Our apartment is close to Cottesloe Beach (10min by car), there is a cute little cinema nearby and it's close to 2 supermarkets and a gas station. The rosegarden on opposite of the house is a great place to relax. Also there is a busstop in front of the house, it takes around 25-30min to go to the city by bus.

We are looking for another fantastic roomie to come join our sharehouse on Winthrop Avenue in Nedlands. Located smack bang between the new children's hostipal and UWA, and directly across the road from Kings Park, our location is a massive plus! Shops, cafes, pubs and resturants along Hampden Road through to Broadway Street are just a two minute stroll from us and the Swan River is only a five minute walk via the UWA grounds. The best thing about our house is the people. Current residents are aged between 26 and 30. We're all very busy with full time work and study on the side, which means often we'll go periods of time without seeing one another. However we are a sociable bunch that likes to hang out when we can on weekends. The house itself is a lovely old turn of the century Nedlands place that's a bit worn around the edges. We nevertheless like to keep the house well tidied and livable. The specs are 4 bedroom, single bathroom, single toilet, kitchen, dining room, living room, garage, shed, outdoor laundry and a small back yard. The WHITEHOUSE was fittingly named after our beloved house pet George Washington (its a peg octopus). Also the house is white. It is situated just a short little meander from UWA (15min walk), IGA (10min walk) and I guess Cap S (if you are young enough to find this enticing). If you drive, it is minutes away from these previously mentioned places and also about a 7minute drive to Claremont Quarter and 13 minutes to the beach! It is a beautiful, old style house (3x1.5) with high ceilings, massive rooms and an even more massive yard that is perfect for summer chill times. Given its an old house it gets a little chilly but nothing a woolen jumper can’t fix, other than that its really in excellent condition. Our Landlord it very reasonable and he likes us, so we have never really had a house inspection. He also helps out quite a lot in terms of taking care of our massive yard, which is handy if you struggle to keep pots plants alive like myself. And besides all these great qualities Nedlands is a brilliant place to live in general. Super leafy streets. The room: The room up for grabs is actually more like a two rooms. The first has a king size mattress (no frame) and a chest of draws. The second is a sun room with tonnes of natural light with a desk and wardrobe. We can remove all the furniture except the wardrobe if you are coming with your own stuff.

Location, location, location ... isn't that what a real estate agent would say? Close walk to UWA (less than 1km away), Matilda Bay and Kings Park. Convenient location for the avid cyclist, it's only a few quick bus stops to the city (uber/taxi less than $20), is close to QEII medical centre and conveniently located to Subiaco, Claremont, Cottesloe and Fremantle. It's also a generous size house with plenty of room for 2+ adults to move about and still have space. A renovated circa 1930's home with plenty of character and charm. It also has outdoor areas out front and back providing more personal space. While a 3 bed house I am only looking at one other person or two international students for the semester, which would then reduce the weekly rent per room/person to around $250 each. Students, mature (40+) and FIFO people welcome. While the place is fully furnished the option is there to provide an unfurnished bedroom if you want BYO bedroom. The furnished room includes a queen bed. All bills should be covered in the weekly rent, I have left it open to most bills covered should the water, power or gas bill come in over this allowance. As I am working at UWA I was looking for a cosy, big house close to uni to be able to cycle there. This place is perfect to me. I need 10 minutes to uni, 20 to the beach and 15 to the city centre (buses and the train are very close as well). My way down to uni goes through Kings Park, it cannot be nicer :) And there is the beautiful Shenton Park around the corner. The supermarket is 5 minutes walking distance away, other markets 10 minutes by bike. The house was a typical family house with all the common facilities. There is everything you need for your laundry, the kitchen has a dish washer, a TV is in the first living room. A library is in the room next to it with another adjacent area with even more couches and spare mattresses. We are four people and there are two bathrooms, each with a toilet and a shower. The room is great, big enough to fit some stuff and equipped. The wireless connection is perfect!

Our house mates have all grown up and bought their own house! So we are looking for someone / a couple to move in to this fabulous house. This home is in great location in Shenton Park. It's a 10 minute bus ride to the city and walking distance to Subiaco's best bar - Juanita's! There is a really rural and rustic charm about this home which I love.
