We like people who are respectful of each other,share well, but operate as independent humans and cook separately and clean up after themselves. We are very easy going and friendly , and would enjoy getting together for a meal once a week. We eat meat. Our house is what you'd call a character house, so it's not brand new. The house is old but it has a renovated bathroom and newish carpets. It’s been called really cool, sweet house and amazing it has some unique features to enjoy. The back yard is huge and has a beautiful garden. The lounge is a quiet chill space for some quit tv, reading,talking ,board games etc . We consider that there’s 2 bedrooms off lounge and this keeps tv/computer sounds to minimum. We have wifi. There is a fridge and washing machine and dryer or there is a clothes line. Your room is large with view west facing you can watch the sun setting. The room has very tall ceilings there’s a queen size bed, desk, built in robes and chest of drawers. Bills are split 3 ways, aside from if you like to use a heater or fan the cost per month comes off the bill before the splits. House cleaning is to be strictly shared and done on a weekly basis. . Bills are gas electric and water and wifi. They come bi-monthly and quarterly. We take turns to buy toilet paper, dish-wash liquid etc. We have shared with many international students . I am a single mother with a young daughter so parties are definitely NOT OK. Our house is a happy one, and we have a cat, and guinea pigs. There is lots of laughter and chatter but also peace and quiet. We also love music and art ! We would like someone single and longer term but open to couple and short term (ask me regarding a price for couples and stays under 3 months ). Its located in a prime location in a secure complex. the house ill have NBN connected, the room for rent is not the master but does have a built in and is big enough for a queen bed. I have just moved from QLD so i haven't got all the necessities. you have to go on the lease but you dont have a min stay time so if you have to leave at any point that's ok.
