THE HOUSE The house has an art-deco style with tall ceilings, large living spaces, a cool kitchen, carpets and polished floor-boards, air-con and gas. There is a large lounge room, large kitchen, large bathroom, 3 bedrooms (2 large with adjoining studies), 2 toilets (you have your own), gym, balcony, garage and a storage room. Each of us have our own large living areas so personal space and privacy is easy to find (we hardly see each other, haha), plus we're busy with work and study so you’ll often have the house to yourself anyway. We’re well situated at 55 Stirling Hwy between UWA and the Captain Stirling. Supermarket, chemist, bakery, and takeaway food are all within 5 minutes walk and the bus stop is 30 seconds away (City-Fremantle line, 10mins to city, 5mins to Cott, 15mins to Freo). There are a couple of small units that are a part of our building (one is empty), but our house is the main property and is almost three times the size of the units (there are two stories, we occupy almost the whole top floor). We basically never hear/see our neighbors as there is a side entry, so again, privacy is not a problem. If you smoke we have a balcony, outside only. Rent inspections are every 4-6 months and we have a good relationship with both the owner and real estate agent. Bills are extra, roughly $15 p/m for electricity, $20 for gas and $17 for internet. All-in-all, the house is relaxed and settled (not a uni-party house), but we are fine with gatherings so-long-as everyone is considerate of others. It's a lovely house with nice old features like floorboards and high ceilings. There's a spacious backyard with an undercover alfresco area which includes a BBQ, and a massive lawn which gets plenty of shade so it's perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon relaxing. The shared spaces in the house have AC and are furnished (including plenty of indoor plants), so the only thing you'd have to bring is your own gear (can discuss providing the room as furnished if needed). There are also solar panels to soak up those rays and help keep the bills down! Off-road parking available if you have a car. This charming house is located 10 minutes from the CBD and the beach! It's super close to public transport, a range of shops for lifestyle, fashion, groceries and awesome bars and eateries of course! "Riverview Gardens," is an awesome place to live! I've been here for a year and a half now in this sleepy little flat. There is a pool that is open for summer months and it is in walking distance to both the Claremont and Swanbourne train station. There is private, locked parking and the flat is secured with a swipe key to get in the main foyer. Claremont Quarter is just a stones throw away which makes running down to grab a bottle of red very convenient!
