* Internet (no fixed line connection, but you can purchase your own portable wifi or mobile broadband dongle).

FLATMATE EXPECTATIONS:

This is what you can expect from me, and what I also expect from you in return.

1. QUIET

This apartment is perfect for students who are looking for a quiet, peaceful space to study or to rest without interruption. It is also very suitable for neurodiverse individuals who value low-stimulation environments. It is NOT suitable for entertaining or throwing parties.

If my flatmate is home, i put on headphones to listen to music or to watch movies , and I conduct my phone calls/conversations at a respectful volume. I expect the same degree of consideration from my future flatmate.

Quiet hours are 11pm - 8am weekdays, and negotiable on weekends. No cooking is to be done during this time.

2. CLEAN AND TIDY

A. Cleaning roster: Responsibility for cleaning the common areas is shared between the flatmates. You will be provided with a cleaning roster and a checklist of what needs to be cleaned inside that room.

At inspection, you will have an opportunity to enquire about housekeeping standards and to see for yourself how clean the common areas are. This is the standard that must be maintained for the duration of your lease.

B. In this household, we clean up after ourselves promptly and without being reminded. If you are someone who automatically wipes down the kitchen bench and stove top after every use, washes their dishes promptly, and takes the rubbish out when they see it is full, then we will get along well.

If you’re someone who is thorough and conscientious when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness, then please apply.

3. OVERNIGHT GUESTS

Overnight guests are not permitted. This is the landlord's rule (not mine) and is part of the lease agreement.
