We are a friendly happy household, in a really convenient part of the North Shore. This place has comfortable living areas, easy access to public transport and a fab view from the balcony! Close to the city, (but not too close!) and a short walk to restaurants and bars in Crows Nest, or to Bunnings and NRMA in Artamon if that’s more your style. This building does not allow pets or smoking sorry! There is a shared laundry with the other flats on this level. Buses go from directly outside the house, and both St Leonards and Artarmon Station are within walking distance. Being on a ridge, our balcony looks out over leafy green views, and is set up with a little lounge set. We are happy to share Netflix and Stan accounts and also have a Nintendo 64 that is open for use. Please note that the Room is unfurnished, however the rest of the apartment is fully furnished. There are surpermakets & resturants & coffee shops just short stroll to Lane cove local pool & parks. Most cafes & resturants open till late. The open planned living room/kitchen is adequately furnished. There is also an off street parking suitable for a small car. You will be a 5 minutes walk to Wollstonecraft station which easily takes you to the city or along the Northern Line and Crow’s Nest is just up the hill. The room has a build in wardrobe, will fit a double/queen sized bed and is unfurnished. Rent is $310 per week plus bills ($30 internet and roughly $50 electricity and gas, monthly). I live on a quiet cul-de-sac street so there is no through traffic to disturb us. The house is set above the road and has lovely breezes. RNSH is a 10 minute walk depending on how fast or slow you go! It is a 6 minute walk to buses on the Pacific Highway and an 8 minute walk to St Leonard's Station and the shops at the forum including an IGA, gyms, yoga studios, two pharmacies, lots of cafes and a bakery. It is also an 8 minute walk through a lovely park to Wollstonecraft Station. There is plenty of unrestricted parking on the street. My home is a charming 2.5 bedroom home in classic mid-war style. It has a comfortable living room, dining room and sunroom overlooking the garden. The garden is a generous size and you are welcome to plant and grow things in it, I also have a BBQ and outdoor table and benches for you to enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with a small dishwasher and fridge and I have all necessary crockery and utensils. There is a shared bathroom with shower bath and a toilet. I enjoy beautiful art and antique furniture so the house is thoughtfully decorated, I love it and take care of it and my ideal flatmate will also be respectful of these items! I have made the decision to include some bills (gas/electricity/water/internet) because that is easier for shorter stays but the costs of dishwashing liquid, dishwasher powder, clothes washing powder and toilet paper/paper towels are shared. You must clean and air your bed room regularly, and wash your sheets and clothes yourself (there is a washing machine) and do your own washing up. I expect you to share the cleaning and vacuuming of the common areas. Please note this is not a party house. Only non-smokers will be interviewed.
