We are a couple looking to move out of the city into the inner west, or eastern suburbs. We are both currently studying in Kensington, however Katie is graduating at the end of the year. We are looking to find somewhere to settle down for the foreseeable future, hopefully somewhere that has an area for Katie to put her plants :)
Hi, I am 28 years old, I have a Civil and Structural Engineering degree and I am currently studying Psychology. I am from Mildura, VIC originally and moved to Adelaide in 2008 for University, I have lived there for 10 years now and am making a move to bigger and better things in Sydney. I have recently been granted a new job as a Project Manager. My hobbies include studying psychology, writing, reading, meditation, yoga, beach swimming, hiking (Looking forward to many weekend hiking the blue mountains) and eating brunch. I am single and very easy going, I am looking for a share house with like-minded people who are professionals and like to both socialise and have quiet weekends. I need a place close to work or transport which is located in Pott's Point. Also, close to a good yoga studio would be ideal. I am away for 3 months traveling Nepal and India from August, however, when I return I will be looking at moving over in November/December 2017. Let me know if you think the above aligns with you way of life, much appreciated! Andrew
Karlee and I are both exchange students looking for accommodation near UNSW from mid July to the end of November (maybe later). We would love to find a pkace with two open private rooms for hte duration of our time in Sydney. We both love to have a good time (whether it be going out or something chill like staying in and watching netflix), we both are undergrad science majors, psychology and biology, we're 20 years old and are very open to new things. Both of us are very outgoing and easy to get along with. We are looking forward to exploring Sydney and meeting new people. Please feel free to message us for more details or if you have an opening! Thank you :)
I'm currently studying at Tilburg University in Holland but I was born and raised in Germany. I'm going to study at UNSW for one semester and I'm looking for flatmates who are clean and organized but also know how to have fun and enjoy life. I would consider myself to be open-minded and a funny person who also knows when to be serious. :) I'll arrive in Sydney at the 10th of July and from that day on until the end of November I need accommodation. I'm really looking forward to my 5 month stay in Sydney and I hope that we will have a lot of fun together!!
I work on placement at Prince of Wales as a final year Medical Student approaching my exam period, however, I do most of my study on site. So when I come home, aside from some reading, I like to engage with my housemates and eat dinner or watch TV together. I'm an avid runner and gym goer, foodie, caffeine head and love a meal out on occasion. I've lived in houses where there are strict cleaning rosters and particularly in the kitchen, I make sure I clean after myself and keep the place tidy. Being a runner, I'm not really a big drinker or party person so I don't have that many people round. So if we were to live together our space wouldn't be constantly invaded by others but I love meeting cool new people so if you had friends over no dramas!
Hello! My name is Brad, I'm a 34 year old financial services professional working full-time in the CBD. I've lived in Sydney for a bit over 4 years having relocated from Melbourne for a career opportunity in early 2013. I'm friendly, clean, respectful and very easy going. I enjoy living with others (both male and female) and have done so for more than 10 years (more than happy to provide references if required). I like to live a fairly active and healthy lifestyle (gym, riding and running), but also enjoy the occasional social drink with housemates/friends and some quality time in front of the TV! I like to treat where I live as a home as opposed to just a room in a house. Ideally I'm looking for a long term place to make my new home. In terms of timing, I can be flexible for the right place - my current lease is finishing up at the end of July so just need to have myself sorted by then! If you're after someone responsible, independent, financially secure, low maintenance and easy to get along with, please get in touch!
I'm extremely easy going. I like to keep things clean and organised. I like a quiet and relaxed home environment, though I can enjoy a good party too on occasion. I work full time, 8.5 hours a day mon-fri in Strawberry Hills. I enjoy going out and exploring and I love to socialise and hang out. Simply looking for a nice place to crash close to work with cool people! I travel often for work, but will continue to pay my share while away. I'm not able to move until mid September. Duration of stay also negotiable. Am looking for at least 6 months+.
Hey roomie! Bit about me... I'm a bit of a nomad. Been skipping all over the world for the last 11 years and not sure if i'll ever be able to stop. In Melbourne now but moving to Sydney on the 29th for work. Into many activities including: coffee, fried chicken, quiz night, exploring cities, hiking mountains, 8 ball, darts, games of all sorts, reading, movies, all the sports, interesting conversations, learning, being proven wrong, cooking delicious meals, cooking shitty meals and lots lots more. Beer, vino and whiskey are things I should stay away from, but do not. Love trash day and paying rent on time. Keeping the kitchen clean is a passion of mine, not in an anal type of way, but yeah. Generally have my shit in order. Been playing the renting game for a long time and get along with just about anyone. Mark x
I am a 25 year old industrial officer who works full time in the city. I currently live in Zetland but have to move out as my housemates are a couple who are wanting to move in alone. I am a respectful, clean and tidy guy . Like to socialise and have drinks or dinner every now and again with my housemate(s) but am also quite happy doing my own thing most of the time.
Hello!! Soon I will be moving to Sydney, UNSW for my Masters (Civil engineering). I am looking for affordable rooms/flat with awesome people to live in. I love photography, movie making and adventure freak. I am Nepali. Thanks
My dog Chewie (Chewbacca) and I are looking for a new place to call home. I work full time at UNSW doing a PhD investigating metabolism in health and disease, and part time in the army reserve doing my officer training. That keeps me busy, but with the time I have left I like to get up early to train and take any chance to head outside for a walk, hike, or grab a coffee. I’m very professional and respectful towards others, and I like to keep a clean and tidy house – although of course we do inevitably come with a little bit of fur. Chewie is dedicated to his work in the lifestyle services and pampering industry, very professional, neat and tidy, incredibly friendly and well-mannered. He does tend to melt hearts though… We love parks, the beach, and healthy people that love getting outside.
Hey! I'm moving to Sydney in July as an exchange student from the UK and I'm looking for somewhere to live for the semester 2 period (July-Nov). I'll be studying psychology at UNSW so I'm hoping to find accommodation with other students or young people around that area that's in walking distance. I would be looking for a private room that is already furnished. I'm a 21-year-old female from the UK, I'm very sociable and hope to make some really good friendships while I'm living in Sydney. I've been living in student houses for the past 2 years so I'm used to living with big groups of people and understand the responsibilities of sharing a house together (i.e I clean up after myself, don't avoid taking the bins out, respect others privacy etc.) Hoping to find flatmates who are fun and sociable and wouldn't mind showing me around Sydney and helping me settle in for my first few months.
Moving in 11th of July. I will be studying for my Masters Program in Public Health at NSW Uni. Married with one child. My family will reside in the islands of Samoa as I go abroad to study. I'm tidy. I study hard. Very easy to get along with. I'm from the friendly island of Samoa. For fun I like to go for walks, read and play volleyball. Non smoker. Christian values. I am a social responsible drinker and also like to try out different cultural foods. Hoping to meet new people from all parts of the world and have lasting friendships.
Swedish exchange student coming to Sydney to start my post-graduate degree at UNSW. Hobby musician and fan of any activities performed on the sea. I am an easygoing and social person who likes to have a cold beer and hang out after a long day of studying/being awesome. I don't smoke, I'm tidy and I consider any pets a great bonus.
Just finished my undergraduate study in America, starting my new adventure in Sydney at UNSW for post-graduate study. I love music and sports, play guitar and basketball a lot. Cooking is my passion too, I always keep my stuff clean and organized, and I love meeting new friends across the world.
I like to live in a Clean space, like to cook and keep active during the week. I enjoy having the odd dinner and catch up with a housemate
I am media student at UNSW. I am quiet, organised, tidy, always enjoy a good laugh in conversations. I love to be creative in my free time, creative writing, sculpture making, photography. You will find me easy to live with as I lived with many flatmates before, and they have little to complain.
Hello. I am friendly, helpful and great company. A non-smoker, I am very organised and tidy. I need my own room and ensuite bathroom - looking to share a two-bedroom apartment which has two bathrooms, preferably with a lady flatmate. A secure building with internal laundry are a must. My budget is inclusive of bills. I am an Australian of Indian-Sri Lankan heritage. Currently tutor at UNSW while finishing my PhD. A chocoholic, some of my interests are music, movies, literature, photography, travel and dancing. I love socialising and having a good time with friends but am not a party-goer.
Call me Mizo! pronounced like the soup and twice as delicious lol Engineer gone rogue and now a google-er. Love dancing and cooking; will cook and bake lots of cookies when I'm home. Not a drinker, not a smoker mostly am the designated driver X_X. Organised, clean and considerate of people's time, space, and sleep. Sociable and always love a good company. If you want to dance, I shall teach!! Cooking is one of my hobbies; i love to cook for myself and enjoy sharing meals. If you like cookies and milk on a sunday evening, make sure you bribe me accordingly lol.
I am Theresa, come from Germany and will spend the second term of the year as an exchange student at UNSW to study business. I have already lived in shared accommodations before so I know what it is like respecting the others privacy and keeping the place clean. I like hanging out with my flatmates to cook or do something together. In my free time I like doing sports (running, beach volleyball etc.), visiting new places and getting to know new people. I am easy to get along and uncomplicated to live with and am really looking forward to coming to Sydney and get to know a new city and a new country.
Hi, I'm Matt, an Australian currently studying his PhD at UNSW. Being a student I more or less get to choose my work hours but these are generally normal Mon-Fri working hours. I enjoy playing tennis and exercise (when I can find the motivation) as well as most normal stuff like relaxing with movies/tv, meeting friends, playing xbox... I'm keen to stay close to uni and with people are pretty relaxed and happy to hang out every now and again.
I’m Vincent, I’m 22 years old and I’m from Amsterdam. I’m coming to Sydney in July to study abroad for one semester at UNSW (until December). Here in Amsterdam I study Artificial Intelligence. I’m looking for a room in a shared flat/house with housemates that are preferably also students. I like coffee, cooking, tv shows, swimming and hanging out with friends (and a bevvy or 2). I like a clean home, so I don’t mind cleaning up every once in a while. Hit me up :)
