I'm 54, single, and studying Mental Health and Diploma. I've spent 16 years in the Disability Industry and currently making changes. Looking to return to work in April 2026.
I am looking for long term accommodation sharing a lease or a room to rent up to $300 per week that includes utilities and Wi-Fi.
I'm generally a quiet person but love a good laugh, fun, very laid back and open minded. I'm respectful and very mindful of people's privacy and space. I would like both of us to feel welcome in our home and free to be ourselves not feeling constricted to a truck load of rules and happy to share general chores.
Enjoy a social drink and love a super cold beer during summer. I'm not a heavy smoker and smoke outside.
I have been a sole lease renter for over 30 years until the rental changes came in 2022. I've had to move 4 times now due to owners moving back in or selling. I would prefer to get a unit or house and then someone in to share the rent.
I would like to be in Midland or surrounding suburbs close to my family and connections.
Would prefer to share with a suitable lady 50+ that would like to apply for a rental home to share the lease and utilities together. I'm happy to share with a suitable male 50+ also. I have internet ready to go with Netflix and huge TV. I have household furniture, microwave, washing machine, dryer, cleaning and gardening equipment etc to maintain a house and to make it home except the bedroom for other tenant. I do have large ceramic/concrete glazed outdoor pots with nice plants and some nice indoor plants.
I do have my 16 year old short haired indoor cat Smokey who generally keeps to herself and very friendly. She is brushed regularly and litter trays kept clean and changed daily.
I like to keep a clean and tidy house including the outdoor areas.
I have good references, ID, and 1 small car.
