I arrived in Melbourne in June 2023 to conduct research at RMIT. Currently, I'm in search of a 3-bedroom house suitable for my small family, which consists of my wife, son, and mother. We prefer a rental property close to public transportation with secure parking. My wife, an IT professional, will be starting her new job on May 14, 2024. Our 8-year-old son will be residing with us, and although my mother plans to visit during our stay, she won't be present for the entire duration. We don't have any pets nor do we plan to get any. Currently, I share accommodation with a flatmate found through the same app, paying $250 per week. While I'm not on the lease, I can provide proof of my rental history through bank statements and a declaration from my flatmate.
