Furnishing is entirely flexible, but as per the photos, the bed, lighting, TV and PS4 in the bedroom can be included if you wish. Quiet area right near the river, super close to transport. It is a 5-minute ferry trip to UQ or about 20 minutes to South Bank. There is a bus stop about 50 metres away with buses to the city/south bank. The unit is cozy and easy to clean, with tiles throughout. The neighbours are quiet, mostly families. We have a balcony that is accessible via the bedrooms, with an outdoor setting. You can also connect to Telstra air from the balcony (which is unlimited internet if you're a Telstra customer). The room also comes with a chest of drawers, a single bed and a desk if you want it. All the rooms have fans which were enough to keep the house pretty cool in summer. The water is included in the rent but electricity is not. It is about $100/quarter. There is a courtyard out the back of the building with clotheslines; the laundromat is about a 15-minute walk up the street unless you're interested in buying a small machine that would fit in the hall cupboard. The area is beautiful and green and a popular biking/jogging spot; I feel safe walking around at night. There is also a night bus, which runs all night on weekends, will take you from Fortitude Valley to the stop 50 metres from home. Aldi is a 10-15 minute walk (a little quicker by bus - the 60 stop is right outside it), and the Davies Park markets on a Saturday are a great place to go for fresh veggies without too much plastic. The markets are about 20 minutes walk, the bus stops right near the entrance. Storage will include a shelf in the hall cupboard, a rack in the fridge/freezer, drawer in the bathroom.
