A cheap 24/7 gym is at the end of our street and a tiny coffee shop just opend on our street. Our street is generelly quiet and has lots of parking possibilities. Coles, Aldi and more shops, and the newmarkez movie are only 4 minutes away by car. Our house has solar pannels on the roof, thus we payed currently 55$ electricity per quarter (each). It a really nice place quite close to the CBD and door to door to a big park. Roommates are lovely and tidy people and we are approximately 1k away from RBWH, so a lot of buses available if you walk ten minutes but we also have a station 100m away. A couple of minutes away is a market for vegetables etc. which is every Sunday.
The unit is a great 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit with heaps of room. You'll get your own spacious bathroom which is pretty great! The unit is super breezy which is great heading into summer because it keeps quite cool. Ideally, you'll be someone who keeps the kitchen clean – I'm not a neat freak, but I do like all dishes to be done and for the counter to be wiped down haha. Vinny, Thiago and I live in the top floor apartment of a six apartment block. The apartment is spacious with awesome views. There's double glass doors that open onto the balcony allowing a constant view and airflow. And we get daily sunsets and sunrises :) We have the place decorated funky yet relaxed and its our happy place :) I will be going overseas at the beginning of December so am renting my room out whilst I am gone, I will be gone for approximately 6 weeks and am quite flexible on dates that the room can be available. One other housemate will be away also, so you will only be living with one other person. I will clear my clothes and personal items out, so you will have hanging space, a set of drawers and a lovely and comfortable queen size bed. There is a bus right outside our apartment block that goes straight into the Valley, as well as train stations just a 5 minute stroll away. Both Toombul and Lutwyche shops are close by as well and plenty of cafes and restaurants around the area. Also if you need a gym, there are several around the area as well.
