Hi everyone! I am currently looking for a room to rent preferably long term. My current lease ends on 8th of January 2026 and me and my son have no where to go following that. I am 27 years old and a full time single dad to an awesome 4 year old boy. My son has a few health issues so it is absolutely critical that I am able to keep a roof over his head in order for him to continue accessing the services he currently accesses. We are looking to stay in Redlands but am open to surrounding suburbs/areas also. I consider myself a very tidy, organised and mature person who takes great care of any house I live in and always pay my rent, bills etc on time. I am also very easy to get along with and always down for a conversation but also value personal space at times aswell. My 4 year old son is a very bubbly personality with great mannerisms who is guaranteed to provide some laughs. I am currently on single parenting payment (have been for last almost 3 years from when I went full time with my son so I have secure consistent income), and can also provide references in regards to tenancy history. Me and my son will be in and out of the house during the week attending his therapy sessions/ health appointments but he will be starting kindy in the new year with myself having plans to return to work now that he is nearing school age. I have my own furniture, kitchen stuff etc and have a fridge which I'm happy enough to pay extra on power to have in use at the property.
