So my place is a pretty big warehouse conversion in Prahran. High ceilings and lots of concrete. I’m just putting in a brand new kitchen now. The location is right near the chapel and high corner with only a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Theres also got a spare bedroom/study. Underground offsite parking keeps your car safe.

The room is at the front of the house, with a large window allowing plenty of morning sunshine, overlooking the front garden and quiet street. There's a large built in cupboard (see photo) with plenty of space/draws and a very comfy queen bed/bed side table. Huge bathroom with bath and shower. Laundry seperate. BBQ. Ducted heating throughout the house. Also, the interior of the house (living room/kitchen/hallway/bathroom) are being painted in about 6-8 weeks. We own a gorgeous Hungarian Vizsla who is full of energy and very friendly, so it's essential you're comfortable around larger dogs and will be happy living with him (you can definitely take him for runs/walks too if you like!) I'll be starting a bachelor or paramedicine this year at ACU (full time) and Chris (my partner) works for a fitness brand Mon-Fri. We have a cleaner that comes every two weeks, however we still want someone who's lived in share houses before and keeps kitchen/living spaces clean and tidy etc in the interim. The nearest Coles is a 5 min walk (Malvern Rd). The tram is a 2 minute walk (Malvern Rd or High St). Nearest train station is an 8 minute walk (Toorak Station and Hawksburn Station). Chapel Street is a 10 min walk. There are heaps of pubs and cafes near by. There is always plenty to do! This place really feels like home for us, which we want to share! 🏡 The House Room in our three bedroom house in Prahran is sadly up for grabs - we’re super sad to be losing our current flattie due to unexpected pet emergency 🥺😭! The house is a beautiful, bright, spacious place - located within a 10 minute walk to everything you could need. There are cafes and grocery stores aplenty, trams, a train line, and many cute little parks in the area. The room going is the smallest in the house but still decent sized, comes with a built in wardrobe and a desk, and comfortably fits a double bed (currently has a queen). Bills aren't included and are approx. $100-130 per month ($24 internet, $20 water, $30 for gas and $30-$60 for electricity (depending on the season). We also have a communal Netflix account.

The building itself is nearly three years old and all the bedroom have windows! They're small-ish but fit everything you need AND have huge built-ins. Yours has a little built-in desk too. There's a rooftop, a storage cage downstairs and a car space where I keep my work car (unfortunately I don't have another, but sometimes others in the building rent theirs out if you are looking) We have aircon, a balcony, a very modern kitchen and it's fully equipped with all the best gadgets (I'm a chef, afterall). It's JUST off Chapel and High Streets (close to three major tram routes and the train station), making it ideal for people who want to get out and explore - as we are close to heaps of great restaurants, bars and parks and it's not THAT far to walk to St Kilda (about 25-30min walk). Unfortunately the place isn't big enough for a couple and I can't live with smokers because I have shocking asthma, as well as a long list of other respiratory problems.

With the room available being the largest of all the bedrooms. It has built in robes and a decorative fireplace. It’s also got a west facing window so there’s plenty of afternoon sun light. The house gets a lot of natural light and is filled with plants. It has ducted heating throughout, a split system air con in the main area and landscaped gardens which are maintained by a gardener at the landlords expense. My loss is your gain with this amazing apartment. It's in a fab location, walking distance to Chapel St, trams, trains, bars, supermarkets and a cafe right below the building for your morning coffee fix. There is a modern kitchen for the masterchefs, a good sized balcony that looks over High St, modern finishings & a large bathroom with great shower pressure. Heaps of storage space throughout and skylights in the kitchen and bathroom that let natural light in too (which is great for selfies if you're in to that). The place is fully furnished except for your bedroom which has large built in robes and floor length mirrors and plenty of room to fit a queen bed & desk comfortably. The house is an old semi-detached in the backstreets of Prahran. She has a huge living space with heaps of windows opening out onto a large courtyard and garden. The bedrooms are big, the bathroom is small but functional, and the kitchen is great for cooking and entertaining. There's heaps of storage either in a shed/laundry out the back, or in the attic. It’s a 5 minute walk to Chapel Street, or a 2 minute walk to the tram stop in one direction, or a pub in the other. Public transport is great, being between the number 6, 72 or 78, and a 10 minute walk to either Prahran or Hawksburn stations. The area is quiet and leafy despite its proximity to Chapel St. The whole street is residential permit parking - you just need a car registered in your name to organise a permit with the council. Parking availability isn’t too bad, so depending on what time you get home, you usually won’t have to walk too far. Furniture wise, the house has pretty much everything it needs. Having said that, I'm completely open to changing things up if you've got stuff. The bedroom is empty. You’ll need to go on the lease, which the real estate has assured me will be quick and painless - just a technicality. Rent is $1380 per calendar month. At the moment we just to split everything in half. We have electricity, water, gas (hot water, heating and cooking), and cable ADSL. I put away $75 a fortnight which has generally covered my share of everything. We're not super anal about general household expenses, like laundry stuff or condiments, we tend to just share buying and using essentials.
