds have been pebbled over so there is no garden to maintain. You will have access to an undercover carport with plenty of other on street parking available. One of the friendly tenants in the building kindly takes out and brings in all the bins which means you'll never forget bin night! Best of all is its location! It is only 400m from the beautiful Mordialloc Beach (1.2km from the Pier), and an equal 1km from both Parkdale & Mordialloc train stations & shops! Between the two shopping strips, everything you could ever need is right on your doorstep from a supermarket, brunch spots, dinner of every cuisine, take-away joints, a bottle-o, somewhere to have a cheeky drink and froyo! If you need some retail therapy, Southland shopping centre, DFO Moorabbin and Costco are only a 10minute drive away. You are a half hour drive from the Mornington Peninsula and 45minutes to the City, or you can jump on a train and be in the city in under an hour (approx 45-50minutes)! You really have the best of every world! The house comes furnished, with the option of having your room unfurnished. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics - large fridge, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils. There are currently 2 lounges though I am trying to get rid of one as the lounge room is only small. As is the TV, so should you have a TV you'd like to bring to the household feel free! There isn't home internet connection as I pay a fortune for a large data plan on my phone. Payment of utilities will be agreed on prior to you moving in. Move in date is flexible any time before Christmas/New Year or after the silly season if that suits better. The house is located on a quite street 5 minute walk to Parkdale station and surrounding shops, 15 minute walk to the beach. Car port, small drive and street parking. The room has a bed already in it but can remove if needed. House is relatively old, hard wood floors. Ducted gas heating, air-con in the living room, great shower and reasonable sized kitchen and laundry room. House is furnished but welcome to add to it if you want. I’m quite, clean and respectful hoping for someone with similar etiquette.
