It is on the ground floor where one bathroom with toilet, laundry, and one other bedroom is. The townhouse is three storeys. On the second floor is the common area, kitchen, a toilet, a balcony overlooking a park with a view of the city, as well an extra outdoor entertaining area. On the third floor is the third bedroom. The house is an old warehouse conversion, relatively new and modern, very spacious and gets a ridiculous amount of sunlight for a town house. Trams #1 and #8, a few other busses, an IGA, coin laundry and a billion other conveniences are at your doorstep. I'm looking for a housemate/s to share my place in Carlton North and it is available from 2nd August 2017. It could be one person ($315/week) or a couple ($380/week). Bond is $1,800 either way. It's a massive Victorian house and I think it is ridiculously nice. 2 bedroom terrace house with a spacious combined kitchen/living area, a little half room good for chilling out and reading a book, playing some guitars that live there or can be set-up as a study or whatever you prefer! There is also a nice courtyard that gets plenty of sun out back. The house and the area: The house is close to the 96 tram (2 mins), Nicholson st Shopping Village (2 mins), North Fitzroy Village (5-10 mins), Rathdowne Village (5-10 mins), Lygon St (10 mins) and about 20 mins walk to Sydney Rd. I think it's pretty much in the perfect location. The house is in a quiet street and there is on-street permit/free parking and no problems getting a spot. We have a visitor permit and can also get one more permit if you have a car. Furniture: I have most of what we need except for possibly another couch, maybe a dining table, microwave, toaster...all optional of course depending... Hopefully you have some stuff or are willing to contribute a few things to the house. Rent is divided 50/50, and if there are 3 people.. the split is 40% for me and 60% for the couple. Split the bills evenly by the # of people in the house. Electricity, Gas, Water, Contents Insurance (optional) and Broadband Internet. Internet is $70/month and split between the tenants. I budget on $30/week for bills and it seems to well and truly cover most things (except the insurance).
