You'll get to live about as downtown as can be in Canberra, right next to the Canberra Centre. One of the best things about living here is that in summer it feels like you're in a tree house, given that the treetops are all around and the room itself has large windows (in fact, the outer wall is all window). Given that spring has just started, you'll have to wait a few months for that experience. The room can get a bit cold in winter due to the many windows, but there's a heater. There's a big living area with a nice view, the apartment and the furnishings are modern. You'll share a bathroom with one other roommate (a girl), and the kitchen is shared by three people. The room itself fits a bed and a desk and has plenty of closet space. The rent is $875 per month. Internet is $20 per month per person, and the only other recurring bill is the power bill which is around $150-$200 per quarter per person. The room is for rent until August 2020.
The apartment is just beside Canberra Center. There are two flatmates, both are male ANU students. Available immediately until 13 Feb 2020. The rent is $350/week including all bills. There is extra cost if you need car space.

The house is right next to the war memorial, with easy access to Mt Ainslie and Lake Burley Griffin. It's a 10 min walk to Campbell shops, 25 min walk to Canberra center - or 10 minutes on the bus.
