Weekly fee as low as $240pw for own room inc. expenses for part-time lodger. Seeking mature person who requires a room either mid week; fee $240pw for up to 3 or 4 nights a week. Perfect for Fifo or part-timer. Alternatively I'd consider someone on a full-time basis who is busy and wouldn't be spending a lot of time at home. If you wish to have your own bathroom and live with no more than one or two people, this may be negotiated. I'd still be looking at a fee of around $60pn for the 7 nights depending on your requirements. If you'd like more space there's the possibility of renting a 2nd room also though I rarely use the lounge room so that would mostly be yours. In the past I've mostly had part-time house mates who have their own home else-where and come to Sydney for work and only require a room somewhere between Mon night to Fri morning and this has worked out well but I'm finding the demand is not so strong for this arrangement any more which is why I'm considering just having a full time person her instead. Public transport: house is half-way between Gordon and Pymble train station, about 15 minute walk to either. From Gordon its about 30 Min's to city or beach, 10mins to Chatswood and about 15 to Hornsby . Macquarie Park and University and North Ryde area are also within easy distance. Gordon station is where express trains to the city start on the North Shore train line and has under cover parking monitored by CCTV camera's. Reference and photo ID required as is, bond equivalent to 3 weeks rent to be paid and rent to be paid in advance with a minimum of 2 weeks notice. In winder I usually don't use heaters, instead I tend to put on more clothes. If you want to use a heater in your room, you can but the electricity bill will be shared by the household accordingly. (Electricity is generated by solar panels and hot water is also solar-heated.) There are good bus services between Turramurra station and Macquarie Centre/Uni (Transdev 571 and 572). For those bicycle-riding students you can ride on a paved passage through the bush to uni, probably 15 minutes. Very safe on-street parking, but off-street parking can be arranged if required.
