We are Shannen and Naoise and we will be moving to Sydney at the end of May. We are hoping to find somewhere to live short term in the eastern suburbs, and if all is going well hopefully we can turn it into a long term stay. So a bit about ourselves and hopefully why we would make great housemates: Naoise is originally from Perth but has been living in Ireland. He is a Mechanical Engineer so he is very handy to have around the place for fixing things. He is quite adventurous and likes to get outdoors try new things (skiing, mountain biking, camping surfing etc). Naoise has a great sense of humor and is always up for a good laugh and doesn't take himself too seriously. Shannen is Irish and is a Neuroscience graduate. Recently she has been working in virus detection. Shannen loves to bake so there will always be treats in the house. She is also one of the most kind, caring and friendly people you will ever meet. She has a warm and bubbly personality. We aren't exactly party people but we do enjoy meeting new friends and having a drink or two on the weekend. We are both quite active and are looking forward to get out to the beach and enjoy the famous Aussie weather. If we sound like we could be your perfect housemates please contact us. Best Regards, Shannen and Naoise
Hi everyone, My name is Lucy. I'm an international student from China currently studying at UNSW. I'm looking for a place to stay around uni. While busy with my studies, I'm an easy-going, open-minded and energetic person to hang out with. I hope to have some interesting people under the same roof and make new friends. Please contact me if you're interested. Cheers
From the UK, work in financial services/technology, recently 30 & left a good lifestyle back home for a great lifestyle out here! Love to socialise over food & drinks, although the latter distinctly fell away in volume & regularity as the door to my 20s slammed shut, in favour of an active outdoors lifestyle, an early start & a good coffee! Always keeping myself busy & healthy - in the gym BEFORE work most mornings (so no competition for the bathroom 😉) & in the evenings was previously doing Crossfit twice a week & Spanish lessons another night, both of which I’ll pick up again when settled. Only know a handful of people in Sydney so would be really good to meet new, likeminded people rather than just flat mates - used a site like this once before & made friends for life so the omens are good 🙂
Hey there, my names Laura and I'm looking for a place to call home whilst I get through the next few years of uni (sigh). I play hockey, go to the beach, eat megatones of gelato, and I'm someone who likes to do some social things with my housemates like go for pub snitty dinners, cook 'family' meals or go for a walks etc. Through the week im pretty chill but I do usually like to enjoy my weekends going out for a drink and doing a bit of fun stuff like barefoot bowls or going to a gig. I love meeting new people and happy to socialise - I'm not the type of person to live in my room. I moving to sydney to go to uni at UNSW and I work as a disability worker so I might have some night shifts here and there so you might not see me all the time. I'm clean but not a clean freak and I think im pretty down to earth. I hope to find some housemates that I can feel comfortable with and make the place feel homely
I am a French double degree Pharmacy/Business student coming for an exchange at UNSW. Thus I am looking for a tidy place around the area of the University. I have already some experience in shared houses (5 months in Brisbane, 9 months in Singapore), I respect my flatmates and also hanging around altogether. I am easy going, sociable, clean and tidy. As a person, I am passionate about tennis, fashion and entrepreneurship. Feel free to contact me :)
Hey! I'm an Architect. I will be moving to Australia next year to do a master degree UNSW. I'm also planning to work part time. I'm a very easy going person who likes to go out and relax during the weekends. On the other hand I consider myself to be a responsible, clean, organized, and tidy person. I like to exercise every day, I practice yoga and box; I enjoy running, and I want to start surfing.
My name's Ellie and I'm 23 years old. I'm an Australian and American citizen, who was born and raised in Munich, Germany. I'll be studying at UNSW beginning of March and will most likely be working part-time as well. Apart from helping and working with children, my biggest hobbies/passions are going to the gym, drawing and going out and exploring places. I think I'm a great flatmate because I'm very tidy, I clean up after myself, I'm pretty introverted, yet open to going out and meeting new people and I understand and respect privacy and needing down-time, as I need it as well. Also, you'd never need to worry about rent, because if necessary, my parents are happy to help out financially! Can't wait to hear from whomever! ;)
Working full time in the city, I'm a super tidy, respectful and responsible housemate looking for a long term/unfurnished room (min 6 months)
I’m from Bali, Indonesia and currently doing my Masters in Electronic Science and Technology at University of Michigan - Shanghai Jiaotong University Joint Institute. I’m in Australia for a semester exchange. I love dancing, playing guitar, cooking, and traveling, also partying 😀 I am very outgoing and chill. I have lived in 3 different continents and speak 5 languages
Me and josh are both very sociable, clean and tidy! We love to chill through the week as we both work all day. We like to explore at weekends and get out and enjoy our time in Australia. We like to cook meals and are genuinely just a nice easy going couple.
Who am I? I'm a Dutch student, studying Cognitive Psychology and Artificial Intelligence. In my home country I am member of a student society/ fraternity. I like reading, cycling, hiking and gaming. I like to start the day with a coffee (with housemates), and eat together in the evening. Why live with me? Relaxed personality, like to socialize with my flatmates. I have been in several countries, like China, Russia and all over Europe. Would like to do stuff together, like surfing, going out etc. (especially in weekends). Thru the week I'll be mostly studying, working and surfing. In the evening I would like to eat together (if possible) and also hang out together; maybe watch movies, football or whatsoever.
Hey I’m Jaz and I’m currently in Peru (about to climb Machu Picchu, wish me luck!). I am coming back to Sydney on the 3rd of March with no place to live. I am studying at UNSW and work at St. Peter’s. I have lived out of home for all of last year and only moved out because of the long holiday that I am currently on. I’m a tidy and respectful person who likes to socialize with other housemates but also understands personal space. During semester I’m very busy and you most likely won’t see me very often during the week due to my uni, work and sporting commitments. Feel free to message me if you think you I would suit your household and I would be happy to continue to chat online and meet F2F when I get home.
Ahoy there 👋🏻 Don’t be fooled, im a 50 year old woman in a 19 year old girls body, i love a tidy household, cooking roast dinners and reading novels, and going for afternoon walks. I’m looking for likeminded people who respect the shared space as well as my own privacy. I’m studying my first year at the National Art School in Darlinghurst, i’m a freelance artist and musician, i am easy-going and good at knowing boundaries. During my 5 weekdays i’ll be studying on campus at my uni , leaving my nights free to relax. I don’t have any bad habits, and like to stay away from smoking, drugs and throwing wild house parties, just a few casual wines and abit of chit chat. Some of my interests include; the arts, music, cooking, fitness and health, spirituality and meeting new people.
Biotechnology student from Cyprus starting my second semester at UNSW after completing 2 years in Edinburgh, Scotland. I enjoy cooking, reading, bouldering, squash and above all chilled music. Looking for a private room and friendly flatmates would be a huge plus!
I'm a smiling, happy and caring person with a good sense of humor. I enjoy connecting with people and share ideas and feelings. I'm honest and respectful and always care to make people around me comfortable. I have very high standard values but I'm easy and flexible. I believe it is important to communicate so everyone can feel good and serene. I have a healthy active life : a balanced diet, practicing sport on a daily basis. I'm independent and do my own activities. I like reading a good book and stay outside as much as possible as I love being outdoor! When it happens I enjoy having a nice conversation with my flatmate, sharing why not a diner or a glass of wine/tea! If you contact me you will hear a french accent! I hope you don't mind!! :)
Currently a friend of mine and myself are pursuing a degree in Economics and Business Administration. This semester we are conducting an exchange to Macquaire university and therefore we are looking for a place to live. Both of us are Norwegians, with both almost the same name and a taste for the outdoors. Between the two of us we love football, going to the gym, swimming and SCUBA diving. We are not the typical party people, but can enjoy some nights out now and then. Both my friend and I have lived in shared apartments the past three years. Consequently, we are well acustomed to being clean, outgoing and considerate. We are looking forward to explore as much as possible of Sydney and Australia, therefore we will be away travelling for some weekends. We would be delighted to attend an inspection at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you :)
My name is Jose Ramon and I am from Spain. I am a really easy going person, who gets on well with almost everybody. I enjoy hanging out and enjoy a couple of beers or just a good talk with a cup of coffee. I like practising sports and I am currently playing football but I have also tried basketball, judo and handball. Plans that I like range from pizza and movie, playing board games, going out, playing sports... I would like to try surfing. Pretty much enjoy most things
I'm from the United States studying abroad at UNSW. I'll be studying Computer Science and am looking for a place from February to early July. I'm quite easy-going, rather clean, and friendly. I enjoy going hiking/backpacking, diving, and am always down for a good time.
