A couple looking to find a room somewhere. Our current lease is up on the 5th of March and we would like to move sometime after that (we potentially have somewhere we can stay until we find suitable long term accommodation). Max rent we would like to pay is $320/week total ($160 each per week) but would prefer around $280/week total). We have been house-sharing for a year near Parramatta and are looking to move closer to our university campus (UNSW). Kiegan is working part-time (currently 4 days a week) and Kira is able to choose to work 2 - 6 days a week. Looking to share with someone who is independent and easygoing, with a clean and tidy home. Proximity to public transport would be a plus and we also need a pet friendly house (2 lovely cats). Preferably somewhere that does not get TOO hot (our current flat gets over 40 degrees inside). Unfurnished room is preferred as we have a bedroom set up already, we have a fridge and washing machine we can bring with us or just sell and we also have our own kitchen items (crockery, cutlery, etc). Kiegan studies a Bachelor of Fine Arts at UNSW Art and Design and Kira studies Social Work & Criminology. We have always consistently paid rent on time and have had experience with uncooperative house mates and will not put you through that stress. Please get in touch if you may have something available or any questions.
Hi, I’m moving up from Melbourne for a change of job and will be looking to move in early/mid February. I’ve been working full time for one year as an economist in the Victorian Government and will be starting a job at a bank in Sydney for 2017. But despite that, I am a pretty interesting guy (or so I think). I’m 24 years old and I’ve recently lived in Canberra for 5 years and Melbourne for 1 year, but originally grew up in Melbourne. I speak Indonesian and am currently learning Chinese. I eat almost nothing but asian food and rarely cook, so you don’t have to worry about me hogging the kitchen. I love travelling and have recently started doing salsa and bachata dancing. As a housemate I’m very laid back and pretty much only come home to sleep, although if I bump into another housemate I always end up chatting for hours. I’d love to have some housemates that I can be friends with since I’ll be moving to Sydney as a newbie but as long as everyone is on friendly terms I’m happy. And I’m pretty chilled out about bills and such things!
Hi, My name is Aaron, im 26, a Non-smoker, no pets, tidy and respectful room mate. I have an interest in science/engineering, getting into a gym routine this year and possibly learning German and/or coding. Trying to find that perfect work life balance, I plan to make the time to be social this year! Wouldn't mind joining a share house near UNSW or teaming up to start a new one, if you think id be a good match send me a msg. Cheers, Aaron :)
I'm a full-time student who's looking for a peaceful place to live along with others. I consider the trustworthiness, friendliness and understanding the primary keys to make friends. Living with these friends, of course, requires even more of these qualities. I understand this and will try for it. I do not have any pet and do not smoke.
We're a group of 3 girls who have been great friends for the past two years. We are very and neat and tidy and great at cooking. Besides study and work, we love to socialize and chill. We have always taken care of our personal belongings and will be reliable with any property we will rent. We would like to find a lovely home ASAP to start off 2017 great!
Easy going professional working in the city. Pretty much work all week and keep active before and after work. Looking for a place with a chilled vibe with easy going people who also keen clean as I see my self as being clean but not a clean freak. From canberra but have lived in Melbourne for the past few years and now I've moved here so looking for a place for at least 6 months.
An exchanging student from Hong Kong. A very nice and considerate person, always keeping things tidy and neat. A very friendly and easy-going person, can't wait to meet new friends from different parts of the world and to experience a new life in Sydney. :P
Irish couple who just moved to Sydney. Laid back & fun and like to enjoy a few drinks at the weekend but also very tidy and respectful of the house.
Hi! I'm Hannah (23yrs), I am currently working part time while studying a Cert. IV in Fitness. I'm a pretty chilled out chick - I love a chat over a cheeky cider or two, but know my boundaries and am respectful of personal space and quiet times. I'm looking for like minded people to share a beautiful home with! Send me a message!
(Andy) Writing on behalf of all of us. Looking for two or three beds around Sydney. I am a good cook and enjoy making dishes from around the world. We are all clean and tidy people and respect others people's privacy but we like to socialise. Ella is current pursuing a career hospitality whilst I am coaching rugby in west Sydney and hoping to become a swim instructor. I am looking for part time bar work to support myself in the meantime. Sophie is working in the sales industry.
Very friendly, energetic group of guys. We are a group of three graduates from England who have travelled for a while and are excited for our second year in Australia, escaping the horrific English weather in the process. We work in a combination of retail, catering and sales so will be out of the house for large periods. However, we also love to socialise and make the most of our days off! We are all big sport fans including, soccer (football), cricket, rugby and tennis. Having spent time living in Melbourne and Sydney previously we have never had any problems with flat mates or landlords and are also very respectful of the property we are living in and ensure it stays tidy.
Hey! So I'm in my second semester at UNSW Law. I'm a pretty chilled out person, very friendly , easy- going and at the same time very respectful of another person's privacy. I tidy up after myself and like my stuff neat and clean. I'm down to share a drink every now and then as well as give my flatmates their personal space. So if you're looking for someone who is really easy to adjust with and you have a room close to UNSW . Please leave me a message. I'm looking at moving in 2-3rd feb onwards. Ps : I'm currently on holiday till the 31st so just leave me a message on flatmates and i'll message you back . Will be available on my (AUS cell) 1st Feb onwards.
My name is Georgia, I am 22 and I'm British. I adore exploring and experiencing new places, which stemmed from living in Toronto a few years back. I promise to do my own dishes, and always clean up after myself. I'm down to earth, and I'm pretty organised, very easy to get along with too. I love going to new pubs/restaurants and while I am a vegetarian I'm not a strict one. I have a great sense of humour and love meeting new people, reading, wine and lollies, socialising (but I do also appreciate my own space), chilling out, and anything that's a new experience. After graduating university last year am treasuring this time abroad as peaceful, and happy and it's going beautifully so far. I'm excited to properly start my time in Melbourne!
I'm from Sydney but I've moved around a lot in the last 5 years -- living in San Francisco, Madrid and Brisbane. I've just moved back to study at UNSW so ideally I'd be living in a social house where eating or having a drink together is equally as important as respect each other's space.
Hi the name's Seb, 22. Gonna be Studying a Master of Screen Arts Cinematography at AFTRS. Moving from Adelaide. Some interests include Film of course, music, photography, having a good time and enjoying the present moment.
Hey! I just got into Medicine at UNSW so moving up to Syd from Melbourne. I love good music, brunch, staying active, drinks, movies, being social. Looking to share a house with likeminded easy-going people who enjoy each other's company, shared meals sometimes, occasional drinks/get togethers. Also like my own space sometimes to chill out/study. Definitely not looking to share a house with people who rarely emerge from their own rooms.
Hi, My name is Loretta, I'm 24 from Perth and am relocating to Sydney with my work (accountant). I am looking for an unfurnished bedroom that can fit a queen bed in a share house / flat share close to the CBD. I preferably want off street parking. An inbuilt wardrobe would be a plus! My budget is max. $300 per week (not including bills). As I work full time I would likely only be around at night and on weekends. My partner is relocating to Canberra and we plan to alternate weekends between the two places. As such, I would like a place that can accommodate having my partner stay every other weekend (noting that I will be away every other weekend in Canberra). I enjoy hiking / coastal walks, trying new restaurant, good TV shows and the odd glass of red. I like a clean and tidy environment and would make sure to do my share of the housework. I have also previously lived in a sharehouse. Please message me if you have a place that might suit :) I arrive in Sydney on Monday, 23rd Jan so can come and view places between then and 6 Jan (my preferred move date).

Ideally I would love to live with someone with I can share a good laugh, food and perhaps a drink or two. But I also respect other people's privacy. I have lived in 4 share flats before in three different countries so I used to being responsible (paying on time), able to live with others and clean (like really!).

Really looking for a place to call home. I would love to have dinners/wine together after work or on weekends. Also I'm very excited to explore Sydney and meet new people! Hi, there My name is Laura, I am a student in UNSW doing my master degree in finance. I am a quit girl, non-smoking, and easy going! I'm a Chinese girl, and i lived in Australia for about 3yrs. And my hobby is baking, I would like to share my homemade cake with you, it's really amazing! By the way, I want to buy a car in the next semester so I hope there is a car park available. Ps. Please contact me online or email me, because I am traveling home for Chinese New Year I afraid I can't receive overseas message. Regards, Laura.
Hey guys! I'm arriving in Sydney on 1st February for working holiday and looking for an accommodation in Sydney. I am a sociable person. I don't smoke. I like to drink sometimes but I don't get too drunk and crazy. I'd like if my housemates can be friends to hang out with as well. I am an Indonesian Chinese female on WHV. Initially, I think on most days I will go out to explore the city and find a job. I am usually a night owl but I'm trying to change a bit, wake up in the morning to exercise. I don't cook many kinds of food, just simple things like grilled salmon, pasta, salad, ramen. And I'd be happy to share if you like :) I speak English well, and also Mandarin Chinese. I mostly like to live in a clean house so I don't mind cleaning the common rooms whenever I have time. But, I'd also like people to take responsibility in taking care of the house.
Hello! I'm a 28 years old PhD student at UNSW. I'm friendly, clean, tidy, non-smoker and with no pets. I live a very healthy lifestyle and enjoy swimming, yoga and traveling. I will be studying and working full time (so no worries about rent and bills payments from my side) and looking for a cozy place to call home. I have a lot of experience sharing flats with people and know how to respect your privacy when needed, but will also be happy to have an occasional dinner together and share some laughs. I will be arriving to Sydney in late January and prefer to move in by the beginning or mid of February. My flatmate should be friendly, considerate, quiet when needed (I might have to study in the apartment), clean, tidy and a non-smoker. If you like to travel and into going out and grabbing a drink every once in a while that would be a bonus ;) If you think we can be a good match and have a spare room please feel free to send me a message. Cheers :)
Now in my fifth year of uni (engineering/commerce), local student. I'm a pretty quiet, chill and clean guy. I don't spend much time at home since I'm either at uni or work. Love to play any sports, socialise and drink :)
Hi, I’m Indonesian who will be a student at UNSW next month. I am searching for accommodation located near my campus for short term (max. 4 weeks) period since I need to look another suitable room for long term after I arrived in Sydney. Hit me a msg if you have an information about a great room for me or for us because it is no problem for me to share the room. I'm a tidy person, friendly, and non-smoker but you can smoke near me it doesn't bother me since I've numerous friends who are smokers.
Hello future friends! I'm a respectful, social and active person who thrives on laughter and happiness. I work full time as a network technician in Watson's Bay the hope of moving closer to the east as wasting 2 hours of my day driving is not okay. I am required to travel throughout the year, which will be to your advantage of course. I try to be as active as possible and in general just love being outdoors, especially in the summer. I'm always up for trying something new (anything is fun in good company). Although I cant cook yet, coming from a family of cooks its hidden deep down i'm sure. Until that time comes, i'll always help out as best as I can. Ideally I would like to live in an environment where we could hang out on occasions and enjoy a glass of wine or beer and play board games or just chat about life or share travel stories. If you have any other questions please ask. Thanks for reading. Giancarlo
Gday, I'm just about to graduate UNSW and am looking for somewhere to chill and relax in now / once I start full-time work. I keep pretty busy with all sorts of things (beach, barbecues, beer, friends etc) but also have my fair share of weekends just taking it easy. I've lived on campus for 4 years at university, which was amazing, but now I'm looking for something a little bit more removed from that lifestyle. I'm really easy going and not too fussed about housemates - as long as they're tidy and similar minded I've found that's all I really need to get along well with. I've made some great friends at uni and through living on campus and wouldn't mind continuing the trend in the next place I go! Thanks for reading
Hi I am an actor, writer and sometimes film maker. I keep active, eat healthy and am passionate about health and having fun! I'm pretty relaxed and enjoy time with people and also by myself. I like to live in quiet places close to nature, with people who are clean, considerate, easy going, kind and into taking life a bit slower. I love dogs, dancing, singing and making lots of cool stuff - painting, weaving and cooking!
We are newlyweds starting a new life in Sydney from South Africa. Being home owners ourselves back home, we value what a good tenant is and we are very house proud. We need a private apartment with a private bathroom.
Hi. I am an easy going, friendly guy, joining UNSW for Master of Information Technology in Feb 2017. I am responsible and conscientious tenant and like to keep my surroundings clean and prefer a peaceful environment.
My name is Kunaal and I was born and raised in Fiji. I like to explore new places and meet new people. I clean up after myself, I can cook and I can do a fairly good Russell Peters impersonation. I am a first year at UNSW studying aviation.I enjoy sports like swimming, tennis and soccer. I also enjoy reading, cooking, playing Battlefield on my PS4 and going to the occasional party.
I am a 20 year old dutch girl. Studying and working in Sydney. I love to explore Sydney, but also like to have a drink at home or going out. Always up for meeting new people and going new places.
I'm a French exchange student at UNSW who's clean, tidy and always in a good mood. I'm fond of sport such as rugby, volleyball, and tennis but I also like knitting in front of my favourite series. Although I like to have a chat and hang out with my flatmates from time to time, I'm very respectful of their privacy since I also enjoy spending time on my own. I'm looking forward to meeting you !
Hi there, Nik is here! I'm a tidy person, and a super fun person to be around, but I also like to have my own time from time to time. A place near to UNSW is an ideal as I will be studying there full time. I would love to stay with any gender, occupation, and age as long as we respect each other. I'm aiming to move in around 24 Feb.
Hi! I will be doing an exchange semester at UNSW and looking for a room/flatshare/flatmate during that period. I'm 21, from Belgium but studying in Canada. I am very open-minded, social, clean and super excited to explore Sydney and its surroundings, and also to meet new people.
I'm a very easy going, respectful and social guy that loves to stay positive. I'm open minded, work hard (currently studying and working) and love to cook whenever I get a chance and would love to live in the house with like minded people and like in the past, potentially make life long friends out of this. Things that I like include 8/10 IMDB movies, anything tech related, business books, gym, salsa dancing and Saturday night taco nights (this is a must!!) ps. I'm preferably looking for a place to move in around mid February, but would consider earlier move ins for 9/10 above places. Cheers
Hello~! I will be studying in UNSW this coming Feb, I'm pretty open, outgoing, friendly, clean, tidy and anything under the sun kinda of guy, enjoy socializing but at the same time likes to stay at home and chill. Don't mind drinking and socializing but I also take people's privacy and personal space very seriously. Been living and working in the States for a couple of years, really appreciate a clean and tidy place. Looking for a private room with ensuite/private bathroom. DO hit me up. Cheers. =)
I am a 6th year Commerce/Law student with a graduate job in law starting in 2018. I am currently teaching at the University of New South Wales. I will be leaving for the US in July 2017. Hi I'm Jade, 26 and I'm ideally looking for a room in the eastern kind of area although I am pretty open as long as public transport is easily available. I'm originally from Essex, UK and here on a working holiday visa. I have not long completed my regional work (it was awful) and need a cute and comfy place to call home to enjoy my second year while I try to figure out a way to stay here forever. I will be looking to move in ay sap if possible! I'm currently working full-time in the CBD in administration and pretty much every day will meet with friends or attempt the gym straight from work. I'm a clean and organised (some might say a little obsessive) non smoker, part time drinker here to make friends as well as house mates. Peace. ✌🏼️
Hey guys, I'm looking to move to Sydney somewhere close to UNSW in mid-February. Ideally I'd love to be living with some lovely people who are happy to hang out, have a chat and a drink wine with me, yet I do like to have my own space to do my own thing too. I try to maintain a relatively healthy lifestyle, but have major weaknesses for anything cadbury and tim tams. I'm always up for a trip to the beach, make an amazing cup of tea, and love a night in as much as a night out. If you have a puppy that would be amazing but also not a total deal breaker. I keep clean and tidy and am happy to help around the house as needed. If you think we'd click please let me know :)
Hey Im Matt, Im a Radiographer from Sunshine Coast looking for a place to stay while I study at NIDA and work casually. Im friendly, fun, clean, intelligent (I like to think) and easy to get along with. Im staying with a friend at the moment and looking for a more permanent place. Cheers, Matt
Hello! My name is Kelly, I am 24 year old. I am studying Psychology and Japanese (can have a conversation if you speak!) at UNSW part time, and working full time. I am looking for some cool people to share a place with. I am a clean and tidy, friendly, and considerate person. I have a cat called Momo, who I am not willing to part with. So, I am hoping to find some people who like cats! He is also friendly and loves and is loved by everyone he meets. Look forward to meeting you!
Hi, my name is Ula, I'm a Polish born Sydney girl working in media, and completing my masters degree. If I'm not at work or uni, I'll be at a cafe, playing video games, reading or binge watching whichever show I'm addicted to at the time. My partner Jeremy is an American working in hospitality and also completing his masters. He loves kickbocking, muay thai, whiskey, and video games, has a great sense of humour, and is just an all round cool guy. We are both non-smokers and neat.
Grandma always said I was an adorable little dumpling. What she really meant was that I am sociable, open minded, keeps to myself, easy-going, and not very adorable. This little dumpling is also smoke, party, and mess free. I have poor taste in modern art and a connoisseur of fine liquor. I have 3 words of Australian slang in my vocabulary and only 1 of them can be used for insults.
Hi there:) I'm a grad student at UNSW (Juris Doctor) and I'm an easygoing and open-minded person. I am not a party girl but I don't mind a drink from time to time. I love yoga, exercise an I try to live a healthy lifestyle:)))). I am a non smoker and a veggie. Hope to hear from you:). Violet
Hi, guys. I am an overseas student studying in a high school in North Bondi. I am looking for a place closed to my school to stay planning in moving in before or little after 31.1.2017. Furnished and private rooms are appreciated. It will be really nice if bills and Internet can be included in rent. I usually cook once a day, maybe twice a day during weekends. Primity to bus stations and train stations is appreciated. Thanks!
