I'm Nettie,
I'm a young at heart, 61 years old semi retired woman. I receive a pension that covers my needs, I paint garden pots and sell online also I'm finalizing my divorce early next year so that should bump my income.
I'm half outgoing personality enjoying: laugh, going out shopping, meeting friends for coffee and eating meals, and going to community events. Then I get my introvert on and recharge my batteries by: sewing, painting, gardening, bingeing Netflix, YouTube and audiobooks .
I'm a non smoker and bring on events like Xmas or a birthday.
I tend to be out about 3 days a week with one of those being Sunday. When at home I generally doing office work, midday I do any cooking for the day (soI only have to zap tea). From 2pm to dark I garden or paint. Saturday I treat as a day rest and chill out!
I don't mind sharing with all ages. My last flat mates were two 30 yr old girls and we lived closely in a townhouse. My kids are 24 to 37 years with kids of their own.
Big "Needs":
1. Bills included in rent
2. Air-conditioning in room, but if rent closer to $200 I will consider buying a portable.
3. Close to public transport, especially train.
4. Semi furnished (single to double bed)
5. In shared space like living, kitchen, bathrooms that everyone cares for these space and leave it clean for the next person.
Big "wants":
1. Having a clean, functional area where everyone appreciates "getting along"!
2. Having a garden to work in, care for and improve (under the permission of owner).
3. Having a place where I can paint pots. At my last place, I put down rubber mats and used part of the LUG but I can also do a folding table in the backyard.
4. Having a 2nd sitting space e.g. balcony, outdoor entertainment area, study area.
5. Extra storage in the form of LUG or storage shed.
6. Near to Aldi and Bunnings.
7. Think Hills area, Thornleigh area, places near public transport. But I'm open to suggestions.
I'm currently in Airbnb and are able to move quickly, if I find the right place. Looking at 9 months stay.
Looking forward to seeing you,
Nettie
