One room is available to rent in a spacious house on a large property. It fits a queen bed and has two large windows which provides great light in the morning. My favourite part of the house is the large kitchen which has plenty of space for communal cooking and provides a great setting for conversation. The house is largely furnished, but plenty of space for tables/couches if you would like to bring something with you. We have a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. While we do not have a dryer, there is a large rotary clothes line in the back yard. The house is perfectly located near Fyshwick market, Manuka coles and the surrounding shops. Walking distance to great cafes and restaurants.
The property is 1-2 minutes drive or 5-7 minutes walk from Canberra Hospital/ National Capital Hospital. It is 3-5 minutes walk from Garran cafes, grocery shops, and other Garran shops. It is 5 minutes drive from Westfield Woden and other Philip shops. It is also 5 minutes drive from Garran Primary School. There is also a bus stop across the street which makes public transporation easily accesssible going to Civic. There is a washing machine, dryer, television, dishwasher, microwave, oven hot shower, and spit type airconditioner/ heater. Moreover, we have a very spacious living area and balcony.
Very spacious, two lounge rooms, every room has its own bathroom. Kitchen has all the facilities. A few minutes drive to Kingston, Manuka and Woden. 18 minutes away from the Canberra city. Oh and the golf course view is quite beautiful! Available now.
Quiet neighbourhood - a great place to wind down after a busy day at work. Really close to the Manuka shops (5/10min walk), I always enjoy going for walk in the morning to grab a coffee. Place is fully furnished so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own stuff. Plus there’s a pool for you to use when summers comes around! May be open to negotiating rent - send me a message if you’re interested 😊
Located in Griffith for easy transport to the city, you'd share a bathroom with one other and have a north facing room for maximum sun. All hardwood floors, spacious living room and kitchen with front garden. Central heating to combat the cold Canberra winters. The room can come furnished for a one-off fee (our current housemate is leaving the country so she will sell you her bed, etc. if interested) or unfurnished. Rent is $210/week plus bills. Let us know a bit about yourself when you message! :)
Newly built unit in a nice suburb with views to nearby hills. Spacious bedrooms with lots of storage, washing machine and dishwasher, dryer, TV, sofa installed with room for more furniture if you need to move some in.
This is a unique property, spacious yet homely. Modernised for comfortable living, yet retains the luxury of its past life as an Embassy, with crystal chandeliers and marble staircase. All bedrooms are lockable for privacy and safety and have been furnished with beds, tables and reading lamps. Some have their own televisions, though there is an upstairs communal entertainment room where guests can watch television or one of the many DVD movies or tv series in our library. The kitchen and other common areas provide all facilities for a home away from home experience for people coming to Canberra to work. Everything is provided - you only pay one weekly fee which covers all bills, wifi, use of linen and home cooked evening meals. If you enjoy nature there are walking trails close by or you can check out the kangaroos at close range when they visit the property of an evening. A unique and special place to call home while you become established in Canberra.
Indicative move-in date is on or after the 18th of November, pending occupancy forms being signed off by the agent. The rent is $395/fortnight, payable every second Thursday. The bond is already paid in full and the lease is in my name, so you'll be a sub-occupant as the process for adding someone to the lease is more onerous. I'm comfortable assuming sole liability for the property, but I will request a nominal amount to be paid to me, less than the bond, which I will return if either of us vacate. The property is located on Canberra Avenue, a 10 minute walk from Manuka shops and Kingston shops and a 20 minute walk from National Circuit and Parliament House. The rent is very competitive given the proximity to Manuka and Kingston. Internet is $45 p/m ($90 split in half) and electricity/gas are variable with seasons. The apartment will have room for some furniture if you have some you would like to bring in. I am using the interior parking spot but there is guest parking or a strip across the road if you have a car. Your room does not have an in-built closet, however there is a cloth closet available (or your own closet can be moved in). The apartment has an NBN connection. I own the fridge/microwave and there is a laundry and dryer installed, so the whitegoods are covered. There is a balcony and unfortunately no in-built heating/air-conditioning or elevator (three flights of stairs). No smoking or pets allowed as per the existing rental agreement.
Hi everyone, I'll be moving out of my apartment between the 14th and 20th of December. It's located in Kingston, a 5 minute walk to the Kingston shops, and a 15 minute walk to Manuka. It's a very convenient location with multiple bus stops within a 5 minute walk. The entire apartment has new furniture - so you'd only need to fill up your room! It can easily fit a queen size bed and there's a built in wardrobe. The photos show the room that's available. You'll be sharing a two bedroom apartment with one other female (26). She is an APS worker, easy going, and enjoys going on hikes and doing all things fitness. There's NBN internet that's split ($60/month), and the apartment only uses electricity (was only $15/week the last quarter), on top of the rent. Let me know if you're interested, I'm happy to organise any inspections at your convenience!
I’ve got a nice and spacious two bedroom apartment. You’ll have your own bathroom and undercover car space. All bills are included on the rent so no surprises with unexpected bills. The apartment is extremely spacious with two balconies and large living areas. Reverse cycle air conditioning in the common areas and access to high speed NBN
