Hi, I’m a 22-year-old from the UK moving to Australia in December. I’ll be travelling for the first couple of weeks, but from January 2026 I’ll be looking for a longer-term place to stay. I’m planning to find work in either admin or retail once I settle in. As I love the ocean, I’d ideally like to live somewhere close to the coast around the Gold Coast — Mermaid Waters would be perfect, but I’m happy to look at nearby areas too. I’ll also be getting a car, so having a parking space would be a big bonus.

When it comes to living arrangements, I’m easygoing and happy to share as long as I have my own private room. I don’t smoke, and I treat any house as my own, so you can expect me to keep things clean and respect the space. I’d prefer somewhere that isn’t too overcrowded or loud — I do enjoy my peace and quiet — but I’m definitely not boring! I’m looking forward to experiencing as much as I can while in Australia and would love to live with people who are friendly, respectful, and up for the occasional chat or adventure.
