If you want a fun and modern place to live this summer then THIS IS IT! This modern apartment is just off Chapel St and High St with endless amounts of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. We have an amazing view of the city skyline from our balcony too! Double glazed windows so you can block out the occasional weekend noise. Prahran train station and Windsor train station are both about a 8 minute walk away. A brand new Woolies and brand new Coles are just up the road. Everything you need is in walking distance- post office, bakery, train lines, trams, grocery stores, parks, Prahran pool, great coffee, amazing food and plenty of shopping. Air con/heating unit works wonders, BUT...the best part...endless hot water and a rainfall shower head. This apartment also includes a gas cook top, dishwasher, and a stacker car park. There is also a handful of unrestricted parking on Clifton St and King St. Please note, this is a lease transfer. Our current lease ends in Feb 2020. We are SO sad to leave, but I’m having visa issues and have to return home. Hello, Jackson, Erica and I are on the lookout for a new housemate! 😃 The house is in Prahran, closer to Orrong Road and wedged in between the number 6 and 64/5 tram routes. We’re on a leafy, quiet street and walking distance from the local IGA, Woolworths, gyms, cafes and restaurants. We’re roughly a 5 minute tram ride from both the Chapel Street Precinct and Malverns Glenferrie Road shopping precinct. It’s a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom place. With the room available being the largest of all the bedrooms. It has built in robes and a decorative fireplace. It’s also got a west facing window so there’s plenty of afternoon sun light. The house gets a lot of natural light and is filled with plants. It has ducted heating throughout, a split system air con in the main area and landscaped gardens which are maintained by a gardener at the landlords expense. There’s four of us in the house - one couple, a girl and then you. We’re all aged between 21 - 25 and work/study on a full time basis, so ideally looking for someone similar who is also keen to stay long term. The room will come with a bed but we’re able to remove it if you’ve got your own furniture! Rent is $220 a week, not including bills. There is also a bond of $900. You will be living in an extraordinary location, close to chapel street, tones of restaurants and bars! This is the area to live in if you’re young and free ;) Since we recently got the place we are getting all the furniture and decorations, you can choose what you like to make it your own style or even bring your stuff if you have something. We have The best backyard !!! It’s enormous and being transformed into a unique social area where we will be watching movies with a projector and hanging out, having a drink, once the weather improves a little bit 😆
My housemates and I are looking for someone else to join us in our House in Prahran. Females only (sorry we've had some pretty traumatic experiences with the last four men that have lived with us over the past three years) The room is cosy – currently unfurnished (the bedroom could easily fit a bed, clothes rack or wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV etc) but our current housemate might be selling her bed frame/mattress/clothes rack and mirror. It’s your typical sharehouse, pretty run down but we like to have fun and we’re looking for someone who’s pretty chill to join us. The rest of the house is completely furnished including large fridge, washer, dryer. We have central heating which has been amazing in winter!
