Large double story terrace house in prime location - 1 min to tram and very close to the city and Melbourne University. Beautifully furnished and decorated. The house is large, bright and beautiful. You will have your own bathroom, meals also included ,limitless internet and bills are also included. The room also has a private study and balcony.
Large, light-filled room with a stylish ensuite and new Queen bed in a newly-renovated house in the heart of Princes Hill. Short walk to Sydney Road, Princes Park, Lygon Street; short tram or bike ride to Fitzroy and Carlton. Close to Melbourne Uni, RMIT, and the CBD, but a quiet retreat from the bustle of the city. Upstairs and private, lots of built-in robes, aircon.
Perfectly located in a quiet spot between Lygon and Rathdowne Streets, the terrace is light filled and has a modern kitchen and open plan living area. There is split-system air con in the living area and bedroom for those hot summer nights. The available bedroom has built in robes, storage cupboards and a little desk. The bathroom is lovely and light filled and looks on to a private courtyard. I have a fridge, washing-machine and fully stocked kitchen, and a dryer is installed as a fixture of the property. There is a nice little courtyard with Laneway access for bike storage, greenery and the barbie! Note: furniture has changed a bit from these photos.
On offer is a furnished bedroom in a modern 2 bdrm apartment on Lygon St in Carlton North. Literally minutes away from the heart of Brunswick East, spitting distance to the tram and close to Melbourne Uni. The bedroom has a double bed, built-in wardrobe, and desk. Would suit a professional or student. There is also an underground car space available for use with key-fob access.
This place is ideal for a uni student. You would be living in an extremely central location, close to all of the hipster suburbs like Brunswick and Fitzroy and only a tram ride away from the city, as well as within walking distance to universities like RMIT and Unimelb. As it so happens, we are on Lygon street (you know the famous one with all the yummy Italian restaurants.) There is a tram stop right outside the door and lovely parks not far away. The house itself is very spacious and great for entertaining. I fell in love with it, as soon as I moved in and know you will too. We like to keep the atmosphere rather peaceful and chilled during the week, so we can all concentrate on our studies. However on weekends we are quite social, creating the perfect balance in our lives.
This place is ideal for a uni student. It is in such a central location, close to all the hipster suburbs like Fitzroy and Brunswick....only a tram ride away from the city and walking distance to the University of Melbourne. You will feel instantly at home due to the good vibes, chilled housemates and fun atmosphere. It is generally a social house on weekends but pretty peaceful during the week, so we can all concentrate on our studies. I fell in love with this house and the people pretty much straight away and know you will too.. whoever you may be.
Hi, I’m Cara and I’ve got an unfurnished, double room up for grabs in a two-bedroom gorgeous Art Deco apartment in Parkville. Quick Facts Bond: $1,230 Rent PCM: $1130 ($260 a week) No couples, pets or smokers LGBT Friendly: Yes Long term stay only Move in date: 04/02/2017 Negotiable. About the place The apartment has a large light filled kitchen/diner fitted with Miele appliances, spacious living room, bathroom and European laundry. Other perks include FTB NBN, Netflix, a MasterChef housemate and every kind of cooking appliance you could imagine. The room is heated, has double glazed windows and a BIR. The flat is conveniently located in Parkville, close to both Princess and Royal Park, Melbourne University, Vic Markets, Lygon Street and Sydney Road. The number 19 tram is right on the door step and there are two on street parking permits available too. The price above includes water but does not include other utilities, which would be split evenly. The rest of the flat is furnished but I’m open to re-arranging furniture depending on what you have.
The house is in an epic location - right on the corner of Drummond and Park St and a quick ride to either Fitzroy North or Sydney Rd on the capital city trail. We’re a 15 minute walk to Barkly Square or 10 minutes on the tram to Melbourne Uni. The house is an old federation era house and super lovely all round: We’ve got NBN and all of the other mod-cons and it’s nice and fast. The room is big enough for a large bed and desk, gets plenty of light and is all round fab. Rent is $1040 a month in March. Bond is roughly the same; bills end up being about $100 per month with everything. Move in date is the 4th of Feb. We are after a housemate who wants a more social sharehouse and see a house as a home more than anything. Ideally you work in a 9-5 and are all of the things most of these ads ask for; respectful, tidy, LGBTI friendly, and pay bills on time. Looking to have interviews ASAP so let us know if you’re interested!
The time has come for our lovely Parkville sharehouse to find another awesome housemate. The room is nestled in a light-filled and inviting two-level townhouse in Parkville. The room on offer is the largest in the house at approximately 4.3 x 3.3 metres. The house is fully furnished (including a washing machine and dishwasher) but the room available is unfurnished. It would ideally suit someone looking to live close to Melbourne University, Brunswick or the city for work, study or just being in the middle of all the excitement you can find being so close to the CBD. It has built in robes (approx. 2.4x0.6m size). Opposite these is a window-filled wall which includes two large openable and fly-wired windows for plenty of fresh air. The ground floor comprises an open plan living and dining area and includes a 32" LED HDTV and a variety of gaming consoles both new and old, as well as a kitchen which is fully stocked with all the utensils and appliances you could want (microwave, water filter, sodastream, rice cooker to name a few). There is also a separate/2nd toilet and a spiral staircase that leads upstairs. The upstairs comprises three bedrooms, a tiled bathroom with two sinks, separate shower and bath as well as a laundry with a washing machine and toilet. The house is double brick so there is very little traffic noise from Royal Parade. The living/dining area opens onto a reasonable-sized rear garden/courtyard area that also includes a small lockable storage area. The townhouse is only a 5 minute walk to the Barkly Square shops near Brunswick Rd and there is easy access to public transport (1 minute walk to trams stops and 10 minutes walk to the train station and bus stops). We are also on two Nightrider bus routes (along with the hourly all-night trams on the weekend) for late-night city fun (it's only a forty minute stroll or twenty minute bicycle ride from Flinders St at the worst case). None of us have a car and there is a covered parking space outside the front door, as well as guest parking at the back of the property. Costs - Rent PCM: $860, bills average a total of $120 per month each (quarterly water and electricity and montly 100/40 speed FTTP NBN internet on Aussie Broadband, 1TB total for $26.66 each per month - there is also a concession discount applied to water and electricity bills) and bond is $980 (has always been this, slightly more than monthly rental cost). Further info: I have lived here almost five years on a month to month lease and the other flatmate has been here over a year now. Rent will not increase before 2019 (will go up around $15 per person Jan 2019). Photos shown above are a couple of years old, will try to get some new ones done ASAP. Room is large enough for a couple, would be happy to have a couple for some extra rent, $960 pcm instead of 860. Kitty stays in my room mostly and I clean her litter (in laundry) ASAP once or twice every day. Also if you need to move before the 15th Feb, you could always sleep on the couch if need be until the current flatmate moves out.

To those of you who are seeing this ad for the first time, I'm afraid I won't be considering any more potential flatmates at this stage. But I wish you good luck in your search ;). In the meantime, I will leave this ad up for reference, and I will still be online for those of you who I have messaged so far. Thanks people! Tom. ============ ORIGINAL AD ============= Hey guys! I'm looking for someone to fill the space my flatmate is leaving behind :) The apartment is nicer than most and the room is enormous (over 4 metres long)! The photos are of the smaller room, with my stuff in it. Both rooms have huge windows, plenty of light, large, deep built in robes. Great location in Parkville.
