It hasn't been an issue for previous renters as there are two very close by libraries, and we have a nice spacious lounge room to study in too, (4) It is very cosy, and (5) It is the closest room to the bathroom and separate from the other rooms of the house so has more privacy. The second room is a large room and has very good natural light, but is not the best for light sleepers as it is closest to the main road. It has not bothered everyone who has lived in that room but they were all quite good sleepers! Location: If you don't know Parkville, it borders Brunswick, Carlton and North Melbourne. Transport wise we are an easy walk from: - no 19 tram along Royal Parade - Royal Park train station (Upfield line) - no 55 tram through Royal Park - Bike tracks through Princes Park and Royal Park Bills etc: Gas, electricity and internet are split three ways (works out approx $25pp/pw more in winter, less in summer). We have a kitty for shared consumables like cleaning products, toilet paper etc but otherwise take care of our own groceries and cooking separately, with the occasional shared meal, pizza delivery or trip to the local pub for a counter meal. Apartment is fully furnished, with a 47inch 3d tv, xbox 360, wdtv, mi box, chromecast, new 554L fridge and washing machine. We have the NBN installed, with an unlimited 100/40mbps service plan via Internode. There is a super single bed which you are welcome to use with your own linen, or we can remove it and you can bring your own. Only bills are water, electricity and internet, $34 a month for the NBN internet, and roughly $50-60 per month for electricity. Rent is $205 per week, but paid monthly ($888 per month, bond is this amount as well). We both work full time and are clean & tidy, quiet, like to swing dance, go to the gym (we do powerlifting!) and enjoy eating all sorts of food! Perfect brunswick location - smack bang between Lygon and Sydney Roads - 5 minute walk to trams on both, 5 mins to Barkly square shops! It's a neat little unit, with a decent sized sunny courtyard! 1 bathroom but 2 separate toilets. Massive kitchen and big old school heater in the lounge. The room is quite small but has ample wardrobe space, a nice big window that opens with good sunlight. There is a study nook that will be yours to use if you need, and a carport space that can be included :) You will need to go on the lease and be approved by the agent. We are looking for someone long term, and ASAP!
