About the area: Mount Ainslie is behind our house and you can walk up it via a ridge that also runs along in front of the house, with lots of pretty birds and kangaroos. We are in between Dickson and Ainslie shops (a 5 min ride either direction, or you can take the bus), and there’s a bus that goes to the city/ANU directly opposite our house. Otherwise, the bike path is just a few metres from our house, is a pretty ride through the wetlands and takes about 10-15 minutes to get to Civic. The suburb has nice wide streets and is a relaxing haven from the city, while also feeling very close to everything.

I'm looking for someone to take my place in a lovely home near the centre of Belconnen. It's easy to find and just a short walk up the road from the Hawker Shops. The house is spacious, with friendly people already living there (as well as two dogs in the backyard), and the rent is $235 paid fortnightly on a Friday, with bills paid evenly by all the tenants. My room is quite spacious too with a built-in-robe with a little desk in the middle. And it has a nice view of the backyard as well. There's also a space out the front for you to park your car, and have guests to park theirs.
