Hello Perth

I am 35 years old and a Registered Nurse specialising in Mental Health with a background in Emergency and Critical Care.

I've done a career change and am currently doing a carpentry apprenticeship in the wollongong area. I grew up in Wollongong but have lived overseas a few times and in a bunch of different spots around oz.

I have a big creative bug as I am a bit of a musician in my spare time and an entertainer, having been plugging an interactive musical comedy show about consciousness to festivals before Covid hit (shameless plug 😅).

I've got a huge passion for social and cultural change and love being part of a community having founded a branch of the non-profit One Wave initiative 'Fluro Fridays' back in my hometown of Wollongong that combats the stigma of mental health with bright colours and funky surfing session.

I'm well travelled having lived abroad in the U.K. and Canada, as I love interacting with people and this wide world of ours! I truly cherish my own space and that of others, as pretty much all my pursuits creatively and professionally are about keeping the peace & making people feel great 😃.

In my downtime I surf heaps, jam, exercise a lot, read/write poetry, hike, love cooking goood food, love my animals (especially dogs but I don't have one), learning to be handy 🔨 and enjoy spinning thready webs with some frothies over the fire!

I'm looking for anything really in this lovely slice of West Coast Life.
