Importantly, I am empathetic, willing to communicate with others, respectful, and clean.
I am a PhD student at UNSW majoring in ecological statistics. I have good sanitary habits and am easy-going to get along with, liking making friends worldwide. In my spare time, I prefer to listen to music, play badminton, and cook (I have been trying to eat healthily all the time). I can speak Chinese and English. I can live with pets since I am keeping a Chinese dog in my hometown. Most of the time, I will stay at the university except for Sunday, and I may have a flexible arrangement on Saturday. I am not noisy and won't disturb you unless we plan to hang out together. My ideal flatmates are better off not being so loud and having the desire to keep the house we live in clean and tidy together. By the way, I plan to cook for myself most of the time, so there must be a kitchen. The property location should be within walking distance from the UNSW, less than fifteen minutes is the best.
Experiences in Australia: I have been in Australia for about one and a half years. During this period, I lived with a girl from Poland for the first six months, and then with an Australian guy from February this year until now. I have built good relationships with both. Living with others has taught me a lot, including resolving conflicts while maintaining my own boundaries, showing understanding when cultural differences arise, and being supportive when others need help. These experiences have helped me transition from being a student to becoming a more mature adult.
Although there are many conditions above, I know what I am finding: Looking for a home, which is cozy and has respectful flatmates, not just a room. It must be a place where I enjoy and can relax myself.
In conclusion, the feeling of being comfortable is more important than the above conditions.
