The house comprises of two storeys with the living, dining, kitchen, balcony and small outdoor alcove on the first floor and two bedrooms and shared bathroom on the second floor. The house also comes with top of the range kitchen appliances and split system units in both bedrooms and on the first floor. The house also has an intercom and electronic gate entry for security. The available room is large enough to fit a queen bed and furniture and comes with built in robes, I can arrange for the room to be furnished with a single bed if required. The townhouse is a part of a boutique complex of apartments that is close to the Murray Rd bus lines and various tram lines and is also very close to both Preston and Coburg stations, the Preston Market and various eateries on Brunswick st.

During the short-term stay, the study has been cleared to use as your own. Our bedroom will be used as a storage space for our belongings and out of use. To be completely honest, there isn't that much wardrobe space but there is lots of space in general in the apartment. All the furniture, linens, home utensils - everything at home will be yours to use as your own. No laundry but there is a laundromat on our street less than 2 minutes walk away that we use. And across from that is a pub, also 2 minutes walk away. Just in case you were the type of people to appreciate that (we are). All utilities are included in the price listed, within reason - if there is a massive spike in electricity use, we will need to discuss a resolution. Bond of 4 weeks - $1680. Hi pals! Unfortunately I have to leave our Preston abode so up for grabs is my room in this cozy house. My room is really big with a built in wardrobe and drawers that come with the robe. Can fit a queen sized bed, desk and chair with still a lot of room to move around. Apart from the room being unfurnished, the rest of the house is furnished. We have a huge TV, washing machine, communal kitchen utensils and a fridge. The bathroom and shower are probably the nicest part of the house, the shower is incredible. We also have internet and a nice garage! You'd be living with two other housemates, one does a feminist sports podcast and works full time in administration, the other is an engineer who also works full time. Location wise, the house is a five minute walk from Northland Shopping Centre, so it's really easy to go and get groceries. It's got a lot of bus stops that go to Regent or Fairfield stations or otherwise it's a 10-15 minute walk from stop 51 Wood Street on the 86 tram line. We live in a beautiful renovated weatherboard home with large fully furnished bedrooms, high ceilings and open fireplaces. However, we also have central heating and air-conditioning. There is a lovely big garden and a friendly dog. It is a short walk to the tram, train and bus stop. Also, the shopping centre is only a 10 minute walk from here.
We have loved living in this share house- especially having a dog, it can be hard to find affordable rent with housemates accomodating to a puppy moving into their space! The house and room are absolutely huge; though not hard to furnish. With a huge backyard and garage for off street parking accessed by a rear laneway. The bathroom has recently been updated and a new stove installed. The house has a seperate toilet and we have had no issues with bathroom sharing between four people (the housemates have short showers and all work different times of the day). The house also features a granny flat in the backyard (a fourth bedroom?!) This room is ideal for couples with pet(s) but is open to anyone available to take over our month-to-month lease asap!

The house is a beautiful and spacious californian bungalow that has been renovated recently and has a lot of natural light. We're a short walk to the 86 tram and a slightly longer walk to the Preston train station and the market. We pretty much have everything you would need for the shared areas already (tv, couch, whitegoods, pots/pants/utensils etc.) and there's also a spare mattress should you require it. Such a gorgeous, well kept house in a fantastic, friendly part of Preston. Really close to Regent Station, bus and 86 tram (handy to travel to RMIT, Bundoora and the city). Short journey to all the amazing bars and restaurants in Thornbury. Really big back yard. It has a modern kitchen with a brilliant gas stove and even a dishwasher! The house gets lots of light and has great character. There is also a second toilet outside.
Hi, we have a fantastic ramshackle character house with a big garden. It's in a very safe and beautiful part of Preston. We're close to trams 1 (Melbourne Uni RMIT in 20 minutes) and 11 (Brunswick Street, City and St Kilda ) and the Train is close by also. We are approximately 30 minutes by public transport to Latrobe Uni. Just a short walk up the road is a milkbar, and also within 10 minutes walking distance is a bakery, supermarket, chemist , doctors and several fantastic cafes. We are surrounded by parklands. The Merri Creek bike trail is just down the road if you have a bike. The room is fully furnished with built in robes,and would ideally suit an honest, independant student/person looking for comfort, and quiet. It has a beautiful sunset view. I've been told the room is above standard. We have wifi and bills are to be shared. We are very easy going and friendly , and would enjoy getting together for a meal once a week. . We eat meat. We have shared with many international students and have made many friends this way. I am a single mother with a young daughter so parties are definitely NOT OK. House cleaning is to be strictly shared and done on a weekly basis. Our house is a happy one, and we have a cat, and guinea pigs. There is lots of laughter and chatter but also peace. I live in and own a 2 bedroom apartment with my bengal cat, Amity. The apartment is fully furnished (with the exception of your room) Everything is provided kitchen, laundry and lounge room wise. I'm more than happy for you to use whatever you wish, with the only exception that you clean up after yourself and avoid damage where you can. Internet is unlimited. It's quite a big package that includes Fetch TV (Optus Sport and a bunch of other channels) it cost $70 a month each. I have foxtel with every channel which runs through my laptop and you are able to use for free. The lounge room has a 60" TV, Surround sound and an xbox one. Which again I am happy for you to use as long as it's used respectfully. Your bedroom is a 3x3m with a built in wardrobe. Unfortunately it does not have a window so the door is glazed glass. I am happy for you to put posters over the back of the door to maximise your privacy (You can't see through the door anyway.) There is unlimited parking across the road in the Preston South shopping centre carpark where other residents also Park. The 86 tram is right outside the front door and Bell and Thornbury train station are both approx 400m away.
