It's all fully furnished except for your bedroom :) The apartment is on the top floor of a 5 story building, so great views and extremely safe/secure. The room up for rent is the master bedroom with built in wardrobe & floor length mirrors - roughly $303 a week ($1213.50 a month) (bills not included.). The room is HUGE, especially for a new apartment. The flat is in a great location, close to Chapel St bars and restaurants but not too close that you get the noise. It’s less than 10 min walk to Prahran station and the no.6 tram into the city is right outside the door! There's a cafe right below the building if you're into coffee and brunching. Sorry, no couples - whilst the room is large enough, the place is just touch too cosy for 3 people :)

I have a beautiful weatherboard home in Prahran with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The house is near Hawksburn village and Chapel Street. Great flat with city views from balcony in one of Melbourne's best areas. Flat is not over looked and is on a quiet, tree lined road. Being on the second floor it is extremely secure and quiet with respectful neighbours. It is located approx. 2 minutes walk to the nearest tram stop (number 6 tram, High Street) and 5 Minutes walk to trams 64 and 5 (Dandenong Rd). Which will get you into the CBD in 20-30 mins. Nearest train stations are about 20 minute walk away. It is also about 15-20 walk to Chapel Street which is well known and a great place for restaurants and bars... Plus it doesn't take that long to get to St Kilda and the beach!!! It is a clean, bright, good sized flat with living room, kitchen and shared bathroom with bath and shower. Bedroom has a built in wardrobe and comes furnished with clean king single mattress + mattress protector, desk, chair, drawers and portable oil filled electric radiator if required. The balcony is decent size and has good views looking at the city. I have been living here approx. 2 years and love the place. Its is fully furnished, including washing machine so all set up and ready to move in.. I believe you can apply for on street parking permit if required, but ideally suited for someone without car, who will take public transport, walk or cycle, as off street parking is not available. Apart from living with me, which is an experience in its self, the house is very modern and well kept. It is situated dangerously close to hawksburn and chapel st precinct, however the street itself is quiet and hidden away in what i like to think is one of Prahran's more chilled out areas. Whilst the house has an art deco facade it is newly painted with modern amenities, polished wooden floorboards and is fully furnished. The room is a medium size with copious amounts of natural lighting, unfortunately there isn't a cupboard but I would be happy to purchase one for the right tenant. The house has a good feel, filled with music and relaxed energy. Wifi included. It's a home :)
