Hi, I'm Ellie.

I'm looking for like a like-minded person or people to live with. I can afford about $400/wk.

WORK: I work FT, with some WFH when work permits. Work is Mon-Fri 8-5, with rare overtime.

LIFESTYLE: Quiet, chill household.

I like bushwalking, reading fiction and non fiction, cooking, and playing video games. I have a Nintendo Switch & many controllers, which can live in the lounge or in my room pending if housemate/s are or are not interested in gaming.

I send half of my weekend out with my family and friends, 1/4 online with friends, and 1/4 meal prepping and cleaning and prepping for the week. During the week I eat, sleep, work, repeat.

PET: 1x Cat. Hannah is a domestic shorthair and a rescue. She is very well trained using her litter box always, and is cuddly and friendly, though occasionally shy.

I have a stroller so I can take her out and get her some fresh air and variety in life. If you have a smaller side cat or dog, you're welcome to use it too.

PARTNER: would come over on occasion and I'd go to his on occasion. Our lives are set up right now, so we have no near future plans to move in together. He also works FT. He is also quiet, respectful and works FT.

FRIENDS: some of my friends live interstate and overseas. When they visit, I have a couch they can sleep on. So far have had 1 friend use the couch since buying it 1 year ago. I don't mind if the pull out couch is in the lounge or in my office. Whatever works? I typically go out to see people.

VICES: I am unfazed if you smoke or vape or 420, however don't use it myself.
I occasionally drink a whisky, beer, wine or cocktail, depending the reason for celebration and company drinking with. I am addicted to coffee, bitter delicious coffee. No drugs.

Pro: I have a COSTCO membership and a deep freezer. My meals are ridiculous cheap and if you wanted them to be, so could yours.

Con: I may ruin you for other housemates. Like drinking a proper Barista coffee all week, then trying to drink a McDonalds coffee, it just wont be the same.

I am laid back, easy to get along with, fairly quite but will have chats. I'm respectful of personal space, and in the nicest way don't care what your gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or anything else is. You can be anyone that isn't an ass, and we should get along fine :P

I do not shy from a necessary conversation - I'm not a fan of giving or receiving passive aggressive notes or other non helpful methods of conflict resolution. Respectful communication with positive intent is key. Just talk to me, I'm very approachable.
