Our house is in Reid - roughly a 5 minute walk to the Canberra Centre and Civic. We have a big backyard, veggie patch, large storage shed and plenty of room to park cars. The house is furnished but there's plenty of space if you have some things to bring. Fast internet is available for $20 a month. Utilities not included, but typically costs about $70-100 per quarter all up. We aren't charged for water usage. We get a gardener to come every 3 months as the garden can be a lot of work but, if you're into getting your hands dirty, feel free. The bedroom is approx. 3m x 3m and fits a single/double bed pretty comfortably. It has a built in wardrobe/dresser. I have been living in this house for 2.5 years and absolutely love it. We lease straight from the owner, who's very easygoing. We're looking for one new housemate.

The flat is very light and spacious. It's within a quiet complex which has a nice communal garden. We are right in the centre of Barton and close to lots of good bars and cafes . The Barton grocer is about 5 mins away and it's about a 15 min walk to the Kingston shops/foreshore. The bedroom has a good sized wardrobe and a nice view. There is a double bed mattress available if you would like to use that. The bathroom is shared. It is quite large with a separate bath and lots of storage. There is a giant water heater so no issues with cold showers :) The living room has floor to ceiling windows out onto the balcony which is nice and leafy. The communal areas of the flat are pretty much fully furnished, but I'm happy to try and make room if you would like to bring anything along. There is a smart tv and happy to share a Netflix account The kitchen is a good size and I have all the basics; appliances, dishes etc. and there is a dishwasher. I just don't have a microwave but if you want to bring one that would be fine. Separate laundry w storage, washer and dryer. There is no air conditioning but the apartment stays pretty cool and we were fine last summer just occasionally using fans. There are wall heaters in the living room/bedrooms. Parking I am already using the allocated undercover parking space for the flat. There is lots of on-street parking around the complex, however most of this is max 2 hours during weekday working hours. There is a row of all day street parking just across the road. My previous housemates have not needed to leave their car during the day so I am not certain how hard it is to get one of these spots. I have checked with the building management if any of the spots in the undercover carpark are available but I am just waiting for their response. I will update this listing when I have this info.
One room in a gorgeous modern house available in Crace. The house is a four bedroom, two bathroom house; sharing with two mid-twenties ladies, two dog and two cats. The pets are part of the family so loving animals is an absolute must 🙂 Bills and rent are split evenly. The house has effective heating and cooling, NBN wifi, dishwasher in the lovely open kitchen and is totally furnished except for the bedroom. It is only a ten minute walk to Crace shops where you'll find a great supabarn, two cafes, a gym, a bar/restaurant, hair salon, massage parlour and takeaway. Ten minute drive to Gungahlin and Belconnen and fifteen to Civic. The neighbourhood is a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood with lots of parks and a running/ walking trail that goes right past the house. Our street only has houses on one side of the street, with the other side an open park. This makes it a very quiet place to live with lots of parking.
