The room is unfurnished w/ built in wardrobe, but the entire house is completely furnished, including a very well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, TV in the living room, there is a split A/C unit in the living room. Also being on the top floor keeps a lot of air moving through as we are right above the trees. There are windows on two sides of the apartment, which allows the unit to be flooded with light, it's my favourite part :) In the picture the room is furnished, but it comes unfurnished. Plenty of room for a queen bed (or smaller) a bookshelf and or dresser, pretty good size built in wardrobe and large window. Sorry pets not allowed, building rule :/
Great apartment in the St Kilda end of Elwood, easy walk to public transport, shops and the beach. Apartment is light filled and fully furnished with open plan lounge/dining and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine etc. You wont need to bring anything for the main areas, but if you have stuff you'd like to bring I'm happy to compromise. The bedroom is unfurnished and there is a large double wardrobe. The room comfortably fits a queen size bed and desk currently. The block itself has 9 apartments (so fairly small) and isn't much of a looker from the outside but the apartment is very comfortable and bigger than expected inside. The living/kitchen area is air conditioned and heated. It has been great in both summer and winter. Parking is on street and doesn't require a permit. I've never had to park more than a hundred metres or so away at the absolute worst Looking to split bills and there is unlimited internet already installed. TV has got netflix, youtube, music etc installed It is an 8 minute walk to the Acland St tram stop where there is a shopping centre that has Coles and Woolworths. It is a 12 mins walk to Ripponlea station. Will take some pictures in the daylight soon, it looks much better! Room is 3.1m X 3m not including the built in robes.

Close to bus trains and trams 10 min walk. Village feel but close to St Kilda and CBD.
We have a lovely and spacious 3 bedroom, character filled 50's-60's era apartment, in the beautiful neighbourhood of Elwood. The apartment is fully furnished with mostly modern furniture and decor styling, with hints of vintage wares. With white walls and wooden parquetry flooring throughout, the windows in main areas are all floor to ceiling, so we're blessed with plenty of sunlight throughout the day. The lounge room is very spacious - with morning sunlight steaming in - leading out to a balcony that faces the (neighbourhood traffic only) tree-lined street. The kitchen is spacious, with large dining table, cooking/kitchen appliances, dishwasher, plenty of cupboard and bench space, and two lovely leafy window outlooks. The bathroom is shared with a bath, separate shower and laundry area (including washing machine). Toilet is separate to bathroom, both have good ventilation, and both have cool retro mosaic floor tiling. There is a great central gas heater, so it never gets cold. Untimed street car parking is readily available if you have a car, otherwise trains, trams and buses are just 1 block away. We are on the border of St Kilda/Elwood, so we're close to St Kilda Botanic Gardens, Carlisle and Acland Streets, and St Kilda Rd. And an easy 10min walk to the beach. We take pride in making the apartment our home - and love to keep the space mess/clutter free, and cleanliness of a high standard :)

We have a new fridge, dishwasher, kitchen and appliances, renovated bathroom with walk in shower, 2 toilets, laundry, garden, garage. A bath is currently being installed in the laundry area. The garage is used for storage. You can park on the street with no restrictions. The rent is 250 per week, which is $1083 per month + $70 per month for bills.
The house is located in a quiet and hidden haven right up the road from the beach and the Elwood village Tumeric latte strip. It comes with a Bose sound system and all the kind of conveniences a first world denizen would need. The room is massive with a huge walk-in wardrobe and shared ensuite. The ensuite is shared with another flatmate who is NEVER here but who maintains the room to keep her parents placated. Other than that, it is me downstairs and my daughter who is here occasionally on the weekends for a night. NO COUPLES. Sorry, but the bills get ridiculous if there are two of you.
