Very quiet and safe/peaceful suburb in Adelaide with a number of high schools nearby. Mitcham shopping centre is 10 minute walk, Adelaide University Waite campus is 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive from the house. Bus stop 13 with 172/171 buses (3 minute walk) There is a footy oval and tennis courts nearby. Suitable for University students (especially from Waite Campus) Internet, Water and furniture all included, but electricity bill is separate I work and study masters at uni and I live with my brother who also study at uni full time.

the house and garden are beautiful and recently painted and carpeted. the outdoor area is really lovely and we are so close to the city (Ally walks to work each day) we are two great housemates and one sausage dog....I don't really know what more you could want ;) The room up for rent doesn't have windows but has a skylight which is why it is cheaper, It gets plenty of light and is a good size room.

Heeeeey we're seeking a housemate to move in starting 20 March 2017 (can be flexible to move in earlier or later if it suits). It's a 3 bedroom 1880s blue stone cottage located between Hutt Street and the Victoria Racecourse in the South East corner of the city. Very short walk to the Hutt Street precinct (includes supermarkets, coffee shops etc.) and a 15 minute walk to Rundle Street. There's a free loop bus that drops you to the doorstep of most major city destinations (Rundle Mall, Central Markets etc) too... super handy! The house has real character - high ceilings, wooden floorboards, retro kitchen, open living areas as well as a large backyard. Everything except the bedroom is fully furnished. Other perks include ducted air conditioning for summer (which has vents into the bedrooms), gas heater in the winter and a woodfire pizza oven. Now we get to the even better bit - the pretty rad housemates you could be living with! I'm a bit of a drifter as I work 3 days a week at a radio station in Horsham but am around most weekends. Fantastic location in the south side of the city. It is a quaint old blue stone cottage. feels very spacious - with large bedrooms and an open plan living/kitchen/courtyard space. The street is quiet and safe and there are a bunch of friendly neighbours on the street. The parklands are a stones throw away and provide excellent lifestyle opportunities! The CBD is a 10 minute walk away.
The bedroom is furnished (can be emptied if needed) and it has built-in robes, a split system AC and a balcony. there is a shared main bathroom and w.c upstairs. Downstairs Is fully furnished, kitchen, open lounge to dining. Downstairs also has reverse cycle air, 2nd w.c., full size laundry and carport with access from a side street. The downstairs TV is connected to a computer to watch movies/tv shows at our leisure. Outside is basic with a table with seating and a clothesline. There is also off-street car park that usually free. unsure about pets but can be discussed. The townhouse is about a 7 min walk to the parade, with local pubs, supermarkets, public transport, restaurants are very close! its a great area and i don't plan on moving anytime soon.
