UQ Gatton Student Accommodation - With a Difference..
3 rooms available for 2026 year..
A large ranch style home on acreage at Laidley Heights with 360 deg views overlooking Laidley to the east, the Uni to the north and west to Gatton and the Toowoomba range.
5 large east facing bedrooms. All will accommodate a queen sized bed, desk, chair, and other essential bedroom furniture with room to move. Additional spare rooms create a really spacious environment.
Furnished common areas include large kitchen with ample fridge and pantry space (a must in share houses). Also two bathrooms and toilets directly accessible by all.
Originally set up for our daughter and friends completing the final three years of Vet Science degree when the school was moved out from St Lucia to Gatton in 2010, we have continued providing a superior offering and have many happy past graduates/tenants over the past 16 years.
We believe we have the mix just about right, but are open to input from students as to how we can improve their experience while studying.
Electricity, water, gas, wood, landline, unlimited High speed internet, and grounds maintenance are included in the weekly rent of $180 per room.
Our aim is to continue to provide economical student accommodation but with an above average experience.
Approx 10 mins to UQ campus, and worth the drive.
Large fenced area allows keeping of pets (by negotiation - a little hard to keep them away with a house full of animal loving students - lets discuss your needs).
Some Bedroom furniture available, however we found most prefer to bring their own.
Will suit keen students, first year to graduation, willing to pitch in and share this rather unique home. 3 rooms currently available for 2026. (currently 1st & 2nd yr Vet Science/Vet Tech students)
