Gloria

Hi! I’m Gloria from Indonesia. This is my second year in Australia, and I relocated to the Newcastle area last December.

My background:
I used to work in an advertising agency as a creative writer.
Now I’m a working holiday maker working in hospitality, and I’ve been doing café jobs for the past two years.

About me:

I enjoy small talk and I’m a good listener — you’re welcome to tell me about your day if you’re comfortable. At the same time, I’m mindful of boundaries and won’t bother you if you look busy or prefer to stay in your room. I truly value and respect your personal space.

I love studying foreign languages and new cultures through engaging conversations and embracing new experiences.

A neat space helps keep my mind calm and organized.

My introverted self enjoys alone time (reading, watching k-dramas, cooking).
My extroverted sides love exploring the city, shopping, and hanging out with friends.

An added bonus would be having a friendly housemate to hang out with occasionally. I moved to Newcastle on my own, so I’d be really grateful to make new friends — but I’m also great at enjoying my own company :)
