Hey! I’m Lauren, I’m 31 and originally from the North of the UK 🇬🇧. I’ve been living in Australia for a while now and I’m currently working full-time for BMW.

A little bit about me, I’m pretty chilled and easy-going, and I’m definitely someone who likes having a good balance. During the week I’m quite routine-based. I work during the day, head to the gym after work most days, and when I get home I’m usually ready to shower, eat and relax. I’m not really someone who goes out during the week, so home is definitely my place to switch off.

On weekends I’m a bit more outgoing. I love getting out and about, going for walks, heading to the beach, exploring Sydney, seeing friends and having a few drinks or a laugh. I’m definitely social and love a bit of banter, but I also really value having a home that feels relaxed and comfortable.

As a housemate, I’m clean, tidy and respectful. I’m considerate of the people I live with, I clean up after myself and I’m mindful of noise and shared spaces. I’m also totally fine with people having friends or partners over, I think it’s important that everyone feels comfortable having people around, as long as we’re respectful of each other.

I’m very easy to get along with and I’m not looking for a house where everyone keeps completely to themselves. I’d be nice to actually get along with my housemates, have a chat, watch something together or grab a drink occasionally, but I’m also independent and happy doing my own thing.

I’m looking for somewhere more long-term where I can properly settle in and make it feel like home, rather than constantly moving around. Ideally looking for a friendly, clean and respectful household with people who are in a similar stage of life.

Outside of work and the gym, I’m a big beach person, love music, going out with friends, exploring new places and generally making the most of living in Australia. I’m originally from the UK so I’m always up for a good laugh and I’d say I’m pretty laid-back and down to earth.
