Hi, my name is Alex! I'm a 27yr old femme non-binary person. I like arts & crafts, movies, and music. I spend my time watching movies, writing, and learning crochet. I have been in sharehouses since 2020, so I know how to communicate easily and kindly, clean communal areas to satisfaction, and respect housemates (interpersonally of course, but also, whether that's with noise standards, cleanliness standards, or just being able to respectfully put across what changes might need to be made - I'm more than happy to listen!). I'm also happy to spend time with my housemates, whether cooking meals, or spending time in the backyard, or completely separate - up to you. As for me, I'm a ridiculously creative person, but also disabled - which means some days you just might not see me, because chronic fatigue demands I stay in bed, lol. I'm hoping to start studying by mid-year, but it will depend on how I go physically. So we'll see! But yes, I'm happy to keep a chore board for communal cleaning, regular house chats to make sure everything is running smoothly, and to keep an online group chat where we can all bring up anything that needs to be discussed.

My deeper story is that I've been couchsurfing/staying with friends for the last few months, because I've wanted to move from Melbourne(currently living there) to Brisbane, NSW, or South Australia. So I'm looking for a sharehouse in one of these states that isn't looking for a formal (meaning, I guess, company?) agreement instead of a lease, because prior to staying with friends, I was living with family. So my references aren't worth much, sadly. I'm looking for six months minimum in a new household.

I have listed my ideal living locations, however they are indicative of the furthest places I'm willing to live (as far as Ipswich on the West side, but flatmates said it's out of my range, lol) I'm happy to live anywhere from Burpengary to Beenleigh, Ipswich to Cleveland. Essentially anywhere in Brisbane is good for me.

If you're willing to do an online inspection (seeing as I'm interstate) and let me know afterwards if I'm your style, please let me know. I'm available from the 14th of January afterwards. Sadly, due to money constraints (I may have loaned money to the 'wrong' people before knowing I'd have to move so soon, lol), I can only afford $400 maximum bond (unless you're happy with a payment plan).
