I am a self reliant, driven, mature women (+60), looking for another mature woman of similar age/life experience, who is self-reliant/independent with a full life of their own and is respectful and aware of their own responsibility within a share house but independent living environment.
The house is in a quiet area, it’s compact, clean & comfortable but don’t expect mod cons – this house too is ‘old school’. House is furnished throughout and room is unfurnished. Some small items of furniture may be available for use if needed. Share use of all other whitegoods. No further room for furniture/appliances beyond what the rooms can hold. Some additional storage available but space is limited, and only you can best determine if space is viable.
North facing room: 3.0W x 3.9L x 2.7H with full height built in robe 2.7m wide and full width window that looks onto rear back yard.
Sunny rear yard (maintenance free). On Hurstbridge train line with great access to trams, buses and Melbourne Polytechnic. Bills low as gas heating, cooking and hot water. Great location to parks and High St Northcote & Station St Fairfield shopping etc. Share use of all common areas and equal share of expenses.

Individual living arrangements, so we do our own food shopping, cleaning etc but are sociable and present when we all meet again after our daily events. I am vego, and 420 fan, & another young woman 27 just moved in & will be here until end April this year.
I am 'old school' when it involves technology and left of centre. At crossroads with working & personal life and often travel interstate for family reasons. I will often play music through the day, respecting other housemates need for peace & quiet. I see live bands as my social outing and I like being physically fit through house domestics, gym work & walking.
New housemate is here from America working as a Project Officer at La Trobe Uni.
Note that house tenure here is short for reasons that can be explained later, this may suit someone looking for a short rental space as an in between home.
