I'm looking for a room in a home with a backyard, for me and my dog Maggie (9yo labrador x kelpie) - or for like minded people to team up with.
I'm a full time botanist and love everything outdoors, learning new things, creative projects, and good food. I like to bake and share what i've made. I'm always keen for a good chat, maybe over wine or dinner, and casual hang outs, but also respect privacy and down time. I like cozy but tidy shared spaces, love lamps, and hate the big light.
I often work away on field trips that last 2 days - 2 weeks (mostly autumn & spring) and the rest of the time I am based in a Perth office or WFH. Due to work I tend to keep an early schedule.
Maggie is a fantastic cuddler and full of personality. She loves all people, and has always lived with dogs so I would be keen if you had one she could get to know. When I'm in the field, Maggie would holiday with my family.
I'm looking for anywhere in Perth with a decent sized yard and a public transport commute to the city less than 1hr, preferably near the hills (Kalamunda way) or south western suburbs (Coolbellup-ish way) if possible. Keen to stay longer term if possible.
