Yard is a normal sized yard, full of fruit trees and grape vines. Recently sub divided with new house being built at the back. Rain water available to drink. Small courtyard outside of back door which secluded from the rest of the yard with grapevines and fence, filled with pot plants and the smell of sweet grapes. There is only on road parking on a side street next to the house. The area is a quiet area, and the house is usually quiet, unless I am in a cleaning mood, and the vacuum and music come on to inspire the cleaning mood/ spirit/ Unless of course you are a night shift worker. The house is located between the ocean and the city. So a few minutes drive and you can either be swimming or shopping. House is an older style house with thick double brick walls which help block out all sound giving a quiet living environment. Quiet area of Richmond. Large yard with fruit trees and vines. Lots of animal life. House is close to shops (Hilton Centro) and bus stops on Marion RD, Richmond RD, South RD and Sir Donald Bradman RD. House is close to airport and IKEA. Very close to city with a 3 minute drive! Close to shops and 10 minutes to airport! There is one off street park so whoever Is home first everyday can take it! There is a generous sized pool (which not many people use)! Bins are taken out every week by a paid worker (included in rent). Great air conditioning which often works almost too well.. we pay $60 per month for unlimited internet ( so will be $30 each). First of all, it is located in central to the city, beach and airport and easy to get to the southern expressway. Also it is very close to shops, nice cafes and pubs. Secondly, the house itself, it is a Victorian house, has spacy a front and back yard, which are lovely for baking in the sun. The room that is available for has got a wall robe only, but you can bring your own furniture and decorate your space as yours. In the kitchen we have a dinner table, a fridge and freezer, a microwave, and other basic cooking tools as well as loads of mugs. In the laundry area, there is a washing machine and a portable wall robe where you can put your washing power and stuff. We also have a little shed at the back yard where you can store your stuff in. Most of all, air-conditioning and heater work perfectly. Finally, Rent will be $117 with a huge built in robe followed by quarterly electricity, gas and water bills. We also have internet connection, which is $17.50 per month for unlimited data plan. We get our lawn mowed every month, which is $7.50 each. We have a house inspection every 3 months. We have a rotation for cleaning for sharing areas such as lounge room, kitchen area, bathroom and floors.

Located half way between the beach and the city it's a perfect location. Chuck in the added bonus that you can walk to/from the airport just like in the movie The Castle - however there is no runway on the back porch. I bought this unit a few years ago and have yet to live in it myself as I have been living in Europe and Melbourne in the last few years. When purchased I did some repainting, fixing up of the kitchen & I have recently installed a large 3.5 kW reverse cycle air-conditioner. Both bedrooms have built in robes and can fit either a king size bed in the main room or queen in second bedroom. One bathroom/shower to share which is a little small but I intend to remove the bathtub to allow more space. Small living space but ideal for a unit of only 2 people. Downstairs is a communal clothes line, otherwise there is also space to hang inside on portable clothes rack or by the front door. The great points about this property is that there will be NO inspections - but keeping that in mind generally speaking I would prefer a tidy housemate but I am not too fussy about things. Cycle to the city in 20 minutes along the river or otherwise there is public transport nearby. Off street parking or under cover - I don't own a car currently but will purchase at some point later this year. Flexible with length of stay to some extent - ideally minimum 3 months.
