Hey guys, recently got a transfer with work to Newcastle and will be moving within the next month. I work in retail so my shifts can vary from day-night, but I still love to make time for myself and socialising, going out for a drink or just chilling at home with friends and a wine :) I'm from England originally and have lived in Tamworth NSW for almost 7 years. Love meeting new people and making new friends, I'm a fairly outgoing and fun person and definitely love having a drink or two. Ideally looking for a place I can move into fairly quickly (furnished is a preference but not set in stone), with some laid back, friendly housemates like myself. Thanks guys and hope to hear from you soon!
Hey I'm Mil, I'm 22 and I'm looking to move closer to town. I'm a student down at JMC Academy in Ultimo, I commute down two days a week and am working in both retail and hospitality around my studies. Because of the nature of my degree I don't mind a quiet one in with a bottle of Pinot noir but i'll never turn down a big night at the cambo. I'm in possession of a premium netflix account that you're more than welcome to share. ps. (I come with a thermomix and a real good scones recipe)
I spend my time going to the beach, surfing, training Muay Thai, doing yoga, cooking veggo food, reading and seeing live music. I'm keen on healthy eating + buying from the Farmers Market. Also pretty comfortable with dumpster diving! I'm moving out of an established beachy sharehouse in Newcastle. I have access to heaps of cool furniture, plants and house appliances that would be perfect for a new property.
I'm a fun placid 19 year old, I'm studying primary education at the University of Newcastle. Looking for a tidy place with friendly, tidy room mates. :)
Hi, I’m Hayley and I’m a 29 year old Primary School teacher. I’m an easy going, fun and relaxed person who also likes to be organised, clean and tidy! I love a good Netflix sesh, coffee, a wine or 3, photography and taking in Newcastle’s views with a walk along the beach! I’m looking for a house that will be a home where we all get along and can socialise but also respect each other’s space when needed. ☺️
Hello! We are a couple in our mid-twenties from Sydney who will be moving to Newcastle/Hunter Region. I am studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science in Sydney and work part-time, will be transferring to the University of Newcastle, Callaghan campus. My partner currently works full-time, and enjoys the outdoors, but likes his down time as well. We are quiet people, neat and tidy, we won't mind sharing the house chores or having a chat :). Our preferred accommodation would be in a flat or house sharing with 1 or 2 others preferably in a quiet household, a 1 bedroom granny flat, unit or the like.
21 year old moving to the Newcastle area. Looking for a room to rent at a maximum price of $200 including bills and maybe wifi until I get more settled in, also a room with no furniture as I have my own. Only looking at a maximum 6 months. A bit about - I’m easy going, enjoy spending time with friends and also love going to the beach as I am from the country. I love meeting new people and going out now and again. I like things clean and tidy. I’m a non smoker and can’t really live with pets inside especially cats as i am allergic to some animal furs (massive pain in the butt as I do love animals). If you would like to know anything else or think I would suit your home, let me know.
Hi! I'm a full time Bio-med student and work part time as a waitress. I'm an easy going individual looking for some like minded people to potentially live with! I'm a clean and sociable person who enjoys having a chat. I'm not a huge drinker/partier but don't mind enjoying a few on weekends, I love heading to the beach and gym around my semi-hectic uni/work schedule.
We are a young outgoing couple interested in the outdoors, gym, and travelling. Hugo is in his final year of electrical engineering at UON and working part-time. Alex has just finished studying and is currently seeking full time employment. We aim to move out in 1-2 months once Alex has settled in to her job. We are very easy to live with as we have lived in shared spaces before. We are clean, respectful, honest, and understand the importance of privacy.
I'm a final year pharmacy student who also works part time at a pharmacy. Tidy person with complete respect for personal space and belongings. Interests include music, outdoors and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Not much of a drinker, but can make a killer mojito :)
I'm a 4th year medical student new to Newcastle looking for somewhere to live during the remainder of the semester. I'm originally from Sydney but I've lived in sharehouses in Armidale for the past 3years and I was recently living in Sweden for 6months. I am on placement at the John Hunter Hospital and generally spend most of the day there throughout the week. I'm very active and I go to the gym regularly. I also play volleyball and football (soccer) socially. I am easy-going and fairly neat. I tend to keep myself especially with studying but I'm always keen to get around a bit of banter, sport and trashy reality TV shows.
I'm Gibs, an international student, working par-time. Looking for a place to live, having a nice atmosphere and standard facilities where i can have my own space as well as a place for social mingling. Thanks
Scotty, 20 from Lambton, I’m a pub & club guard and also work in a pub casually as my second job. My usual routine is starting work in the arvo / night, I finish and get home in the early hours of the morning anywhere from 1:30 to 4 but I’m a very respectful person I wouldn’t make noise when I do get home! I’m on top of my tidiness & cleanliness!! I’m not a fan of mess lol, non smoker but doesn’t bother me if I live with smokers. When I’m not working I’m either usually catching up on my sleep and watch a bit of Netflix or being social catching up with mates for a feed and a beer or similar. I have a easy going attitude friendly and genuine person.
My name is Adam, 28 and full time worker as a carpenter. I’d say I’m great to live with because I’m a tidy person (not OCD or anything) I’m never home much as I work full time, train 4-5 days a week and also study part time and am respectful of others space. But when I am home I don’t mind checking out a new Netflix series, or few casual drinks on the weekend. I’m a pretty chilled easy going person, no pets, don’t smoke and no children. Look forward to hearing from you 😊✌🏼
Hey guys I am looking for a new place to live from basically anytime soon, but do not need to rush out urgently. Bit about me... from Germany but moved around quite a bit, since half a year living in Newy. I am doing my PhD at the UoN, so am called a student but not really feeling like one - apart from being poor ;) thereofe i would prefer not living in a student accom as i basically work fulltime. Non-smoker, easy going, pretty tidy, love to head to the gym or lie around and and tan. Would love to live with not too many people who are easy going and up for a chat or drink sometimes. Love to be around people but also need me-time and just chill in my room with netflix. Hit me up if you feel like we could get along and you got a room to rent :)
Hi, My name is Marissa and my partner Matt and I are looking at moving in together from mid-August. We both currently live in separate share houses. We are looking at the possibility of renting a three-bedroom house and sharing with another person. We are looking for a person who may be interested in sharing with us and becoming a future flatmate and hopefully friends. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws/Communication at the University of Newcastle and am in my fourth year at university. I work part-time as a youth support worker in Out of Home Care. I enjoy living an active lifestyle, am outgoing and make friends easily. I'm a hard worker and like to keep myself busy. I go to the gym four times a week and enjoy the beach and visiting my parents on the Central Coast and in Sydney when I have free weekends as well as camping. I enjoy reading and watching movies and will be in Europe from mid-June to mid-August this year travelling. I've lived out of home since starting university, spending two years on college and the last 18 months in a share house with friends. I'd love a workout or study buddy, I'm very close friends with my current housemate! That being said also happy with someone who is content sucking to themselves! Matt works full time as a fence installer; his hours are between 5:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday so he is not home much during the week. Whilst he is up early he is extremely quiet and rarely hear him leave. He is currently also living in a share house. On weekends he enjoys motorbike riding, fishing and a quiet beer or two. We are a laid back couple who rarely argue and get along well with each other as well as everyone else. We have our own friends outside our relationship and don't mind doing our own thing. Whilst a couple we have different interests and aren't joined at the hip. We don't go out a lot other than for the occasional dinner. It wouldn't be a party house but we wouldn't mind having friends around for a BBQ or dinner and a few drinks. We’re always up for a movie night! We are both mature, clean and courteous and looking for someone who is similar. As well as someone who cleans up after themselves we'd be also looking for a person who is willing to participate in general cleaning of the house on a regular basis to keep things clean, tidy and hygienic. This would include basics such as cleaning of bathrooms, mopping, dusting and vacuuming of other common areas etc. We'd each be responsible for our own rooms. Matt is a keen gardener and mower so it's unlikely we'd have to worry about outside. In the share house I live in we currently have a roster but happy to discuss different options. It would be the perfect place for someone studying or working fulltime who has possibly lived out of home before, wants to be social and likes some company but also to do their own thing. We'd like someone with a steady job or secure means to pay rent and bills. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in please contact us! I'd be looking to set one of the rooms up as a study/guest room so we are happy to split whatever the rent is three ways. Matt goes to bed early due to work and I often either finish work late or study late so will need a separate space. Matt and I both have savings and a stable income to purchase furniture and appliances so you'd only have to worry about furnishing your own room. Bills would additionally be split three ways - we'd like someone who is conscious when it comes to electricity as nobody likes seeing money wasted. Our max budget for a house overall would be an approx $510 - $170 each. We would prefer no pets not because we don't like animals but it makes finding a rental extremely difficult. We're happy to provide references of what we are like to live with! If this sounds like something you may be interested in please contact us to discuss further the possibility further!
Heyyoo, Im looking for a room anywhere in Newy really! Studying Primary teaching at UoN, working at before and after school care centres and volunteering reading to kids on the side😊 Sporty, easy going and doesn't mind a cold one here and there. Contacts would be handy, cheers!
