Hey! Putting an expression of interest out there for preferably a self contained granny flat/unit, or own bedroom & bathroom sharing with 1/2 people, for myself and my precious girl Aspen (pictured). Would love something around the hinterland but am happy to be more coastal with the right people at a good house.
Bit about us:
I work part time in disability support, love all things music and art, I paint/draw you name it, a plus if you can deal with having tunes on while I’m home as I’m am a sucker for alternative metal, dnb, psytrance, indie rock, old school and everything in between (I will however leave promptly upon hearing the very mentions of Taylor Swift or anything along those lines, sorry). I’m very active so outdoor exercise area or walking tracks nearby is a plus, I’m not a huge drinker so not big on a party house but won’t mind a bev or two on occasion! I’m big on clean eating and low-tox living (not a crazy vegan though pls don’t come for me) and also an ex-chef so if you love good eats when I can be bothered getting in the kitchen, I’m your gal. I’ll be starting study in mental health in the new year as well, so would love if I live with others to have study buddies or a chilled area for me to procrastinate and likely do everything at the last minute in.
Aspen is a Catahoula leopard dog X, with the most beautiful temperament. She is gentle and loves pretty much everyone, great with kids and other gentle dogs. She is fully toilet trained, isn’t loud and loves a cuddle. She is my bestest friend and partner in crime so she comes with me pretty much everywhere, when I work the occasional night shift she joins me so the only times she will be home alone is when I work days (2-3x per week). A good, enclosed yard is a must, happy to live without other dogs however no cats, unless you have shares in Kleenex because I will buy out an entire grocery store of tissues if I’m around a cat.

My budget is flexible for the right place, hoping around the $350 mark (or below, duh). I’m fit and I love gardening, helping out and keeping busy so am willing to trade outdoor work or cleaning for a lower price in rent as well!
I’m not in desperate need of a place, so not stressed over your timelines and happy to work with that. Just seeing if the right place finds me :)
