Renting my lovely room in shared accommodation (from the 30th of July and onwards), because it's time for me to leave Australia Located in Princes Hill (quiet neighborhood), near beautiful Princes park. Supermarkets are in close proximity (Coles, Woolworth in Barkley Square). Tram stops are in 5-7 minutes walk (trams 19, 1, 6). The room is really big, with plenty of cupboard space. I would prefer people, who are willing to buy my furniture before moving in (bed, table, chair, mattress, warm blankets, shelves, heater - all will cost you $250(negotiable) My flatmates (from Belgium and Singapore) are very friendly, we try to keep common space neat and clean. It's not a party house! The price includes all the bills (except water bills) and internet.
The house is a large three bedroom house located right in the intersection of Lygon and Pigdon Street. Basically, our home is simple and non-materialistic. We focus on having spacious rooms, minimising our consumption impact, being conscious with waste, producing compost, growing in the veggie patch, having beautiful friends over, etc. This is not about being "minimalistic" or "environmental friendly", is about inhabit Earth with awareness and we like to share this responsability through communal things. The house it has everything you'll need such as: spacious living room with fireplace, a medium and well organised kitchen, shared dining, small bathroom, outside toilet, laundry with washing machine, and a clean and clear backyard. The room is 4.2m x 2.7m, at the middle of the house with a high ceiling and window. Is unfurnished and we only offer a shelve/wardrobe (available on the picture).
The best thing about this property, its is incredibly affordable very close to the CBD and other great areas. The suburb is well knowing as Carlton North or Princess Hill. Preferably, someone who is a low key would be ideal for this place.

(the lower bunk blocked off and is in another room so your room is still private). The kitchen has 2 refrigerators, induction stoves, microwave, a dishwasher and an oven. There's lots of shelves and cupboards around the kitchen as well. You also get digital control of the rooms temperature. Although your room itself is small, the public areas make it worth it. There's a beautiful view with barbecue and cooking areas on the 3rd floor (communal), games rooms, gyms and a small theater for your movie nights with friends. This place is also a great opportunity for you to make friends as most of the people staying here are students.

Furnished room in a spacious 70's style flat. Northern facing (sunny in winter). Includes private car space off the street. - The location is honestly pretty amazing, it's on the third and top floor of a 70s style building. The complex itself has heaps of giant old trees and beautiful gardens surrounding it which are cared for by a gardener. It is a 30 second walk from the 57 tram, a few local fast food joints, a laundromat, convenience store/bottle shop and a pharmacy. The flat has a sunny northern aspect, a giant living area (3.6x6), separate kitchen/dining, toilet and bathroom also separate (honestly so rare SMH) and a good sized sheltered balcony. Fantastic location, very close to the city. Close to many amazing cafes, Errol street (the main road of shops), and Queen Victoria markets. Less than 5 min walk to North Melbourne station and 2 min walk to 57 tram line. Amazing housemates. I am pretty sad to be leaving them. Very easy to live with. Air-con and heating. Room has it's own private courtyard, big double wardrobe, and it also comes with a cupboard which is in the hallway for extra storage. Room is bigger than it looks in the photo. Was hard to get a photo of the whole room.
