Summer is here, what a great spot! We own a large (45-ish sq), well-appointed, modern 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, split level home (4 levels) in a very lovely part of Mt. Martha, so plenty of room to move. Available for rent to the right person is one fully furnished bedroom, fitted with TV/DVD, large double wardrobe, queen bed, with French doors opening to deck and garden (which can be used as your own entrance if you wish). This bedroom is downstairs and is opposite a bathroom/toilet which you will share with one other female Flatmate. This bedroom opens to a common area with a Pool table, sofa. A basic kitchenette with MW, Pantry with bar fridge for convenience is in this area to use but full kitchen is available for shared use in main house. We are positioned in a suburban spot which has a rural feel, it is a quiet location with lovely walks. We are a 2 minute drive/20 min walk to Mt. Martha South beach and village shops and public transport. Off-street parking is available, one space per bedroom. We have a large beautiful garden which surrounds the house offering several pleasant sitting and entertaining areas, barbeque, a vegetable garden, 1 dog, 2 cats and 2 chooks (so, unfortunately, cannot accommodate your beloved pets). One of the Flatmate's kindly maintains basic garden requirements and lawn mowing on a fortnightly cycle. A cleaner is also employed one day per month to keep common areas and bathrooms (not bedrooms) fresh and up to date, however, it is totally expected you will clean in between her visits. Shared access to large well equipped modern kitchen with Caesar stone benchtops, DW, modern appliance's/crockery are supplied for you to whip up anything from a nibble platter or an afternoon tea to a dinner party and is situated in main part of house, a large fridge for Flatmate use is provided in this kitchen which is separate to the family fridge. There is also a large bright laundry with dryer and acces to te clothesline. Living areas being the main lounge/dining area situated off kitchen then a few steps down to a family room which also has a large TV with Foxtel (basic package provided free of charge). The family room has double glass sliding doors to close off if required. So there are plenty of spots to sit and relax. French doors and /or sliding doors are fitted in each room of house, so you can open up and wander out to deck and garden from every room…….. lovely! Downstairs at back of home is the pool table for all to enjoy. Daikin reverse cycle air-con systems throughout the house and "Heat and Glo" fire in lounge area adds a cosy feel. Bedrooms are a generous size all with double sized wardrobes and carpeted. Modern bathrooms have tiled floors and the rest of the home has beautiful timber flooring. The main bathroom has a spa bath so you may like to relax and take a long bubbly soak when the need arises. There is also a separate powder room next to this bathroom. We are house proud people and love sharing with those who would appreciate our home as we do. Looking for a friendly, very clean, neat and tidy, sociable, easy going, trustworthy and responsible person. A few house rules to observe to ensure the smooth running of the household, mostly about being respectful of others and areas shared, some cleaning duties expected as per the norm. We encourage communication to keep the balance. It's a big house nice and close to Frankston beach and Bayside Shopping Centre (5 mins) with a bus stop 30 seconds up the road to get you either down the Peninsula or into Frankston. There's parking space available behind closed gates, a nice pool for summer, and garage for storage of anything you don't want taking up space inside the house. The room is upstairs with a very large shared bathroom. Kitchen, living (there's two large living areas) and outdoor areas are all communal and a mostly used for drinking/board game nights or the occasional group Netflix binge or gaming session. Only room that you need to furnish is the bedroom, and there's also office space available for a desk if needed. The room is hard to take photos of but I've included a few with previous housemates belongings to try and show how much fits in there. The bed pictured is a double size, and the wardrobe with mirrored doors is built in with hanging space.
