It’s less than 10 minutes’ walk to the train and bus station with Cannon Hill Shopping Centre just around the corner. The Room: The bedroom has plenty of space for a queen sized bed along with a wardrobe, then some. There is also a smaller adjacent room which would be yours to use as a study, dressing room or whatever you like :). There is also a private, fully enclosed garage for your car. The House: Is a medium sized Queensland cottage, with great wooden floors, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and two smaller study sized rooms, with air-conditioning throughout. There would be two of us in the house, so the place should never feel crowded and there will always be plenty of space to have some time to yourself. Along with the outdoor entertaining area, there is a large front yard, 2 carports plus a big ol’ shed where you can store any of your extra gear you may have. The Details: The rate is $170/week. With all bills separate to the rent. Bond is two weeks rent because, lets face it, four weeks is expensive. I will be following the flatmates common law agreement and I won’t need to submit your details to a real estate agency. Looking for someone who is keen to settle in for 6 – 12 months. The Flatmate: Planning to move in early May and it would be great to get someone who feels like a friend. Cannon Hill QLD The apartment: The apartment is very modern with large indoor and outdoor living areas, rainshowers in the bathrooms and speakers on the roof. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes with sliding doors and one also has an en suite attached. There is air-conditioning, dishwasher, clothes dryer, washing machine, microwave and fridge here. Other things you should know: -The building allows pets, but I already have a bird so you would only be able to bring in another bird. -I am flexible about which room I'm in. One has air-conditioning and an en suite and a larger windows than the other. Both have fans. If you wanted the room without the air con, I do have a spare heater that you can plug into a powerpoint -you will need to submit a rental application and have your name on the 6 month lease. Bond is $400. -you will also need to bring your own bed -a lot of the furniture belongs to the current house mate so I will be taking a trip to Ikea and replacing this. We are close to the train station and bus stop, ferries not far away, a vibrant busy area with plenty of take away shops and cinemas. Only 15 minutes from Brisbane CBD. Quiet area plenty of neighbours around for security, but they are not nosy.

The only real rules are to keep the house tidy and clean, no smoking, lock up when you leave, and turn all lights/air con off when you leave the house - nothing too over the top I think.
