We are looking for a new housemate to take a room that is currently available in our lovely art deco style house. The house is quite spacious and has several living areas so there wil be plenty of opportunity for privacy. The room is quite "roomy" and has a generously sized built in robe. It has a double east facing window, floorboards and connection for TV antenna. We are looking for someone that is on their late 20's or older as we all are in our 30's. We are looking for someone friendly that has experience at sharing a house and that can pay rent. If you are into gardening, it's a plus because there is plenty of space to grow plants. There are 4 garden beds plus lots more space to plant veggies. There are also several stablished fruit trees in the property including apples, grapes, lemons, mandarins, oranges, grapefruit and apricot. So much potential in this garden. There is also a huge garage in case you need extra storage space and a lovely open undercover area in the back, great for entertaining and having a bbq, breakfast or lunch on a nice sunny day. There are two toilets and one bathroom. We are not nazis when it comes to cleaning but we do like to keep things liveable, specially the most common areas like kitchen and bathroom. Sometimes we do communal cleaning sessions but generally each one of us just cleans or maintains whatever part of the house needs attention. The house is furnished but not the room. There is still space for a couch or table here and there, so if you have extra furniture, sure we can reshuffle things here or store it in the garage. We also have appliances and utensils that you are welcome to share with us. Once again if you have some of your own we can make them fit in or store them. This is not a party house but we are not nuns either, we like to have a wine/beer and play some music sometimes but generally it's nice and quiet and we respect the others schedule. If you smoke is fine as long as it happens outside. There is no smoking inside the house, plus the backyard area is lovely to hang out in. There is a kitty that kind of belongs to the house and we look after her, she is lovely, super friendly and you will barely see her. The room is $813 a month plus bills which average to about $70 a month. Bond is $800.
